Good evening my honorable colleagues. I feel I have to share this testimony to encourage everyone who has an ungoing TRV which is either delayed or even rejected.

I submitted a TRV application for my sister on 22nd May,2022 for fall 2022 admission at Conestoga. Her program was a one year postgraduate certificate. Fast forward we did not get any update from IRCC . I therefore sent a number of GC notes request to IRCC but to no avail.
In November 2022, I forwarded a request to withdraw the TRV application but still there was no response from IRCC. So we just forgot about Canada and further declined her admission at Conestoga.
Surprisingly on 13th February,2023, She had a request for her medicals. We just couldn't believe it. After, the medicals, we had a request letter for an updated admission letter. We quickly reapplied for another program and God been so good we had the admission in four days time. We submitted this new admission letter and on the 1st of March ,2023, we had a PPR.
It took almost a year for a TRV application to be approved. This can just be the doing the Lord.
No matter your situation here, never give up and keep trusting God for a miracle and he will definitely come through for you.

Hi,

1. I will advise that he contacts Centennial and discuss with them. The admission might be reinstated or deferred till a subsequent term.

2. He can't bring that to Canada. He will need to reapply for a new study permit if Centennial doesn't work.

Thanks for this. He says the program is offered only for fall section. Can he apply for a different program at centennial. In that case, can he use the same visa?

A new DLI means a new study permit application. Has he tried contacting the school? If yes, can't he defer or apply for winter for the SAME COURSE.
Thanks for the response. He contacted the school but he is yet to get a feedback from them

Good day colleagues, pls I need your advice on this. My cousin had admission at centennial College earlier this year. He was required to make fee deposit somewhere June but he couldn't make it due to lack of funds. He applied for the study permit with was approved.
A few days After getting his passport, he received a letter from centennial college that his admission has been revoked.
Now our challenge is:
1. Do we need to inform IRCC about this recent change, (the fear is maybe his visa too can be revoked if we do)
2. He also applied for a new school and had been offered admission. Can he bring that to Canada since is a different school with a different DLI .
With these questions lingering in our minds, we are not sure if he can run into any immigration issues. Please let me know your thoughts on that.

I want to ask, did he really use a fraudulent account statement? Who provided the SOA, himself or the agent?

Yes. My friend says the agent did use fraudulent SOA but he was not privy to that.

Hello good evening guys. Please I need your counsel on the issue below.
My friend had PhD admission at University of Alberta. He used the services of an agent for the TRV application. Initially, all seemed to be going well because he had medical request and subsequent PPR.
He was looking forward to get his passport when shoot he got a refusal letter from IRCC stating that the bank statement of his sponsor submitted as part of his application was fraudulent. Hence, he has been banned for 5 years. As we speak now, the passport is still with IRCC.
Please what is the best way to address this issue?
And how can this ban be lifted from his application?

Dear colleagues I had my study visa last year and due to Covid restrictions I decided to go to Canada this year. I booked my flight for August 28th, 2021. On August 9th,2021 IRCC forward a mail to me requesting that I renew my medicals since it has expired. I therefore renewed the test On August 12th,2021. I raised a webform and added my e medical report but had no reply as at now. My document status still reads 'invalid. ' Since my status had not been updated I have rescheduled my flight date to September 13th,2021.
On August 30th,2021 I went to the panel clinic to confirm whether my results had been forwarded to IRCC and to my shock I learnt they forwarded the results just a few days back ie August 26th 2021( that is 2 weeks since I took the test). I just couldn't believe my ears because I requested for a copy of my lab results and realized all was OK and actually these results were ready even on August 13th,2021. I was really furious and questioned them why it took them that long to forward my results and they had also lied to me (**I had called them earlier and was informed my results had been forwarded to IRCC on the August 13th,2021 but these were all Lies).
I have also contacted the Canadian embassy in Ghana on how they can help in updating my status from 'invalid' so I can meet my new flight date. They replied and said I should just add my e certificate when traveling.
I have however heard that some Indian students who had similar situation were not allowed to board their flight into Canada.
Please does anyone know of someone who had a similar situation but was able to enter Canada with just the e medical certificate?

Good evening my good people.
I have already been granted my study permit, however I am yet to leave for Canada. Whiles here I want to apply for my 6 year old son to join me. On this thread, I have seen people applying for either a study permit or visit visa for their kids.
If I choose to apply for the study permit, on the IMM1294e form(study permit form),
1. do I have to enter the details of my school on the form(since he has to get to Canada first before he is enrolled in school) ?
2. Do I enter the tuition cost etc of my study or I should just indicate that is not applicable. [/quote]

Hello Adwoa816,

It may be better to apply for him from within Canada but if this happenings to be my reality, I would apply now for him given the flexibility in recent trend of visa approvals. For obvious reasons if its refused, you can then set your mind to apply for him from within Canada.

The LOE can contain a compelling reasons about his feelings of you leaving him behind, which in your assessment can affect his mental performance and socialization... Reasons should be emotional as it concerns a minor. Ensure to have completely finalized your application before commencing any other.

You have to apply for him with same documents you applied with but only that which is most applicable to his personal situation/circumstances. You may also want to get an authorized letter from his school to go on an unscheduled break and valid receipts of tuition payments for the session (if applicable). Been a minor, thing can serve as proof that he will return with you back to base or country of residence.

BTW, when did you apply and approved?

Thanks a lot for the response. I applied in May and got the permit in December

Good evening, colleagues. I have been granted my study visa. However, I am planning to go Canada during spring 2021 since lectures will still be online next winter. I therefore intend to apply for my son (5 years) whiles am here. Is this a good idea or I should wait and apply for him when I arrive in Canada. If is a good idea, what documents do I need?

Congratulations on your approval. I would advice you renew your passport as soon as possible before submitting your passport to the VAC. The old passport will be cancelled without prejudice.

It will end in praise.

Thanks a lot. Please that means I should submit both the old and the new passport, right?
