Business / Re: Games That Nigerian Banks Play To Rip Their Customers by Adeomoayo(m): 11:58am On Jul 28, 2009
I'm not canvasing or adverting for any banks here, but I think GTB is the best for now. No dubious charges whatsoever. 1st Bank will charge even for withdrawal slip, too bad. CBN boss should please come to our aid as quick as possible.
Politics / Re: Onovo Assures Of Crime-free Society by Adeomoayo(m): 11:24am On Jul 28, 2009
"How can I say what I think till I see what I say"-E.M. Forster. I wish Onovo could tell the masses new things for we've tired of hearing same things over and over again. For him to promise to continue the good works of his predecessors alone makes him a failure even before his confirmation. Let's pray for a man like Fasola as a president, this nation will start crawling and before we know what's going on the nation will start walking. Let's continue praying someday God'll deliver us from the hands of these tyrants that parade themselves as leaders.
Politics / Re: What Can We Nigerians Do To Make Nigeria Great ? by Adeomoayo(m): 10:15pm On Dec 14, 2008
To make Nigeria Great, deal with CURRUPTION,
Canvass capital purnishment for currupt public office holder, review our tax system, meaningful FOI bill and develop infrastructure, then we'll be on our way o greatness

who and who will stop curuption here in this country? we should prepare ourselves for the main task ahead of us. And what is the task i'm talking about? I'm talking about revolution, without it, we are going nowhere in this country.
Literature / Re: John Grisham Fan Club by Adeomoayo(m): 8:21pm On Dec 07, 2008
cool Sammilla, good job.
I'm one of John Grisham fans back home here. I think he's one of the best writers in the world if not the best. I started his work with the firm, since then, I visited Yaba on regular bases to buy any Grisham work I can lay my hand on. He's nothing but the best. I've read seventeen out twenty books the guy has written.

I think A time to kill, The Client, The firm, The street lawyer, and The partner are the best but

I'll give the final best to THE CLIENT, the book blow me off completely, I must confess.

The innocent man, Playing for pizza, and The appeal are the ones I'm yet to read.

But I think every nairalanders should look for SECOND LADY BY IRVING WALLACE. The book is simply the best of Irving Wallace. I'll give it to SHALL WE TELL THE PERSIDENT BY JEFFERY ARCHER as one of his best. I love Sheldon, Jakie Collins too.

Well I see this to be interesting, I don't understand how some are not even saying encouraging words instead saying some nononsensetuff. We are all affected by this no matter the location of everyone of us, We are ororiginsf Nigeria and we should know its our home even if its like the home is shaking, to make it stand still its what we now have to figure-out.

I wish we can have more people that shows interest for a better Nigeria instead saying words that makes no sense like "TEA" . Some people are dieing and some are still in deep poverty while our politicians don't care, just keep stealing the money and saying bubullshitso their citizens and its so unbelievable that Nigeria could endure this much without reacting to the stop this politicians from more damage and distruction of Nigeria as a whole,

This is a world that filled with different characters with different characteristics. And so far we don't wear the same faces so our opinion must varies. But I think revolution is what we need here in this country. It has been done in Ghana, USA, France, to mention a few, if we have revolution here in this country we'll be able to start afresh.
Politics / What Can We Nigerians Do To Make Nigeria Great ? by Adeomoayo(m): 10:37pm On Dec 04, 2008
All Nigerians home and abroad, it's pertinent here to ask ourselves this question if we really want to make this country a great one, or else, all of us will keep pointing accuse fingers to ourselves without moving forward. Let's start from somewhere and see what we can achieve rather than complaining about being mislead us by our leaders. Let's come up with way(s) of moving this country of ours to her promise land for we can't continue to be living like a slave in the land that full of good human power and abundant mineral resource.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Seeks N59 billion Loan To Build New Satellites by Adeomoayo(m): 9:36pm On Dec 04, 2008
shocked I think we Nigerian need more explanation on the first satellites and how it got lost, and on who and who are in charge of it before they we'll be asking for another billions of Nara that will disappear to the thin air like the first one satellites. It's high time we learn to be prudent in our spending. Not until our leaders are accountable for their actions nothing meaningful will be achieve in this country of ours.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea (1) Versus Arsenal (2) by Adeomoayo(m): 8:32pm On Nov 30, 2008
shocked I really don't know what to say but I must say something. First, congrat to all Arsenal fans. I really don't know what Solari's thinking when he removed Mike and replaced him with Maluda. I think he owes all Chelsea an explanation.
Blues for life.

Politics / Re: Lagosians: Is Fashola The Expected Messiah? by Adeomoayo(m): 8:35am On Nov 28, 2008
Mr. Governor is trying his best but alot still have be done specially in the area of water because if NEPA sorry power holding is telling us thir real name by holding light, let |Lagos state government gives us water. By the time we shower like four to five time day will eventually break. If truely he want to make Lagos a mage city. Our tap in my compound didn't run forjust three days, and people in my compound assume that something's wrong with the tap. So, they agreed to callk plumber to fix the tap. After several hours of sweating, Mr. plumber looks up and says-nothing is wrong with your tap. that cant be true- we chorused. He peers back and forth between us and the tap, then says-only that water is not running. A nine years old boy looked at thge faces of everybody expecting somebody to say something, and when he realizes that nobody's saying anything, he shakes his head and says-that's impossible! You're not telling me trhat water has not be running for four days in Lagos? Well, nothing is impossible- I answered. So, how is the governor trying to make Lagos a mega city if water ceased to run for four whole days? I'm day dreaming that at least his father should be able to answer his son question, but when I realised that my dream will not come to pass, I summon courage and answered his question- one step at a time, Emma. Then, constant running of water from our taps should be his no one priorities- said Emma, nodding at the time. Again nobody says anything, then, I steeped forwards and said- I share your opinion. He peers directly into my eyes, grins and says-Uncle Ade, can you please pass this messages across to the governor. His words caught me unaware but I quickly regained my composure and said- How? I know your system is connected- the boy said. I looked calmly away- hum, hum! was the only words that came out my mouth. Since then, I've been thinking how to pass across this little boy's message to the governor. I thank God today for giving me this opportunity to at least deliver this message here. If the boy ask me either I have delivered his message, I'll confidently say yes. A lot have been done by the governor tey more have to be done, and I think the issue of water should not be taken with hand of levity. Is Fashola the expected Messiah? well, you never can tell, let's keep on watching, time will tell. Eko o ni baje.
