All these is story, the same way I, imperiouxx, you n many others researched to get admission. Everyone else should do the same... I don't bliv in spoon feeding ppl with information. This is a visa thread not admissions thread, I bliv ppl should come here after they have gained admission. Anyone who comes here looking for a school strikes me as someone who doesn't wanna come and learn anything in USA so I don't answer.

I know how many emails I sent out b4 coming here. Same way u can browse NL, You can open any school's site... Send enquiries to admissions offices.. Makes you look serious.

Prepare very well for GRE and do the exam.... Different criteria are used in selecting candidates.... As I've said I have friends who finished with 3rd class n doing masters in UK n USA now.... One even had 2 extra yrs in school.

It's possible but if you see getting second degree as nothing then u can go for it

Go to usnews.com go to ranked schools, skip to top 150.... and then pick some schools after that number, send them enquiry emails explaining ur portfolio (gpa, gre scores and co.) They would tell u whether u can apply or not. But if ur sure u can score 340/340 in gre... You can check from 80th school downwards

I honestly do not think any VO will approve your F-1 visa, I may be wrong though.

I don't no why is it that i cannot do without this thread, please house i have been to the embassy three times and yet no VISA, the last time i went the VO ask me which exam i wrote, i told them none and that was the end,

You can submit Assistantship application with your admission application. US embassy takes VISA decision instantly. So, you will know if it was approve or not on your interview date. If it was approved, they will ask you to come for collection after 2/3 days. If you are applying for fall, u need to be very fast.

please, i applied for student's visa in 2001. Then I didn't include all the names of my family members in my application because I was advised that since they are based in USA, it would affect my chance. Then I was denied on the ground that I could not answer some questions about my school. Now, I want to reapply for a different purpose and I want to include all the names including that of the ones in USA.
Please, do I stand a chance?

@ all, for most u who find It difficult getting into US unis wit low CGPA like 3rd class for Masters programmes. I wuld advice u do 1yr PGD here in nigeria, make sure u reach upper credit then u can apply for d Masters because even d PGD is additional qualificatn rather dan going for second bachelor degree which I see as a waste of time & resources

He presents nothing and tells VO nothing about it. When traveling, he should get his medication along.
