Please take this report to Twitter and tag both Nipost and other relevant bodies. You'll get swifter response and action there.
Then you will be wasting your time and data. Nipost is a government parastatal, they enjoy anonymity. You can do video and Post no positive feedback will come through. This is not fedEx or DHL that employs people to manage their SM handles. The best you get is what I’m offering you here. It’s a good thing your packages are registered and not LC. This means it’s insured. Now you have two options. A. Wait for a week or so for your package to arrive. But if the shipper (Aliexpress) has said delivered or reached your local post office and you’ve not seen it after checking your local post office, then file for a missing package. Investigation will be carried out ASAP and you will be paid simple.

NomzyJust:
Have been using NIPOST for more than 5 yeara now and still haven't had any issues with them. Last week I received an item that was shipped since March. I ship phones too but only via Ebay and I use a 3rd party shipping company. That way I get to avoid paying outrageous custom fees.

The best way is to get a shipper, talk to seller about your shipper, pay and send seller your shippers address. Your shipper will ship to you in less tine compared to AE long ass shipping.

By and large, NIPOST have been very good to me.
Thank you so much! Good reviews finally! Another pointer is that Aliexpress is somehow at loggerheads with Nigerian Customs and Nipost. Due to several credit Card fraud purchases by Nigerians on the site. Sometimes this factor contribute to delays. Try eBay or wish app. It’s simple and fast! Not to discourage anyone that used Aliexpress or wants to use it anyways. But always check your mail to see if the shipper has notified you that your package has arrived your local post office! Cheers!

Thanks for your concern. As tiring as my own situation is, I'm not the only one as there are others who have been waiting before me.
I stay in lagos.
I believe the post office also told me that packages have to go through impc at nahco before it reaches designated post offices.
To anyone who wants to ship something valuable, Please make sure it’s registered and Not LC (ordinary mail). This is an insurance. So once issues like this come up, simply walk to the nearest head office (not branch office) and file for damages. Investigation will be done ASAP and you will be paid

Damn! Too many complaints. Which one do I handle first.
Please be advised that it takes about 2 weeks for a shipment to arrive Nigeria. Lagos Head Office to be precise. If you ordered for some goods and you’re yet to receive your package, then the following must have occurred
1. You probably ordered between April- June 2020. During this period the IPA made sure that all postal services would halt. Borders were closed. So no receiving of mails. But if by now you’re yet to recieve it and the shipping party shows delivered then something is obviously wrong. Just like every institution there are bad eggs! We encourage you to come over to the State headquarters with evidence and details of the shipment

2. Wrong or Bogus address: Seriously some people don’t know how to put an address. I’ve seen cases where the address is not clear or have faded from the package. Remember we aren’t Powerful enough to guess your address, if the package doesn’t clearly show your name or address. So when you want to order please attach real name, Phone number and correct address. If you live beside a university or famous establishment always use that place as your address. It’s easier to track. Don’t just put G.R.A! Virtually every state has one. In this case it’s back to sender!

3. Value or content: Avoid ordering for banned items. Customs can seize it even before it reaches us. So you know!

4. Bad eggs!: Just as I stated earlier. We can always investigate if you come forward with details. Nipost has an investigation department.

5: Human error/Mis-sorting: No one is above mistake. Sometimes staff mis-sort and it goes to the wrong place and gets stuck for a while. But it is immediately sent back
Send your story to edwardwilliam431@gmail.com. Let’s see how we can help. Cheers!

I’m sorry about the unfortunate incidents. When you order a package. A shipping fee is attached. Then it gets to the destinated country Which in this case is Nigeria. The period which you made the order was during the global lockdown era due to covid. So mails weren’t coming in. Not until the border was opened anyways. But I’m sure with the date your package must have arrived. Normally the packages arrive Lagos Office and are then sorted by dedicated staff to the various state where It is then resorted at state level to get down to the addressed city for pick up. Please what’s your state/address. I strongly advice you to locate the State headquarters immediately to file for a missing item. Make sure you have details of shipment (Tracking no, Name of sender, Your name/username, a valid ID. We will surely investigate it ASAP. Deeply sorry for the inconvenience it might have caused you. N.B I’m limited to what I can say here. But I do hope you get the help you deserve. edwardwilliam431@gmail.com. Cheers!

What is your tracking number? Was it shipped as ordinary mail or Registered Mail? Let me know. People should stop giving us bad names here

Valentinooo:
On the 7th of March, I ordered a phone which was shipped on the 18th of March. Ever since then, nothing has been heard of it.
The memory card I intended to use with the phone was ordered two days later, and that one has since arrived.

From the lamentations on the aliexpress thread, I noticed a lot of people are also in my situation.
They bought phones which refused to deliver whereas the accessories they ordered days after ordering the phone got delivered.

This lead to the assumption that nipost staffs are deliberately holding on to these phones for reasons best known to them.

I don't want to believe these phones are being stolen by those that are meant to deliver them to us.

Why will I buy a phone with my hard earned money only for it to be stolen by people who are meant to deliver the phone?

This is corporate robbery and should be condemned.

How will a phone come all the way from China without missing only for it to get to Nigeria and get missing?

I have to create this new thread to make our plight known to the whole world.

I have also tagged those who are having this same issue.

Crime / EFCC Re-Arraigns Aisha Wakil ‘Mama’ Boko Haram, Others For Alleged N6M Fraud by amaifehenry(m): 8:49am On Sep 03, 2020
The Maiduguri Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it had re-arraigned the Chief Executive Officer of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, Aisha Alkali Wakil, popularly known as Mama Boko Haram.

Mama Boko Haram was said to have been re-arraigned on Tuesday before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court in Maiduguri, on amended four counts bordering on conspiracy, giving false information, and cheating to the tune of N6 million.

At the sitting, prosecution counsel, Mukhtar Ali Ahmad, informed the court of a pending amended charge and urged the court to strike out the earlier charges filed on March 3 and 10, 2020, and substitute it with that of March 18, 2020.

A statement on Wednesday by the Head, Media, and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Dele Oyewale, indicated that Justice Kumaliya substituted the charges and ordered them to be read to the defendants.

One of the charges read, “That you, Aisha Alkali Wakil, Tahiru Alhaji Saidu Daura and Prince Lawal Shoyode, whilst being chief executive officer, programme manager and country director respectively, of Complete Care and Aid Foundation (NGO), sometime between October and November, 2018 at Maiduguri, Borno State, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, dishonestly induced one Alhaji Bukar Kachalla of Abks Ventures Limited to deliver to you a Toyota Camry 2012 Model worth N6m only under the guise of executing a contract for the purchase of the said car and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 320 (a) and punishable under Section 332 of the Penal Code Cap 102 Laws of Borno State.”

They pleaded not guilty, following which counsel for the second and third defendants, H. Waziri, prayed the court for an adjournment to enable him to study the new charges with a view to applying for a plea bargain agreement with the EFCC.

Consequently, Justice Kumaliya adjourned the matter till September 16, 2020 for commencement of trial

Mama Boko Haram was originally arraigned, alongside the Programme Manager of her Foundation, Tahiru Daura and the Country Director, Lawal Shoyode on December 4, 2019. Their trial followed their no-guilty plea to the charges.

Business / Nigerians Are Taking Over Our Economy, Kenyan Professor cries out - Sahara Rep by amaifehenry(m): 7:29am On Jul 23, 2020
Iraki was reacting to the recent sale of Kenya's Transnational Bank to Access Bank of Nigeria, noting that Access was not the first Nigerian bank

XN Iraki, an Associate Professor at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, has expressed concerns over Nigeria's growing influence on the Kenyan economy.

Professor Iraki, in an article titled, 'Nigerians Are Not Coming, They've Already Arrived,' published in The Standard, raised the alarm over the influence of Nigerian churches, movies and banks in the country.

He said the entry of Nigerian lenders into the Kenyan market was well planned.

Iraki was reacting to the recent sale of Kenya's Transnational Bank to Access Bank of Nigeria, noting that Access was not the first Nigerian bank to get a foothold in Kenya.

"Guaranty Trust (GT) and UBA already have a presence here," he says. The professor also said many Nigerians marrying Kenyan women was another grand strategy to get into the country's market.

The article partly read, "Why is the buyout so significant to the banking sector and the Kenyan economy? Why didn't we notice it? Is that the last Nigerian purchase? First, the entry of Nigerian lenders into the Kenyan

market was well planned. It started by softening the Kenyan mind with Nigerian churches and Afrosinema movies. That changed the hardened image of Nigerians as corrupt and happy-go-lucky—an outdated image.

"From my interactions, Nigerians are serious and focused. That focus and single-mindedness are often mistaken for pride and arrogance. Once they set their goals on something, they usually get it. The means can be contested, excluding juju. For every Nigerian caught on the wrong side of the law, nine others are doing the right thing, not just in their country, but somewhere in the world. One of them supervised my dissertation.

"I recently met a Nigerian who was a member of parliament in South Africa. In America, they are top administrators in universities, medical doctors, engineers, financial analysts and other lucrative jobs. It has been predicted that Nigeria will soon be Africa's superpower. And why not? The country has gone through thick and thin, from coups and anti-coups and even a civil war, like the other superpower - USA."

"For the Nigerians, marrying our girls seems to be part of their grand strategy to get into the Kenyan market; through genes, across generations. What else will Nigerians go for after our banks? Are banks their Trojan horse into our economy? And, more curiously, why is Kenya on sale? Not that I am an economic nationalist, but what are we buying ourselves?

"Some observers argue that lack of buffer communities like Indians and whites may have worsened the ethnic contest among the big Nigerian ethnic groups, and lately minorities. I need to make a fact-finding visit to Nigeria after Covid-19.

"The other prerequisite for Nigerian superpower status includes a significant population (read market) and an educated elite that has footprints in almost all the countries in the world. Oil did not prove a reliable conveyor belt to economic growth; all eggs were put in one basket. With Covid-19, the oil curse seems real.

"The best conveyor to Nigerian superpower status is financial services. Oil needs a countervailing force. By making their banks global, Nigerians - like the British and Americans before them - will leverage onto other sectors. They can control industries, institutions, sectors - and politics indirectly. I am sure you will not see an American, Briton or Nigerian as a cashier in a bank. But who decides how the profits will be shared?

"Access Bank's entry into the Kenyan market is more than the acquisition of a lender connected with former political power wielders. It is likely to disrupt the banking industry further. The demand for more bank capitalisation by the Central Bank of Kenya and investment in fintech were the first disruptors. We can't discount Covid-19 for now.

"Remember Access Bank is more capitalised, to the tune of about $18 billion (Sh1.9 trillion). The bank spans three continents, 12 countries and has 36 million customers. Compare that with Kenya's biggest bank by capitalisation or customers. How will local banks compete with such a big bank? Some could take solace in the fact that the biggest banks in Kenya are indigenous, such as KCB and Equity. Others are merging, including NIC and CBA. But we can't rest on our laurels."
