Nairaland / General / Gsm Operators: Another Woes On The Realization Of Dreams by adenade(m): 2:13am On Sep 18, 2009

Couple of years ago, i heard one man blaming his network operator for his misfortune. I approached him and said to him that his network operator can be a blocking stone on his career, that maybe, the job he was supposed to be called for was not his, that he will surely get another one.
But to my greatest suprise, a friend sat for an apttude test, during the recruitment program of the oceanic bank, passed the test and the day he was to be called for the interview, the network failed to connect his line. a txt was sent, but the txt came about three good days after the interview processes
Politics / Who Is A Failure? The Founding Fathers Or The Present Politicians by adenade(m): 11:16pm On Sep 12, 2009
It had been argued times without numbers amongst Nigerians across the nation that the founding fathers of this great country of ours are the failures, that they lack the technicalities to foresaw the Nigeria of today.

It had also, been said that these present politicians are the failures as result of their inability to handle things correctly and that they are also dooming this country simply because they just don't care.

So, Nairalanders, what is your take?

@bialegend
You should add that you are going silly nuts because your so called peaceful religion, islam which is supposed to be teaching tolerance, non violence, peace and love amongst it's blind followers according to their "mouth off" of islam being a peaceful religion has resorted to killing Igbos and other ethnic groups in your northern enclave due to their ridiculous beliefs. Ewu ONE nigeria. Deeal with what you hypocrites created. The mess continues. Just wait until Igbo person gets to be your president, then you all shall see what it's called to mess up a country. Una never see anything sef

Initally i thought people like you are no where to be found in this country anymore, despite all the problems
faced by the nigerians, you can still open your fingers wide and type those stupidious belief of yours
for all the nairalanders to read. Let me tell you one good fact, a very good citizen of this country believes in unity.
I assumed you must have read series of report of some western countries like South and North Korea and America and
the rest of them, I strongly believe in coming together and fight a common cause rather than blaming ourselves for the
failures of our fathers.
Infact, the games played in the past by our leaders is that if we leave, they will be there (thier children).
BIALENGEND, i am not condemning your statement, that is what you believe and that is what you are made to stand for, but believe
me, nothings good would come out as a result of hatred for one another.
Politics / Re: Oshiomhole Presents Three Jeeps To Ogbemudia Former Edo State Governor by adenade(m): 5:58am On Sep 04, 2009
THERE IS ONE PARTICULAR THING THAT HAS BEEN MY PRIDE ALL THE WHILE AND THAT IS THE FACT THAT EVERY NIGERIANS BOTH HOME AND ABROAD HAS WHAT I CALL ' A TOUCH OF INTELECTUAL PROPERTY'

The politics of our counrty can not and will neva be understood by anyone outside the nigeria border, be it here on the africa continent or somewhere there.

People and many nigerians do say things that at times baffles me alot, there is what is called tradition and norms of every society, nation etc. but one that that despises me a lot is when i see some one comparing our system with other form of systems outside there.

SEE, all we just need to do is just to come together as it were when this beautiful country of ours was newly laid and formed and belive me, EVERY OTHER CITIZENS OF THIS WORLD, AND OTHER COUNTRIES AND CONTINENT OF THIS WORLD WILL FOLLOWS US.

Education / Re: Study Abroad Or Study In Nigeria? by adenade(m): 5:23am On Sep 04, 2009
Yea, i think a lot had been said in the past that studying abroad gives you an ability to think like the westerners, well exposed and also, assumed to gives one a better understanding of thing. but on a more serious note, nigeria factors requires one to stay and study in the country. A lot of problem faced by the nigerian is as a result of all these abroad studied politicians and so call leaders of our generation does not know what to do, when to do things right because majority of the courses and virtually all the so called case study examined when they are there lacks what i called the nigeria factors.
sad
