Skydeexie & Kporkpof, clap for urselves u made dat statement with ur brain in ur anus,

When last did u hear of any fight in Kano or kaduna, do u want to pretend u didnt knw  wat happened in the past in those two states
Was jos like dis before dis period? This crisis have been managed well by past governors

My father in law gisted me dat as far back as 1975 when he lived there the Berom issue/tension had been there and Obasanjo had even created a peace & reconciliatory institute when he was head of state the first time.
Our leaders sure knw how to manipulate our psyche to make us believe we hate each other & cant live with one another when they need to achieve their selfish goals or u want to tell me that neither the governor or the president lack the ideas on how to keep the situation under control,

na real wa for u people stay there with ur blind open wide eyes continue to blame evrything on islam, mwcheeeewww

Toba You will never catch me arguing cos i respect the fact that we are different in our beliefs, background etc I only state my opinions and leave it at that so i doubt if we had one before but i knw you responded to couple of my posts the only one i can rembr for now is when u said u almost had an accident on abuja airport road cant really rembr but i def follow & see ur responses to sum of the thread i read so i knw u by post very well,

Uplawal, walaykum salam sorry got carried away by Toba, sure u are enjoying the marital bliss May Allah continue to put his barakah in it,
Islam for Muslims / Re: Happy New year To The Muslim Brothers&sisters In This Section by Aishabee(f): 2:42pm On Jan 02, 2011
Toba i can see you are now acting the good guy to those who dnt knw you there is no big deal in you coming here to wish muslims a happy new year, afterall i had calls, text messages etc from lots of friends & family wishing me same

If you want us to take your greetings with a good intention i'm sure you knw that will definitely take time,

I recently went on vac wit my hubby and we stayed with a christian family friend for 2 weeks, they asked questions and we also did and never for once did we have to argue unnecessarily, i ve told any1 who cares to listen i come from a christian family i slept on the same bed with my mum who is a deacon in winners chapel for years we joked about stuffs & respected each other's spaces, we never for one day had any cause to argue disrespectfully

Arguments, debates are very healthy for any relationship whatsoever so far its done in a respectful and constructive way you dnt have to insult people to get across your point

Maybe if you start dis way and we see the sincerity then any of ur greeting will be heartily welcomed, OK
Islam for Muslims / Re: Happy New year To The Muslim Brothers&sisters In This Section by Aishabee(f): 8:54pm On Jan 01, 2011
Uplawal, pls leave Toba preferably to be ignored as i stumbled on a thread yestr wher a muslim brother was advising against celebrating new year and he took it as his headache to attack & hurl insults at the people trying to explain the reasons to him, i ve bin luking for the thread to give him a piece of my heart as the internet kept messing up yestr but i cant find the thread again,

I sincerely believe he is here to make the same trouble he didnt finish up on that thread, if i decide not to celebrate new year cos i dnt believe how should dat affect you or ur other cohorts on dat thread and the topic posted didnt say "dnt celebrate new year and enforce the hijra calendar"

We can never have the same beliefs ,culture or skin color etc till eternity so why just we just appreciate the unity in diversity ( leaving out the extremist) if there is anything you dnt undastand by any1's ideology simply ask in a polite way and if there is a need to disagree do so respectfully,

If i as a person decide not to respond to ur greetings i think its appropriate cos it shows u r only out here to luk for trouble,

Took me a while to register on Nairaland even though i visit often as soon as i decided to, i realized some people dnt knw how to pass their  message across without hurling abuses & curses at people which for me only proves u to be a shallow minded person,

I appreciate all those who understands that everyone has a different view and perspective to everything including life, religion etc which is the main reason why we all miss Bawo, We can disagree in a respectful way

It took me two days actually to decide if i wanted to post after a long time sure will continue reading as usual after this,  grin

Islam for Muslims / Re: First Day Of Ramadan by Aishabee(f): 9:03am On Aug 25, 2010
I'm of the opinion that ulcer isn't curable though im not a doctor to say that but what i tink is that it goes sumwhere to sleep and as soon as you do what u shouldn't do its fully awake.

I ve been thru many treatments i.e triple strategy-Flagil etc ( i ve forgotten how they call it). Last ramadan i was placed on Zantac, Claritomycin, one other one i cant rembr the name and also gestid. One morning i woke up and decided i have had enuf and i threw them all away because these are powerful antibiotics that once you use in the mrning that day is ruined with nausea etc.

I think good diet works well for me i stuck to the rules: don't eat fried stuff, beans, don't drink coke etc and seriously i started sleeping peacefully at nights.I wnt go and see any doctor becos the only thing they will prescribe is antibiotics.

I will just see how well i can eat in the next few days cos i can feel it all ova my back.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Help Pls! Five Months Pregnanat. Finding It Difficult To Fast by Aishabee(f): 2:42pm On Aug 16, 2010
Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 1/487

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

Pregnant and breastfeeding women come under the same ruling as those who are sick. If fasting is too difficult for them, it is prescribed for them to break the fast, and they have to make up missed fasts when they are able to do so, just as in the case of one who is sick. Some of the scholars were of the view that it is sufficient for them to feed one poor person for each day missed, but this is a weak (da’eef) view. The correct view is that they have to make up the missed days, as is the case of those who were sick and for travellers, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days”

[al-Baqarah 2:184]

This is also indicated by the hadeeth of Anas ibn Maalik al-Ka’bi, according to which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Allaah has exempted the traveller from the obligation of fasting and has reduced the prayer by half for him, and has exempted pregnant and breastfeeding women from the obligation of fasting.” (Narrated by the five).

End quote. From Tuhfat al-Ikhwaan bi Ajwabah Muhimmah tata’alliq bi Arkaan al-Islam, p. 171

And Allaah knows best.

This is an extract from Islam q&a im not sure you have to fast if its difficult for you.

Salam brodas and sistas, its so unfortunate that we lost this brother on saturday as contained in a text message from my former amir yestr,

Also two sisters from MICA abuja lost their lives in a head on collusion at airport road abuja,

Just sumtin to lite us up, Masha Allah i got it from my friend

Two Christians were lost in the Sahara desert .One is David, the other is Michael .They were dying of hunger and thirst when they suddenly came upon an oasis, with what looked like an emirate with a mosque in the middle .David said to Michael : "Look, let's pretend we are Muslims, otherwise we'll not get any food or drink. I am going to call myself "Mohammed."Michael refused to change his name , he said :" My name is Michael , and I will not pretend to be other than but what I am . , Michael."The Imam of the mosque received both well and asked about their names .David said : "My name is Mohammed ."Michael said : "My name is Michael. "The Imam turned to the helpers of the mosque and said :" Please bring some food and water for Michael only ."Then he turned to the other and said :"
Well Mohammed I hope you are aware that we are still in the holy month of Ramadan.Happy Ramadan! grin
