Former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo who virtually nominated his ailing successor, Umaru Yar’adua, and imposed him on his party and Nigeria, today asked him to toe the path of honour and morality. Obasanjo clearly avoided the ‘R’ word, but his listeners filled the gap for him, that he meant that Yar’Adua should go now, by resigning. Obasanjo was prodded at a public event in Abuja, which he chaired today. It was at the 7th Annual Lecture of the Media Trust Newspaper Group. And it was the first public comment by Obasanjo on Yar’adua since the ailing Asked why he imposed Yar’Adua on Nigerians, well aware of his health problem, Obasanjo said he asked for Yar’Adua’s medical record in 2006. According to him, the ailing leader showed him medical records that showed that even though he was on dialysis as a kidney patient before, he Yar’Adua was no more on dialysis. ‘’I gave the report to medical experts who also confirmed that he was fit since he was no longer under dialysis’’. Obasanjo explained that he requested for Yar’Adua’s medic history because he was aware that the former Katsina Governor spent six months in Nigeria tendering to his kidney problem. He dismissed suggestions that he deliberately picked Yar’adua as his successor because he knew he would not perform. http://thepmnews.com/2010/01/21/resign-now-obj-tells-yaradua-protest-in-lagos |

Traditionally considered to be a fairly uncommon disease process, Type I diabetes affects approximately one out of every 250 people. There are many hundreds things that can go wrong with your body. Consider this short list: 11 beta hydroxylase deficiency - Congenital benign spinal muscular atrophy dominant - 48 xxxx syndrome - Cartilage hair hypoplasia like syndrome - Diphosphoglycerate mutase deficiency of erythrocyte - Achondrogenesis - D-glycerate dehydrogenase deficiency - Ectopic coarctation Fortunately, even most doctors have not heard of some of these. But even though it is considered fairly uncommon, you probably know someone with Type I Diabetes. Symptoms While the symptoms of Type I diabetes tend to be subtle in most cases, if not treated, they will actually become fairly severe. Some of the most common symptoms include: Blurry vision - Frequent urination - Increased thirst - Dry mouth, even after drinking - Heavy or labored breathing for no apparent reason Other serious symptoms and signs associated with Type I diabetes that warrant an emergent need for medical attention may include: Abdominal pain Confusion Rapid breathing and heart rate Shaking, trembling Fruity or sweet smelling breath Causes Scientists still aren't aware of a variety of the factors inducing one to have Type I diabetes. However, they do know that a susceptibility to the condition may be inherited from one or both parents. Researchers have discovered that this form of diabetes may also be caused by something in the environment that causes an unfortunate reaction within the immune system. However, they are unsure as to the exact origin of these triggers. Diagnosis For an accurate diagnosis of Type I diabetes, your doctor must check for abnormal blood sugar levels by performing a blood test, or also testing for the presence of glucose or ketones in the urine. With today's technology, there is no way to test for a tendency for Type I diabetes, or a method to prevent one from developing this type of diabetes. http://ourhealthandwealth..com/ |

Getting rid of wrinkles is not easy, but can be done. One solution to slow or reduce wrinkles is to strengthen the underlying muscles of the face. By exercising the facial muscles you help to firm and enlarge the muscle creating lift and a fuller firmer face. In addition, by doing facial exercises correctly, you help to eliminate that papery, crapey, thin skin - especially the kind you get around the neck and eye areas. For those deep hard stubborn wrinkles that have been there for years, there are certain exercise techniques to help rub the wrinkle away. This is accomplished by rubbing the wrinkle deeply to "unglue" or release it from the skin. http://ourhealthandwealth..com/ |
