GHANA: President Atta Mills dies in Accra Citi FM reports that President Atta Mills of Ghana just died, following illness in Accra. The president's health had been unde r watch for some time. At this time last year, when the NDC party convention was taking place, this had raised speculations over the party possibly choosing another candidate for the upcoming general elections in December. Health issues had since then been played down. More importantly, no reports had ever sug gested the possibility of any life threatening condition.
