Adajulien: I don't know where mile 2 is as I am not that familiar with Lagos, but if you find yourself in Oshodi, take a cab going to Ajah, and drop at Ikate. Cross to the other side and walk down opposite where you dropped. Ask the people around that you are going to the VFS office as you are walking down. They will show you the place. It's not far from the main junction you alighted. 1 Like |

waywardpikin: No, you can't do biometrics before submitting your application. After you submit your application, you will receive a biometrics instruction letter that will outline how to give your biometrics. |

MizMyColi: Thank you. I did my medicals two weeks before submitting my application. With all that I have seen here, you can do your medicals before or after submitting your application. Your result will be sent to IRCC. If you submit your application before doing medicals, I think you will need to raise a web form and submit the document given to you by the medical centre. 1 Like |

kolamilan: Go to NPC website. You can now do your birth attestation online. When I wanted to do mine in February at their Abuja office, I was asked to go online. You will pay 3k as remittance with charges less than 100 naira or so (can't remember). Within 24 hours, my birth attestation came out and I downloaded it from the NPC portal. The payment is also online. You don't need to stress, you can get your attestation from the comfort of wherever you are. 1 Like |

OTSAMUEL: Mine has also not been updated on the portal, but it changed to completed on the tracker after a week. However, the biometrics date and expiry date have been reflected in my profile since the day I submitted my application ( I hope this is clear ) |

kachi10000: Having divided the documents into two, convert both to a pdf and merge them. You can use ilovepdf.com to this. Then compress again with pdf2go.com. it will be clear to read. |

Hello everyone I first applied for a visit visa sometime last year, and this was the reason I was denied. Now that I want to apply for a study visa, what do I need to work on based on the reasons for the refusal of the visit visa. Thank you. 1 Like

Pls, what do I need to work on in my next application? Home ties or financial aspect? Mind you, now I'm applying for a study visa, not a visitor visa. Thank you for all you do here.

yorke1: Pls don't use an agent. No one will know how to tell your story like you when you are applying to a school for admission. You can only seek guidance which many here have been willing to give. Start by knowing the course you want to do for your masters and why you want to study the course. Then, look out for schools in Canada online that offer the course to your satisfaction. Pick one of the schools and apply. In all, pray for God's guidance ✌️ 2 Likes |

Ceedeon: You can write to the school of graduate studies if you have their email address, or contact the department you applied to via email. I applied to Memorial University too, and I got my offer letter in March. |

Hello everyone, good morning. I have been following this thread silently. Thank you to everyone that contribute one info and the other. It has been of great help. My question now is that The school I applied to gave me financial support of 8k. Can I add this to sum-total for my PoF to the Canadian embassy? I anticipate your response. Thank you. |

Pekela: But can one withdraw a pending application while applying for a new one? |

Ajebogirl: Hello everyone. Thank you for all the information provided for me to track my application. Thankfully I got heads through and I was able to create a tracker. The tracker states the application status is closed. However, the background check is in progress while eligibility is completed. I guess I will have to keep waiting. |

orjohn24: Thank you for responding. I have asked him to no avail, he thinks I will sabotage his payment or something. He promised to send a screenshot of how the process is going. Still nothing. I feel 8 months is quite a long time. |

Chisomwo: Thank you for your response. I have tried doing that with my UCI and Application number but it wasn't going through. |

Good day, all. I have been on this platform since I applied for a Canada visit visa in June 2023 through an agent. I didn't really know much about the whole processing thing, hence why I used an agent at that time. Ever since I followed this platform, I have gained better insight Into the whole process. My dilemma now is that, will it be possible to run a study application and a visit application concurrently? since I have not heard anything from IRCC since June. The agent I used kept saying my application was "in progress". Is there also a way I can track my application myself or send a message to IRCC to expedite my application? At this point, I don't even mind whatever the final decision. I just want to hear something. Thank you in anticipation. |
