The question then is, has Jonathan been elected to the office of President twice? The answer is obviously no.
So why the hair splitting over an obvious statement of fact that he would exceed 8 years in office? For clarity, Jonathan will stay 10 years in office. 2 years as acting President and 8 years as ELECTED president which the constitution permits.
