Stop speaking empty English. There is no justification anywhere for holding anyone without trial, access to a doctor, access to a lawyer, access to a court or access to his/her family for any extended period.

You think so.
Politics / Re: SSS’ Threatens To Kill Ex-detainee For ‘exposing Illegal Detention (Pic)’ by ade002: 3:55pm On Oct 27, 2019
But to say the truth their are cases that cannot be resolved easily and justifiable reasons to hold suspects for a long period of time. Particularly suspected terrorist. the question is : can we trust our security agencies to make such decisions and how do we checkmate their excesses.
That is why we have courts .however we all know that our laws have a lot of loopholes..

Back to the issue : it will be a case of I say you say... If the threat is real making this info public may mitigate concerns temporarily.

We speak not for the past but for the future..

Kudos to the american military they only injured a dog during the operation.

Local..when we no even trust ourselves. Takes of trusting what is been made in our country... you are on your own if you trust local product

We must fail before we succeed. For one to appreciate success he must learn from others: failure included. Do you know how many failures NASA had before getting to the moon. To day we depend on them for space tech.
Lets patronize our own , criticize our mistakes and improve on our product.

i want to go into web development as a full stack so which programming language should i start with?
And between node.js and django which one is much better for server side in web development.
Can i also learn programming all alone? If yes! How do i start and the tools needed?

Start with the basic html5 css3. No short cuts. No frameworks.. just learn the tags /codes and try building a complete frontend project with it. Then start javascript you can use javascript to develop backends with node js you can also use javascript knowledge for either react js , vue js or angular js . any of these three can be used for frontend dev. or just stick with bootstrap. you will also need some database knowledge. I will suggest mysql.
I feel node is easier to understand and setup i.e if you understand javascript. Django can generate some errors that may be a bit difficult to resolve. Node is is not good for apps that do a lot of computation i.e cpu intensive apps but python is good for such
Note :you will need some knowledge of OOP and web deployment to various platforms.
Programming is all about solving problems and you should be able to stick long enough on any problem to find a solution.

Have to say this man has a fantastic background and deserves his current position. He is really competent to run this country either as an aid or .......
Leaders are as good as their aides. Its clear his strength is politics which he has demonstrated so far. One can now understand how the APC has survived thus far. They do have competent hands. The game may not be fair but thats politics..

You spend money to make money. This project is very important. I believe the time line should be shorter and it should be well funded.
We need to look into the future. Else we will remain economic slaves forever who knows we may lead the world into full scale space exploration..mining

I think I have the same temprament INTF but I have always liked girls that are totally opposite to me.. Kind of works if both parties understand their strenghts.
I rarely talk with people even my close family but she knows everyone and keeps contact on my behalf.
On the other hand I always seem to have a solution to most of our problems and plan ahead. But we still have issues.. I rarely share my thoughts while she is always worried about what others think of her

Programming / What Are The Downsides Of Being A Programmer by ade002: 9:51pm On Oct 13, 2019
To those who may understand

I have being coding for years.. But lately I observe that am becoming more of a recluse. I go to work come home eat, code and sleep .. work, code, eat, sleep and so the circle continues.
It may interest you to know that my job has little or nothing to do with coding. I just code for the fun of it repeating projects or looking for challenging ones.. Once am 80% done I lose interest and start looking for another project, programming language or framework

Below are some programming languages I have used to develop, elibraries, store manifest, accounting apps, hospital apps, school apps etc..

I started with excel then dabbled with visual basic before heading into web . HTML and css. Javascript took me a long time to grasp but no sooner had I gotten the hang of it I had to add jquery and its various flavours to really enjoy web development. Soon I met Bootstrap and speed of frontend design rapidly increased.

My first backend language was php with mysql: worked with it for several years. I used frameworks like zend and laravel but really did not like them . they seem to limit one and create unnecessary head aches. So as soon as I mastered OOP with PHP i decided to build my own mvc backend framework . which I did with good success.
Python was next . to say the truth Its quite easy to learn and very flexible. I started with pyqt framework . building an image editing app using sqlite as db and also worked on some data management (lovely). Then I tried rebuiliding some of my old projects with django then djangorestframework. To those trying to pick a programming language to learn.. python is the best.

For the last year and a half I have been on react, angular, node. Built my first mobile with react native. But it seems learning does not end.

Had to use a lot of devops recently google cloud, aws, kubernetes, heroku, chef etc

However am still eyeing my first love c++. always been scared of it though its the first language I read through the entire book thats 10 yrs ago without developing one single project with it.

Youtube and stackoverflow have been my best friends but now I think I really need to start making money from these knowledge and GET A LIFE

It's basically all about solving problems which is = to Money.

Its like playing chess.. Have been doing it for the love of it.
Solving complex problems but never using it for anything..
Once a problem is solved I get bored..and start looking for another.. I dont think I have used the same process twice..

Nice sport .. Interesting to watch. But we need to improve it. Make it colorful and attractive for the world stage..

Hopefully a state in this country will invest into it. Promote it.. Who knows it may be a source of revenue in future.

The tourism ministry has a lot to do..
