lorretta u: truth is he didn't force the woman. She's old enough to know what's good for her. hi lorretta, in as much as i see reason with your argument, my bone of contention is the motive behind the whole sham. pls reason with me, what will make a man to sleep with a a widow and then proceed to his daughter, if not the feeling that he wields some control wand over them, even, including her son. the only reason things blew out of proportion is because the whole episode grazed the poor boy's ego when it blew out into the wild with an anathema stinging his face with shame. i wont be hasty to judge mother and daughter on the level playing field of logics about the way things go normally. that man was doing the abominable becausee of his own advantage, and his action precipitates poverty as being a crime against these helpless humanities that were supposedly his neighbours. |

Well, let's take back this story, and play it again, a bit more slowly, with our eyes onthe humane side.this man is a tipper driver, obviously with a lot of loose cash. How do I know this? He is in realestate, one of d most booming and thriving sector of d economy. And with all dat money and much foolishness, instead heading to some social circle to show off his shallmindedness and relieve his he-goatism, he chooses his nextdoor neighbour, a widow and his children, who very obviously r poor and helpless and very easily pinned down by any gesture dat can bring even a drop of respite.this guy has no conscience and is excited dat he cud get a full woman to yield to him. His conquest fuels his stupidity more. He has no room to question d morals of taking undue privilege of his neighbour and helpless widow, rather he continues to sponsor his foolishness by thinking there is nothing wrong to proceed to d daughter knowing he who dangles d carrot, dictates d dancesteps of d rabbit... The summary of d story? Malaria kills but nothing kills more like poverty!!! |

Absorbed by coy during NYSC. I am inclined to think that the timeframe is a function of how quickly your potential and useability can become visible to potential employers. that requires on your part to hone your skillset to a desirable level. it also requires you to interface that skillset to the kind of environments and workplace such such skillset is essential. Bottom line: dust your ass and get to work on yourself!!! 2 Likes |

Myself2: @myself2 Your comments lacks character. even if this country were to break into as many splinters such that your father's house became a soveignty, the very nature of the nigerian problem will still not be faraway from you. boko haram may be the name for the present challenge that is facing this country, the least line we can tow is to hold faith that we can, and we will go over it - and add this to the history of our victories - the very kind that has brought us this far. i am inclined to think that boko haram is not a problem of the north - as MEND is not a problem of the Niger Delta - as MASSOB is not a problem of the East. they collectively are a response to the failure of a subsystem. they all constitute a reactionary mechanism from an apparent lack of or poorly sustenable feedback system. And the bane of the system is the people - of which you are a part of. |

He was certainly a good man. And like most good men, he was grossly misunderstood. Yet still, I must say he is deserving of every honour due. We will miss him. Nigeria will miss him - even though we hardly ever know how to celebrate our own heroes. His days and his time will be remembered not for the things he did, nor for the things he could not do - he will be rememered for bringing a good heart into the seat of power of our country - and that for me is more than an achievement - given the wickedness we have known that has been oozing from that place as far back as we can remember. Now is the time to say goodbye. Now is the time to raise our salute to a man who was man enough to be human to humanity in the Nigerian space. He served his people well, and his country has a lot to show for it. Certainly. May his gently soul rest in peace. |
