No fewer than nine persons have been confirmed killed Sunday by Fulani herdsmen in separate attacks on two villages of the ancient town of Wukari in Taraba State,

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said that the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) will resume in 13 states of the federation between Nov. 7 and Nov. 9.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, INEC also said that there would be Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in the affected states from Nov. 13 to 17.

The acting speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Barr Kwamoti Laori has debunked rumors making rounds over leadership tussle in the State House of Assembly. He clarified that the sacked former acting governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, remains the substantive speaker of the Assembly.
