Guy, 5 years didnt u guys know before. Like someone said i would be careful if i were u not becos of your sister but becos of her father. Its easy to say go ahead and marry but that is only the beginning of your marriage and life together, i know u'll say 5 years is long but 10 years of unhappiness would even be longer. If there are any problems in the marriage u wont be able to go to her people, also GOD FORBID but if anything negative happens there wont be any support. Lastly u would have ur family but she would lose hers to marry u. If u are not worried think about her, think about when she gives birth , think about the fact that her mother wont come of be there to halp her or that her family wont rejoice with her, think of how lonely she would be, then think of your children who wont know their maternal grandparents or family?

i can only say try and find maybe her uncle that the Dad respects and go and beg with a senior member of ur family. But my brother i beg dont use force o!

Romance / Most Embarassing Moments! Stories Please by ama27(f): 12:58am On May 23, 2009
Just had a conversation with some friends i laughed so much i was rolling on the floor, thought i should start up a topic that can cause some laughs (especially in this time of economic gloom)

ill start with 1 of mine. I was in Lagos sometime last year, and my husband and i spent a night in a hotel ( the night we arrived)  In the morning as we checked out , we had the driver come in to help with taking out all the luggage. Hotel policy is that they cant check you out without physically inspecting the room, me i was catwalking ( in my mind thinking sebi its1 night we couldnt have broken anything haba, over jay) Only for the Hotel guy to call out to me as i was wlking down the corridor with driver, and husband in tow, Madam u forgot your pant ( he was walking towards me with my pant in hand), apparently it was left on the floor somewhere!

Hope people will be willing to contribute

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: It Professionals Are Urgently Needed by ama27(f): 10:23pm On Sep 15, 2008
@jobassist I want to believe this is a joke.It Professionals? IF ure not careful you wont even find executive driver sef.

@SOJ, i want to believe that you dont currently live in Nigeria, if not i am sure you would be better informed about the cost of living and alarming rate of inflation. None is saying pay out millions to graduates (half baked or not) but pay enough for them to commute to work, pay bills, feed, and enjoy the occasional leisure activities. Afterall a major driver (if not in all cases the most) of obtaining a degree is to get a good job and successful career.

ANYONE who want to employ someone literate enough to say the are graduates 30k a month is an oportunist taking advantage of the extremely high unemployment level in the country

also note before making certain all in all conclusive statements pls try an make sure you have a fully comprehensive view so you can make an informed contribution

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Zenith Bank Or Bat by ama27(f): 12:41pm On Aug 06, 2008
my guy do u have BAT 's offer in ur hand? becos from personal experience bat na long thing o . Unless u have the offer in ur hand . BAT waste A LOT of time.
if u have both offers then u need to consider other factors i.e location , pay, work hours etc. i can tell u that BAT would be a fdantastic experience, they would alos invest in u and offer lots of training so afetr 2 years it would definately be their loss if they dont keep you and other companies woul ddefinately want u.

@dayosegun: i hear u and ure preaching about tobacco, so what makes banks any better , except ure doing islamic banking ther sef breach biblical principles and generally principles of right and wrong .
And as ull know sin is sin e no get degree: theif and murderer are the same. its only when u face the wordly courts that their penalty's differ. so in short for u to 'christian' like that bets u start ur own business where u would be able to follow the priniciples of God in totality!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Oracle Financial And Sap, Which Is Better In Terms Of Opportunities by ama27(f): 9:47am On Jul 24, 2008
I might be partial as im a SAP consultant but SAP is the way forward. However i think u need to find out which one hold the market in the country you would like to work.
Also theres nothing wrong in doing one then later the other depending on how fast you want to start to gain from it.
But all in all i think SAP is the way forward especially with many multinationals
im sure youvr heard of the advert: Big businesses use SAP
hope this helps
