Naira is gaining, but prices keep rising. Never seen a thing like this in my life. Just yesterday, I bought a can of Malta Guinness for N500. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Leaving your husband to become a side chick to a married man is c. razy sha. But at the end of the day, no price is too much to pay for "freedom" as long as everyone shuns hypocrisy. One thing about breakup is that there would always be a reason, trust me. ![]() 3 Likes |

iSense247: Funny. See the list of the most individualistic countries in the world. 1. Australia 2. Canada 3. Germany 4. The Netherlands 5. The United States Nigeria is not in any way individualistic. We are a nosy people, never willing to take responsibility for our misbehaviours and carelessness. if they're not blaming co-tenants, they will create threads blaming landlords, etc. Think about it, how many times have you seen Nigerians abroad complaining about their landlords? Many don't even know the owner of the house they live in. That's how individualistic people do. Over here, everyone is trying to get into other people's business, not because they really care, but to be sure you're not doing better than them. Fake people. Waking up every day to fight over borehole contribution or NEPA contribution is what many consider as "having caring neighbours." LOL. Crazy country. Some said "nobody go sleep for the compound if nobody open the gate." Can these people try such in a saner, individualistic country? 19 Likes 5 Shares |

labake1: ...and who told you your beauty can keep a man or prevent him from cheating?? Nothing in this world can prevent a man who wants to cheat from cheating. However, there are certain identifiers and pointers, but will women ever listen?? In fact, it is "criminal" for a show biz man to not cheat. Why would you demand faithfulness from Davido? If you meet the number of women he meets daily, including those in his music videos, you no go cheat? Men cheat a lot, but show biz people are a rare breed. If they don't cheat on you, who will? When men want faithfulness or a faithful woman for marriage, they don't tag video vixens, Nollywood actresses or Big Brother Naija women (call it stereotype, but that's the reality). You'll always find men on Nairaland, demanding virginity and all. You all (women) should raise the moral standard too. It is not everyday steeze or money. If we have more women demanding virginity from men, things would be better. I mean, see how men are generally sitting up and calling for paternity test lately. What are you (women) doing in return? Telling a cheating man to stop cheating is already too late. An effort in futility. When there are no known incentives for the male gender's morality, expect nothing but absolute unfaithfulness. 19 Likes 6 Shares |

awesomeJ: Nice, but too early to determine capital gains. It should be the value of the Naira in February 2024 against February 2025. If the CBN sustains the tempo for another 10-11 months, then investors can gain even more. 4 Likes |

...but why do people turn threads like this into tribal arguments? I opened this thread hoping to read very productive and enlightening content, like costs of owning a Chicken Republic franchise, location choices (which I already know, by the way). But, damn, I've only come here to waste my time. So, we have full-grown adults who would rather discuss people based on certain affiliations and non-affiliations than talk about things that would benefit them. They are happy knowing that the owner of Chicken Republic is Yoruba (or the owner of Air Peace is Igbo). Whether or how they'll ever be able to own a franchise is not you people's business, and some of you are already in your 40s and 50s. Many are without jobs, and they're unaware that they can actually develop a delivery business proposal for partnership with some of these restaurant chains. But when you sleep on threads like this, it kills your creative and innovative skills. You can't spend all day arguing Yoruba vs. Igbo and expect to amount to anything in life. 1 Like |

See as man dey hyperventilate about a 45-minute traditional wedding ceremony 😪😄😄😄 The only thing you need to complete your point right now is a wedding gown and a bridesmaid for yourself. Everyday I'm hoping Tinubu will place a heavy tax on you all. N40 million on publicly held wedding ceremonies. For burials, N60 million. |

oranget: Not exactly. I don't discuss faith matters with non-Christians. And if you say that you're a Christian, you will need to prove it before I engage. That way, we both won't be wasting our time on a fruitless discussion. |

This is a senseless thread. Leaving the gate open or not wouldn't have saved the girl.. so what exactly is the association between the lady and the neighbours?? There is also no association between the late girl's issue and your narration about your husband. You said your husband called your neighbour, isn't? Why didn't he hit the gate instead from his location? Your husband called, the Abuja guy called no one. It's important to understand the culture in your neighborhood and do your best to align. Leaving your apartment at night without a phone or key is the height of irresponsibility. You said he packed out of the apartment? Smh, pesin wey suppose dey jail for knacking somebody's daughter only to "throw her" out alone at night to die. If you need people to open gate for you, go and rent an apartment, where everyone pays a token monthly to a gateman or a housekeeper. And if you want free access, there are many apartments without a gate. Just explain your stup!dity to a good agent, you'll get what you deserve. 20 Likes 3 Shares |

Esthered: 🤔🤔 Hmmn.. The general notion about the rising rates of divorce and separation suggests that most of our parents had better marriages. But I also believe in the principle of exemptions, * in rare cases. 1 Like |

FOUR BRUTAL truths no one will tell you, but I will list them anyway: 1. You're not likely to have a greater marriage than your parent's. Think about it, we all claim that marriages of the previous generations are better. Isn't? Most people believe in the law of exemption only when they're personally involved. 2. The marriage between two f00ls will last longer than the marriage between two equal and calculative love birds 3. If you spend too much on your wedding, that celebration and fun fair will likely be the happiest moment/day of your marriage. Everything else will begin to tank from that day Iffahear say you keep up ke 😅 4. Your in-laws have a majority stake in your marriage whether you believe it or not. The longer you grow in marriage, the lower their stake. Prior to your wedding, they hold about 90% stake, 10 years after and all things being equal, that stake should drop to 55%. But they're never going below 50%. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Dem don use una reserve subsidize exchange rate in order to shame "Obidients". "Sell your dollar," bla bla bla, as if we don't know our history or how we got here in the first place. More so, a government that fails to react or utter a word on Fisayo's 16-day exposé on corruption within the Nigerian Customs is the same government that people expect to fix Nigeria. LOL. Na to activate "siddon-look" mode, while preparing to campaign aggressively for BAT in the next election. ![]() ![]() 4 Likes |

That was a near-death or dying experience, not death per se. Without the intervention at the hospital, you would have transitioned to complete cessation of life (death). The very second you had that collision, your soul was struggling to leave, but it couldn't probably because some of your vital organs were still active. That being you saw riding home on the bike after the collision wasn't you or your soul. If your soul had left you, you would have seen another lifeless body before you picked up the bike. The best way to explain your experience is as if you were dreaming from the hospital bed. It wasn't an instant thing at all. The bike riding incident happened hours later, but since the brain was completely inactive, my guess is that there was no way you would have been able to process your dream (my view). This life is 90% spiritual and 10% physical. Even the 10% has yet to be fully explored, so take my explanations with a pinch of salt. 4 Likes |

God1000: 1.9% is a great number actually, because the Bible confirmed all this you're saying. If 50% of Israel's population turn to God today, then everything written in the Bible is nothing but lies. In fact, if 35% turn to God before Christ's 2nd coming, I will turn to atheism. Israel's arrogance, their desire to go to war, their religious practices, and hatred towards the person of Jesus confirmed everything written in the Bible. You are the ignorant one. In your attempt to mock Christians, you are further reinforcing the Bible. 4 Likes |
