You can do it on your own but if you would like to use an agent , it costs you more. From 2k to 6k extra depending on the lawyer.i will advise you ring the immigration dept if you have any problem completing the forms and make you check your checklist , those document requested will go a long way . Cheers

jennykadry: Mcdon is married already so that makes him not eligible for prospective fiancé visa. He however is eligible for partners visa

@ mcdon, what you need and eligible for is the partner visa 309/100 which enable you to live in Australia indefinitely . First you will be issued the 309 then you proceed to Australia while waiting for the 100 which is your Permanent Residency card. The waiting period for 309 is 9-12 months while the PR is 24months from the date you applied for the visa. I am currently in Melbourne on 309 Visa,if you have any further questions you can get them coming I will try as much as possible to assist with my own little experience .

manucho:

thanks so much bro and did u use any agent cos my wife is wants us to use an agent or consultant in australia but im not in support of using an agent here or there

Yes I used an agent , it makes your application perfect. The agents will advise you on what to do to have a clear chance of getting the visa, once you miss something out ...that might cost you the visa so just look for a good migration agent over here in Oz and if you still need more info I am willing to share my experience .cheers mate

Where does your wife lives in Oz

manucho: Pls can anyone tell me how long does a nigerian police
character certificate valids for cos i read from the australian
immigration websites that its valid for a year if its for
immigration purpose but ours in Nigeria they write 3months on it after u get the police report. I need una advise pls..wetin i wan use am for pass 3months paroles ooo cos na partner visa. thks and dont hesitate to help a brother

Get it ASAP it will make ur application faster , I submitted mine with my 309 application June last year and I got my grant April this year , the only thing you can put on hold is the medicals . They will request it after the security check has been cleared and your relationship has been confirmed . Did my medicals December so the waiting period is just 4 months after medicals because of the backlog at HOC or MOC , they handle the medical clearance . Hope this answers your query . Cheers mate

You dont need a trasit visa...you will be transfered to a melbourne bound plane in Doha. Just prepare for the jolly ride from doha to melbourne. You will enjoy the experience on that leg but its gonna be a long one(around 13hrs).

Thanks , any need for yellow card since I have been cleared medically before my visa approved.coming on 2nd of may , where do you reside ?

Programming / Re: Uh? Learning Programming With Phone?! by aceblackpearl: 11:39am On Jul 25, 2012
abubaka101: Same thing am doing!
Though its hard, but it keeps me busy!
I started learning it with my Nokia 5130 Xpress music phone in March, and so far I've learnt: HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, HTML DOM, JQUERY (still learning), XML (still learning), ASP(still learning).
I like to follow the right pattern/procedure, so when am done with jQuery, I hope to learn (then master) as much as I can about PHP/ASP.NET/.NET, before the end of the year.
How I do mine is; I write them down in a notebook (its really hard, considering the text indentation, symbols and tabs), all the topics/chapters/examples.
When writing, I make sure I write them correctly and the way I can understand it so I'll easily remember what is what.
Then I copy the examples I've written into my Jtext lite editor, then I view them with my browser (some parts of the code don't work well on the browser, so I try them again on a Windows Mobile 6.5, which I prefer when testing code/file or my sis laptop, though its not always available).
Gradually, am able to learn as much as I can about programming.
I don't want to rush it/just it them down, I also learn to write them and arrange them for my understanding.
My advise to people is that, if they want to really learn programming, it takes alot of determination, "loneliness", focus and the ability to not get bored!
But to be honest, it really depends on whether or not you really want to learn it, and that you're not just learning just to "feel among"!

Kindly help me too ,want to start with HTML.any link or materials?
