Religion / Re: Speaking In Tongues: Is It Real Language Or Garrulous Babble? by amsky(m): 10:50am On Mar 09, 2008
In my opinion, speaking in tongues is just babbling. The HOLY SPIRIT cannot ''possess'' or enter anyone, let alone make them talk all that meaningless stuff. If for any reason people who speak in tongues are possessed, then they possessed by some onther spirit, but not the HOLY SPIRIT.
Romance / Re: Please Help Me Now! by amsky(m): 3:25pm On Mar 08, 2008
I do not think this guy should be given the kind of answers he is getting.

@ poster, don't just mind them, i'll tell you. Be sure to do this coause it has worked for several guys in your shoes.

1, Dip your third leg in hot hot hot suya pepper
2, Rub ginger powder on it.
3, pour hot water on the third leg and wring it very well to ensure that every drop of H2o is out
4, get a very long koboko or horsewhip.
5, flog the living boogalo out of the privates.
6, then go and relax, but b4 you do,tie the balls with a thread so it does not touch the third leg itself.
7, the next day,it'll be as good as new. kiss

Enjoy.

@ Poster

PLs i do not think kidney whatever comes in here. It's not out of place for a 5yr old to bed wet. People bed wet till 10 and they are perfectly normal. I do not advice taknig her for any kidney check, especially if you are in Nigeria. You may be unduly given a fright.

Just keep trying, you'll get there. Kidney issues may not come in here.
Travel / Re: Abuja Vs Accra by amsky(m): 6:53pm On Mar 07, 2008
My brother, i fear to talk b4 o!!!!

My first 6wks in Accra was spent in Labadi beach hotel, where i heard Bush was lodged when he visited Accra.(dont know how true that is) It is NOTHING compared to le meridien Abuja. i stayed in one of the best neighbourhoods in Accra-East cantonments. Both sides of it. It's nothing compared to the structures in Abuja.

I Just asked my hubby and Accra does not even come close in his opinion. ANother thing is that the kind of money in Abuja is not in Accra. I think that should also count while making the comparisons.

Thanks guy for those pics.I don't mind lansing in Nnamdi Azikiwe airport. It was really good the last time i was there. Kotako or Something airport in Accra does not even smell near it. Kotako is like Benin city airport. Too below standard for an international airport. Basic security is lacking ''massively''.

Thanks.

Romance / Re: Landers Pls Advise Me! by amsky(m): 2:52pm On Mar 07, 2008
Please, forget about this lady. You are not even sure she lost her mother. She has now seen you are not forthcoming with anything and has decided to become cold. For all you know, she has other bobos.
You do not even know this fellow.
I know her type. Just leave her. Ignore her for a long while and see if she comes after you.

Travel / Re: Abuja Vs Accra by amsky(m): 12:03pm On Mar 07, 2008
Every city has its ups and downs. I have lived in Accra for 1yr, i have visited Abuja for 2wks and a few days.

Like Akumbu said, it depends on the points of comparison. There are mad people or beggars in Accra more than you have in Abuja. In that respect, one may be tempted to compare Accra to Lagos. There is also Massive water problems in Accra sometimes too. So massive that you'll pay through your teeth to get your tank filled, and you'll see kids running around with jerrycans in search of water.

As for cars, the kinds i've seen in Nigeria as a whole,i've never seen it anywhere else. Even here in London.

As for where oyinbos will feel comfy, I'm not too sure. The thing here is 9ja already has a not too good image out here. People think it's unsafe, too fast, one can't feel at home in there etc. That's where Accra gets it. It's calmer. Infrastructure, I think it's Abuja O! That's what i think.
Hotels.nice buildings etc. I'll say Abuja too. Accra is Really good in that respect, but Abuja takes it by just the skin of the teeth.

My opinion.

Romance / Re: Can Women Survive Without Men? by amsky(m): 10:14pm On Mar 06, 2008
None can survive without the other, and that is why THE GOOD LORD has put both men and women in this world of ours.

A world without women or men is unthinkable. Each functions as part of a whole. When one part of that whole is missing, then there will be alot of chaos. Men are as important as women and vice versa, if you ask me. wink
Romance / Re: Dilemma by amsky(m): 10:04pm On Mar 06, 2008
If you can't live with him, then i don't see the point going back. There's no perfect man my dear. Not yet. We are only able to live with some ''faults'' the next fellow has.

If you look objectively, you'll also find there are things about you that may not sit well with him, But he still tries to live with these things. I know for sure that for a relationship/marrigae to be successful, one or both parties must have to bend backwards and different points of the journey.
If you are tired of bending backwards in this particular situation, then stay out, no matter how much you ''love him''.

If he is tight fisted now and you are not happy about it,what makes you think you'll be happy about it if you eventually get married?

Money my dear, is not everything. It's not enough to end an otherwise blissfull relationship if you ask me. undecided

All the best though.

Health / Re: Help Pls. by amsky(m): 5:28pm On Mar 05, 2008
You may not get what you want on this forum, but i do know a little tiny bit of varicose veins.

It is caused most times by poor circulation. I think that's why raising the legs is a good point to start. If it runs in her family, then there may be little or nothing she can do about it. From your post, she is not yet pregnant.

There is no need spending money treating them. It's usually a cosmetic sugery if one must treat them.
