SoNature: That’s my point. Ihedioha has spent more time on media and photoshop than on the people but then it has affected his rating which has kept nosediving till date. 1 Like 1 Share |

asha80: He will be sacked by tribunal because he obviously did not win the goverorship election. If it's a run off Uche Nwosu shall defeat him decisively but if it's a rerun one of the 3 top contenders shall replace him. 3 Likes |

That is not the detailed news. Nairaland bot banned me for posting the news yesterday. Governor Ihedioha drags Okorocha to court over inciting actions Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has dragged his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, to court over the accusation that the former governor “has consistently been in the deplorable habit of fomenting trouble and inciting your supporters to disobey the government of the day.” In the suit, with reference no: OW/MISC.79/2019, filed at the Owerri district of the Magistrate Court, Ihedioha alleged that his predecessor “has been in the habit of making seditious and inciting statements against the government even on air using your Radio station (Reach FM) which is widely listened to in Owerri and beyond.” The suit, which has the Attorney General as the complainant and Okorocha as the defendant, also alleged that Okorocha, “instead of representing your constituents who purportedly elected you into the senate in Abuja, spend your time in Owerri, Imo state, cavorting with your retinue of well-armed thugs and urchins referred to as ‘Ohaji boys’ “That on or about the 28th of August, a Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Task Force on Recovery of Government Property in the person of Jasper Ndubuaku, who came to serve court processes at your Spibat residence, was viciously attacked and beaten to an inch of his life by the thugs and armed men on your order.” The court, in the summons, asked Okorocha to appear on 8th of October to answer to the charges. However, reacting to the summons, Okorocha said that the action was embarrassing and among the many actions taken by his successor to step on his toes. Okorocha said that the summons, coming less than 48 hours after the governor denied ordering for his arrest, had confirmed the resolve of his successor to clamp down on him, his family and business interests. The former governor, who denied the allegation of being always in Owerri, said that between May 29, 2019 when he left office and now, he had visited Imo only once, adding that he was not in Imo when the task force chairman took about 700 thugs to invade his home. Okorocha said that his successor appeared overwhelmed with his rising popularity since leaving office and described the court case as a very bad example.

It is very easy to detect a propaganda or billboard Governor by his photos. A working Governor hardly spends money on professional edited photos and doesn't merry with flag off of works but rather commissioning if he wants or at best save the money for more important issues. Hardly did we see professional photos of Heroes Square when Okorocha built it but rather it was ordinary people who took the available photos. 1 Like

That's why we have a government. When Okorocha was there he was always quick in response to road while waiting for FG. Ihedioha should start work and stop chasing shadows. |

Okorocha too smart for PDP. They first of all denied he built the schools as claimed then they've finally accepted the truth because they want to deceive the gullible. Eastern Palm University was started as permanent site of IMSU but all hell was let loose by these same people inciting people against building of the school but Okorocha as a wise man accepted and stopped the school but sort for private funding to continue and complete the project and makinf sure academic session kickstarted 2 years before leaving. Ihedioha cannot demolish it and the structure is already in Ogboko. |

Yampotatocarrot: Nothing is wrong with the bridge except projection. That crack was from external impact from probably a tractor at night done for political reasons. I've used the bridge and noticed that the elevation angle ended sharply thereby endangering anyone plying it in high speed. If you've used the Itu bridge while traveling from Uyo to Calabar you'd get a sense of the fault I'm talking about. So the flyover needs adjustment but it's so solid that loaded heavy duty vehicles ply it. |

NOC1: Okorocha is too lenient for my liking. The reason why many people believe the false stories about him is because he doesn't care to challenge them. He just laughs things off and forgive to an extent that Charly Boy had the gut to snatch mic from him publicly but he still went ahead to build an edifice in memory of Charly Boy's father. |

Unbiased1: That bridge from all indication might have been destroyed by Ihedioha himself. If he could still go ahead to demolish Freedom Square today after series of other destructions it is getting clearer now that many of the damaged Rochas Okorocha's projects was deliberate nefarious destruction. This is the latest destruction of the artificial rocks and waterfalls at Freedom Square. 1 Like

Unbiased1: Those red chairs are not exclusive to a particular place and is sold by the mall. Let's not take these petty politics serious because they're just distractions from the real issue which is development. EFCC can investigate Okorocha and punish him accordingly if gound guilty. Deep in my heart I believe he is innocent. 1 Like |

Nature warning Ihedioha to face governance and stop chasing shadows but somehow his response is that Okorocha caused it. Owerri has always experienced flooding like every other city but the difference is that once the rain stops it does not take up to 2 hours for everywhere to dry up. 2 Likes |

whirlwind7: Don't be deceived by the media hype. Those containers contain things removed from renovated properties belonging to Okorochas not Imo Government. Someone being a Governor does not make his belongings automatically that of the State and moreover they are likely going to be given out. Like I wrote earlier I am still waiting for new developments to update this thread but I've not seen because Ihedioha is yet to start work. Going by the momentum of the thread during Okorocha we can conclude that this thread will die like the Enugu thread which died with Ugwuanyi. While Chime like Rochas worked from day one till his last day and revolutionized infrastructure, Ugwuanyi seems more fixayed on propaganda to the extent of sponsoring self praise threads on Nairaland but the Enugu thread clearly distinguished Chime as outstanding. Ihedioha will also be a media Governor and will be worse than Ugwuanyi. 3 Likes |

Javierleon: Do not misinform people. Nothing fell anywhere but rather Imo entraco are dismantling and littering the streets for unknown reasons. To me this is a complete waste of public money to dismantle and destroy what Okorocha built for political reasons. Hopefully the expanded roads will also be reduced. 4 Likes |

Beyoncé isn't featured on that track. Burna did it solo and is the only other Artist with solo song up there apart from Beyoncé |
