Religion / Re: Are We Truly Not To Obey The Old Testament Laws Anymore? by ace1(m): 11:56am On Mar 10, 2019
alBHAGDADI:

The Bible laws aren't for Israel alone but for God's people worldwide. The ones Jesus changed are no longer followed by his disciples in that country.

Romans 10: 1 - 11

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from abovesmiley

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Hmmm.

Mouka is generally believed to be a lot better than Vitafoam. However, my mom has a Vita foam that is about 20yrs old she she uses and I've changed two moukas within 5yrs. What ever you decide, just buy a semi-autopedic(can't spell it). Its won't be so hard, nor too soft to wear and hurt your back when your sleep.

How much does the semi orthopedic cost?

Nothing to be worried about, except the mushin/olaniyi Vs Fadeyi clashes, especially if you live close to the railway line

The house is very close to Ikorodu road. Do you have any idea what the current security situation of the area is? I close really late and after facing traffic, I'll get home really late. Do you have an idea of what the power situation in the area is like?

Good evening,

I am about paying for a house in Fadeyi area of Lagos (Somewhere close to the Pedestrian Bridge). The agent, of course, has a lot of good things to say about the area but I need to hear from people living in/around the area to get a better picture. The house is good no doubt but I need to know what the light and security situation in the area is like. All the times I've been there, there was no light but the agent insists the light in the area is about 65% good. Please if you live in/around this area, help with the information I need

Pls friends, is zip code the same as sort code?

Zip codes are different from sort codes. Zip codes from my little knowledge has to do with location when sending stuff. Sort code on the other hand is used by banks to identify the bank and branch

It seems the problem is with your line. I think your best bet is to get a replacement sim. Ntel usually works with default settings without needing to input the APN.

Ntel support says my line is ok. I just have to dump the ntel network. This is the second time I'm subscribing and not being able to use it. Just ended up wasting my money

Does the Modem detect the NTEL network? Is the problem simply that the modem does not connect to the detected network?

It detects the ntel network but doesn't browse. I've tried using ntel and vox as apn but no success.

In settings, if I use static apn option, the modem keeps connecting and disconnecting; while using dynamic apn, the modem stays connected. But still, it doesn't browse.

I've also tried it on my iPhone and Lumia devices and it's still the same thing.

May I also state here that I've been using this same sim on my lumia before and it was working fine
I have contacted ntel severally and they keep saying from their checks there's nothing wrong with my line

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to setup my Huawei 4G LTE cube but it doesn't work. I've used ntel as apn using static apn. I've also tried using dynamic apn but it still doesn't work. I've contacted their support but they haven't been helpful in anyway. I have an active subscription that has been wasting for days.

Please if you are successfully using ntel on your Huawei 4G LTE Cube, please let me know how u set it up
Crime / My Friends Encounter With An Annoying Female Police Officer by ace1(m): 8:57pm On Jan 13, 2017
Below is the encounter my friend had with an annoying female police officer today.

Ok so i was driving in a 'bumper to bumper' type of traffic at Rumuokwuta Junction today.

Suddenly i heard a loud crash and thinking someone had hit my car, i stopped to investigate the sound only to see this Police Officer (Pictures below) by the car with a stick. She screamed 'Didn't you see me stopping you?'. I replied, 'No officer i didn't see you. The traffic is very tight. Is that why you would hit the car like that? You could damage it'. To this she replied, 'Na this scrap you dey talk? Abi you dey get mouth because you carry this ash$%o wey you wan go f#45k inside motor?'. I was taken aback as i really did not see how this had gotten to the level of accusing a civilian of soliciting the services of a prostitute from a traffic issue. She kept hitting the car on different parts and yelling profanities until i brought out my phone to take her photo. She reacted by hitting at the phone and my face through my window. the phone got damaged during this encounter. My friend in the car simply said, 'Dude please just ignore this and go to your office'.

My questions is, 'If this lady represents an honorable body like the Nigerian Police, how can the general public respect and cooperate with them when there actually is a problem for the Police?' Personally if there was a traffic issue that i was guilty of, being that i was in that tight traffic, i should have been easily caught and punished. Resorting to accusing me of Soliciting the services of a prostitute, damaging my car and phone was over board in my opinion. How can we be better if we don't start with ourselves?

What I need to know is the logic.

Nairaland / General / Problem With Nairaland Login On My Mobile Phone by ace1(m): 11:14am On Sep 28, 2016
I've recently started having issues accessing Nairaland.

I can only view the Nairaland home page without issues on my mobile phone if I use this link www.nairaland.com/?m. Accessing the home page using www.nairaland.com most times results in a error (We can't reach this page).

Also, I can't successfully login to my Nairaland Account using my phone. After entering my login details, I'm redirected to the home page www.nairaland.com which doesn't display (gives "We can't reach this page" error) sometimes. If the home page displays, everything seems like I've successfully logged in; but when I click a link or visit another page, it goes back to me browsing the site in guest mode. If I try visiting the url of my followed topics, I get redirected to the login page.

I noticed the login issue started about 2-3 months ago. Before then, I could login and access site features without any issues. For the homepage issue, I noticed it sometime in december 2015 but I have nairaland.com/?m as a bookmark on my phone so it never really bothered me. I use a Lumia running WP10 and I've tried in on both Microsoft Edge and UC Browser but I'm having the same Issues.

Everytime I login, I get an email telling me I just logged in to my nairaland account. I've cleared my browser cache and history but nothing changed. It also should be noted that I'm not under any ban and everything works fine when I browse using my computer.

I'm talking of Nutty Pin's "Living it up". This reminded me of the likes of Def o Clan, Thoroughbreds, Swat Root, Trybesmen, Komoblastic etc. The time when Naija hip hop wasn't about "the way you whine", "the way she shake" and chanting gibberish
