IamDelilah:I hardly join issues on Nairaland but I am afraid I have to comment on this. Young lady if you are not buying the car I think you had better not comment. I am an owner of cars and know what it worth I think your comment is very unfair to the OP. One day you will own a car and I am sure you will not welcome this kind of statement when u decide to put up for sale online. Always think about how you will feel if such statement is made if u are in the shoe of d seller. If you are not buying pls don't spoil his market. 4 Likes |

(CNN)The grinding conflict between the Nigerian state and Boko Haram insurgents has exacted a devastating human and economic toll over the past six years. But for Nigeria's first car manufacturer, the crisis may represent an opportunity. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recently announced a partnership deal with Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM), which will see the company supply spare parts for jets conducting airstrikes against the insurgents. "The ingenious effort by IVM is instrumental to the continued operation of the Alpha Jets," NAF spokesperson Ayodele Famuyiwa said of the deal. "IVM helped to save the day when help was not forthcoming from abroad." Friends in high places The air force reached out to Innoson in 2015, as it faced increasing difficulty with the import of vital parts such as brake pads. The deal was struck after a series of site visits around the country. "The army came to our factories in many states," says Innoson spokesperson Cornel Osigwe. "They saw we had the capacity." First ever 'Made in Ghana' cars are built to survive anything 'Made in Ghana' cars are built to survive anything IVM, part of the Innoson Group owned by billionaire Innocent Chukwuma, started producing commercial vehicles such as coaches in 2007, before launching a range of private cars in 2014 -- the first to carry a "Made in Nigeria" seal. The offshoot company now employs over 7,000 people and has capacity to produce 10,000 cars a year. It is hoped that the partnership with NAF could help the business expand further. "The attention is providing a big boost for the company," says Osigwe. Innoson has gained several new clients since the deal, according to the spokesperson, including the National Assembly. Leading politicians such as Senator Ben Murray-Bruce have offered strong support. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/03/23/africa/innoson-nigeria-jet-parts/index.html |

Unfortunately this came a little late. So many people will wake up as early as they use to, hurry down to school or work only to discover there is a public holiday |

It was announced a few moments ago that Oyo government has declared tomorrow Friday 04/03/2016 a public holiday so.as to allow as many people as possible to attend the coronation ceremony of the new Olubadan of Ibadan. Please take note. |

58 views and no reply! I am afraid your offer don't seem attractive enough. Very few businessmen will like to partner a profitable business with a stranger. Godfather take your time to learn the nitty gritty of poultry farming then start from there. Poultry business is very tricky and sometimes even veterans get their fingers burnt. |

The story featured on Splash FM Ibadan this morning when OAP Edmund Obilo narrated d story n some interviews. I think this is a litmus test for the hierarchy of NPF and the IGP himself. Nigerians are keenly watching this one. we want to see if its going to be business as usual or there will be a change for once in the NPF |

I was born, bred and not only buttered but also "amalad, gbegirid and ewedud" in Ibadan. So I say it all sense of responsibility that I know Ibadan well. I hereby challenge Mr Mu'azu Ibrahim to mention the $9billon starch company in Ibadan, otherwise he should go perpetrate his lies elsewhere 1 Like |

The road to love is narrow that two can not walk it unless they become one. Often the most important feelings are the most difficult to express and that is why I can not find enough words to express my love for this forum and all its members . Let me just say I LOVE YOU, NAIRALAND AND ALL NAIRALANDERS. Wishing you all a wonderful Valentine's day. |

"Olowo kan laarin oloshi mefa.....oloshi no gbogbo won "( a rich man in the mist of six pauper is only the seventh pauper). President Buhare is an angel in the mist of demons, and that makes him another demon. I believe he has good intentions and plans for this country but lost it all the day he decided to pitch His tents with Nigerian political demons thinking he could outsmart them. Today he is a victim hunted by his political folly. I am patiently waiting to see how he would maneuver his way out of this quagmire. The devils resident in his government/party will continue to ill-advice him like they did right from Obansajo through Jonathan's days to ensure their personal gains are achieved 3 Likes |

What a shame!!! If our "unduely" elected undistinguished senators and dishonourable Honourable can throw chairs, exchange punches and attack/assault themselves openly with knives and cutlass in the presence of pupils and national/international TVs, then who are Amaju and Chris Giwa? . In a sane clime both men ought to be arrested and prosecuted. |

The dream of most women is to one day settle down with a man she adores and who will bring her happiness. This report shows that Cossy is no exception after all . If the man pictured above is the man to make her happy, then all I can say is to wish her the best of luck. Cossy , it took you this while to make this decision, pls everything humanly possible to keep the marriage when you eventually sign the dotted lines and become Mrs Cossy Orjiakor..... |

I for one never trusted Jumia, Konga or any Nigerian online store. Even when they post either 0 or 100% discount. Their only usefulness to me is to keep customers abreast of range of likely price of products. There is nothing I saw on Julia/Konga which I didn't buy at least 20% less than their quoted price offline. Between Last December and now I bought Deep freezer, Washing machine and Grinder/blender all at prices lower than their quoted prices. BUYERS BEWARE #OnlinestoresrippingNigerians 1 Like |
