I have changed an s2 usb port before, if you are patient and skillful with you hands it's easy. Watched loads of yuotube videos, get the usb/charging board on Amazon and some dedicated screw drivers.

Try this; go to settings> application manager, then click ur menu key and choose "reset app prefrence" from the menu.
