Good evening all,

Well-done for the great job. My wife is planning to study in Canada in September 2022. I have investment about #8million that will mature in May 2022 and it will be liquidated into my account( I have the investment certificate). Please what is the best way to organized the visa application, knowing fully well that the money is a bulk payment in my account.

Please I need your advice

Thank you

Hi @salvationine, i blv an investment certificate z a legit document, u can always add d document to ur application n state it clearly in ur sop so that d V.O will understand thats how d money came about. That’ll show them its a legit lump sum n not just money camouflaged for d visa application.
My 10 cents.

Good day sir,

I am asking this for a friend. She wants to know if it is possible to withdraw her money from her GIC accounts in case study permit application was refused and don’t want to reapply?

Yes you will get a refund (GIC done with CIBC, i dont know of other banks). Just ensure you transfer the money to d account they give you using the applicants account in Nigeria here.

PS: money must come from account of d study permit applicant, incase of a refusal, on request, they send d refund to dsame account , its clearly stated in one of d instructions they’ll give u.

Cheers...

Good morning everybody!!! There was a chargeback on my account a while ago, I used someone I taught I could trust, immediately I got a charge back I created an FX account and made payment after two weeks, I got a letter of procedural fairness and I already put up a strong case with documents and conversations which clears me of all wrong doing. I’ve got no way or contact information on how to send a response to them, please help attached before is a screenshot of the page.

My WhatsApp number is 09038704564, please reach out if you can and God bless you.

Try sending through webform and mail.
My 10cents though, with God it will surely end in praise.

If I paid it back hope it won't affect my visa decision

From what i’v read here, asides paying it back, it’s also important to give a detailed explanation of why d charge back happened in d first place, with proof also if possible.

Good evening everyone, I'm a silent reader in this forum but decided to join today, I was hoping to post my timeline when I join but I'm in need of your assistance, I was hoping to get my medical request soon but instead i cry cry got a procedural fairness or something like that, there seemed to have even a charge back and I've been given 15 days to rectify it any ideas please, I applied using an agent before I knew of this forum please your assistance is needed cry

Most likely, Your agent is fraudulent, he/she must av requested a chargeback after paying for ur application. Write a letter explaining d fact dat u used a 3 rd party for application payment, u could say its because our naira card can’t process d said amount is d reason for using a 3rd party, attach proof dat u used a 3rd party; chats , tranfers to 3rd party etc
Pay d application fee back yourself this time around or using someone u actually trust.

Note; d explanation part is very important

Pls this is just My 10cents, u could await contributions from d gurus.

GIC PALAVA

Good day, all.

Please, I need your help.

I opened a GIC account with a Canadian Bank. I was sent an account to pay to latest by Wednesday this week.

I have tried to open a domiciliary account with
GTBank and Zenith to no avail.

I have operated a savings account with GT Bank for more than 15 years now. I thought as an old customer I'll be given some consideration, but I was wrong.

I went to Zenith, the same story. The Manager said he has no powers to open a domiciliary account, only the head office does. That even if he forwards my application, it will not be approved.

I know people have gone through similar challenges before. Please, how did you go about it.

I await your responses. Thanks in anticipation.

Try first bank or fcmb.
Also try send an email to d bank informing them of your challenge and that you may need an extension for time to send d money.

Cheers.

3) you’ll av abt a week to make d payment.
4) after some days they’ll send u a mail, attached will be ur welcome letter and investment advice( which you’ll attach to ur application)

*NO, YOU CAN’T ACCESS THE FUNDS SENT UNTIL YOU ARRIVE CANADA*
