Indeed What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist

I am so grateful to God for making my joy complete. In deed what I have been waiting for has come to pass. As a family, we have always desired moving to Canada. The journey started in 2019 when a friend spoke to my husband about the Express Entry Pool. However, our score was so low, so we decided to try the study route.

In Feb 2020, I met an Instagram agent who collected over 2.5 million from us to migrate through the study route. No need to mention his name in this piece, (I can't give a fraudulent person unnecessary publicity).

He secured an undergraduate admission to the University of Manitoba. After submitting the visa application, I got to find out about nairaland. Then I realized many things were wrong with my application process.

Next, I got in touch with Frank, and he asked me to start seeking for a master's admission in a related course. Since I studied mass communication and currently working as a remote digital journalist with a firm in Switzerland, I decided to opt for a Masters in Journalism Project at the University of Regina.

In September 2020, I got my admission letter and started planning ahead of 2021 fall. Meanwhile, this agent never told me I had been refused. I kept on waiting until Frank advised that I link my application to a new mail. This is when I found out that my previous application was refused in October 2020.

Next, we started making plans to submit a new application in 2021. Application was submitted on April 13th.

July 2021, I was refused (my 2nd refusal) based on personal assets and finance.

I decided to opt for JR. I contacted an immigration lawyer, and she filed for a JR on August 6th. GCMS note showed that I had a lump sum, which was from the fixed deposit that I liquidated.

JR Timeline

Courts settlement: September 1st

File reopened: September 14th

Request for new documents: October 8th

Document submitted: October 14th.

Then the wait started. I contacted my lawyer several times to help follow up, but she was reluctant. So Frank, Morayo, and Biola advised that I send a form to IRCC requesting to cancel her as my rep.

I filled out the use of rep form and submitted on January 24th. I started sending 5 emails and web forms daily. In between this period, my husband and I decided to sow a seed, we fasted and had days of praise and worship.

I keyed into my pastor's prayer at David Christian Center (Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo) last Sunday that the yoke of delay is broken. I kept on speaking that word into my life and application. I held on to God's word and on Feb 4th, BVL dropped and PPR today.

I am truly grateful to God. The wait is indeed not easy. In fact, I got two offers from UK schools, and I was even considering opting for one before PPR dropped.

I want to especially thank Frank for his help all through this journey. Morayo and Biola, God bless you so much. Jane, Yinka, and Maureen, I met friends turned sisters in this forum and to everyone still waiting. The God that remembered me is still in the business of doing good.

From a small village in Anambra State to Canada, blessed be God's name.

Please use Form A is always cheaper even though you have DOM account.

You can use your DOM account if your deadline is close and the bank delays in making the payment

You can do either. I dont think it affects you.
However, I think you might be saving more if you pay in Naira bc you get to pay your school fees at official CBN rate.
Thanks alot

So guys, here is my story.

I have lost a great deal of money paid to agents in the past to secure visa for me, most recently was last year June when I naively paid 285k to an agent to secure admission for me in a Canadian college. It was after this disaster that I stumbled on this thread. I regretted my life and beat myself up for a long time.

Afterwards, I began to read this thread from the beginning of part 18 till I caught up with part 19. I gained a huge amount information from people's timeliness shared, but most importantly, I met a wonderful individual on this thread who'd turn out to be a partner in progress in this journey.

We both got offers for a 1yr PGD program at Cambrian College, but realized afterwards that it was more convenient to go for a 2yrs program because of the PGWP thing. We had to abandon that offer and apply to other schools, but eventually settled for Lambton college, Toronto, May 2022 intake.

Due to sudden unforseen financial challenges, Paying for my compulsory first term tuition fee before the deadline given became a huge challenge that kept me up at night. I prayed like never before and God came through and brought help my way.

Submitting my visa application became another challenge because I didn't know exactly how to package my application as a self sponsored applicant. My profile was kinda complex and my story was very complicated. My friend Tobe1997 convinced me to give it to the renowned Frankrobbn to tie together, as it was his specialty. We hooked up and the man showed his acute knowledge of the process of study visa application. Because of his extremely busy schedule, it was stressful chasing him upandan to get his attention to my application, but as soon as I got it, my story suddenly became simple and straightforward.

I submitted my application on 21st November via the new portal, did my upfront medical and biometrics the next day. Upfront medical was updated to passed on 25th November while the biometrics delayed to be updated on the portal till 7th December 2021 after I raised webform and mailed IRCC about it.

During the waiting period, I prayed, fasted, did midnight prayers, booked mass, did everything I could to show God that I was totally depending on him to complete this project as I had done what I could do as a human. I lost faith sometimes, but his mercies always prevailed.

On the 18th of January 2022, my friend received her ppr while I received mine 10 days after hers. My detailed documents submitted are below:

Applicants personal documents
1. College Unconditional Official Letter of Admission,
2. Tuition deposit receipt (from the College)
3. Copy of my Birth Certificate,
5. Copy of West African Examinations Council Senior School Certificate (WAEC),
6. Copy of my International Passport Bio data page,
7. Copy of my family picture (dad, Siblings and I)
8. Statement of Purpose.
9. NYSC discharge certificate
10. Degree certificate
11. Transcripts
12. Reference Letter from my hometown union
13. Landed property documents in Nigeria (Deed of assignments and Survey plans)
14. Proof of rental payment from tenants (rental receipts)
15. Lease agreement for landed property

Applicant's employment/financial documents
1. Letter of Introduction from my employer.
2. Study leave approval letter.
3. Six (6) months Statement of Account (Personal/salary Account) - N21M normal bank statement
4. Promotion letter
5. Work ID card
6. Resume
7. Business Registration Certificate of my business
8. Particulars of the sole proprietorship of the business
9. Previous employment documents
10. Reference Letter from my business clients

My dad was one of my strong hometies, but I unfortunately lost him this January while waiting for PPR. It seemed like it was shaping up to be a bad year, but God showed up and rescued me.

This whole visa process has taught me so much about prayers and dependability on God, there's nothing he cannot do. Fasting and prayers works folks! Trust in God and there's nothing he cannot do for you. My study permit approval is the most improbable of all because I wasn't the most qualified, I wasn't even qualified. God just qualified me and made me eligible.

I requested for gcms on the 5th of January, mailed like 4 MPs in Toronto, only one accepted to help enquire from IRCC on my behalf. She gave me feedback from IRCC this Tuesday that my eligibility review was ongoing, but as at then it hadn't been updated on my portal. Meanwhile, I started mailing Abuja, Lagos, Nairobi and London like 10 times daily from the beginning of January after my application got to 6 weeks. I'd schedule my mails on my email app for every hour from 6am till 2pm Nigeria time, and they'll just deliver automatically at the top of every hour. The responses were always the generic ones, but I didn't care. I'd send webform via the new webform link in between from time to time. It seemed like the mails weren't yielding any thing, but I was encouraged to continue. This Thursday, I saw that my eligibility review had been updated on my portal, I went back and doubled down on my prayers that night, and then scheduled another 10 mails each to just Abuja and Nairobi every hour against Friday. By the time the 8th mail had delivered by 1pm, I received 2 mails from IRCC and also from their Abuja office that there's a message sent to my portal. At that point, I was in the middle of a serious meeting at the office and my hands were shaking to open my portal, I ran to the toilet and lo and behold the beautiful messages of correspondence and ppr were seated pretty on the portal. I didn't know what I felt. I pinched myself to wake up, quickly urinated to know if I will wake up, but it was all reality. I couldn't contain my joy. After all the sleepless nights, worries and all, God has crowned it all with success.

I am eternally grateful to you all on this platform for the encouragement and information shared freely. God bless you. For those still waiting for their good news, keep trusting, there's nothing impossible for God to do.

Like always, it has ended in praise for me.

A very big congratulations to you....sorry for the lost, and I pray God will also do mine soon

LONGGGGGG POST ALERT!!!

Guys I really do not know where to start from!
I'm short of words. God's just too good to fail.
I'm still in shock cause I can't really fathom why my application was this quick or why I was just favoured, but I give God all the glory! For he alone is to be praised!

I've been following this thread for about 4yrs now. Just observing with no plans to submit my application. Was just here for the information basically, and to read people's process (which I enjoyed doing) didn't even know I'd eventually apply.

Time came for me to apply, I was scared to the Bone! I was scared to doing it myself! My sponsor (brother) literally begged me to look for an Agent to handle my application, I was skeptical at first, but I succumbed cause I didn't want any issue or stories that touch.

I contacted an agent on this platform, he charged me 150K for admission and 250K for Visa. My sponsor agreed to pay for the first stage (admission). Las las I eventually paid 190K for only admission!!! Only school admission ohhh!!!

Then it was time for Visa Application, and I was told Visa Fee has increased to 300K. And I was like hell No!!! I no go school? Am I daft? No! I can do this shi# myself. 300K no be 300 naira.

That's how it began, took a leap of faith and decided to do and handle my Visa Process myself, and God blessed me with the GOLDEN Mail (PPR)! Guys please do this stuff yourself!
You can do it! Yes YOU! You can!
There's nobody else that cares about your application than you! You don't need any agents NAIRALAND is the real deal! NAIRALAND taught me everything I know and used to get my Approval.

I'm a FIRST TIME APPLICANT, my timeline goes thus, I used the NEW PORTAL,

Biometrics Completed - 3rd December 2021 (updated same day)
Upfront Medicals Updated - 6th December 2021
Then the wait........................^_^

Then a good man, a blessing, friend turned brother, a brother from another mother, Teemenzo (God bless you for me brother, he has always been with me from the beginning of my application) adviced me to send a mail to Abuja which I did, I eventually, reluctantly sent to everybody (London, Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja) yesterday, 26th of January just to disturb then. Hello Anmama

Her not having her business registered isnt really a problem , but I wanna assume she issues receipts or invoices to her customers on every sales or transactions made, cos you really need to convince the Visa officer that your sponsor makes steady income to be able to sponsor you.. Its not about saying she makes 3million every month, do you have documents to back it up?

Submitting her personal account is not also a problem, but when the Visa officer sees in the account that their is an inflow of not less than 3 Million every month, they will like to know the source of such income, reason for submitting documents to back up your claims..

But I will advise, since your mum makes such amount every month, she should register her business not just for Visa reasons but for other reasons...

Peace
Thank very much....I now understand better

Hello @ketima, ...and other gurus

I am a newbie... Please I will like you to give me more on this sponsorship of a thing.

Okay my Mom is going to be my sponsor and she has a mineral (soft drink and other other) depot and a Frozen food. For the two business is makes at least 3m monthly but her business is not registered and she uses her personal account for the business. Although she pays her taxes.
Please I don't if I can still use her as my sponsor since she does not have a business certificate.

Thanks, please help me shed more light on it.

@amila20042001

I applied for a bachelor's degree (Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) although they sent me an email that my application is in process after I wrote my Casper test.
The Casper test is a mandatory test for all prospectit students who wishes to study nursing or any other related program like pharmacy, medicine or any other life science programs.
For me I think my application got a little bit delayed because of the Casper test, since the result was sent to the school after 2-3 weeks of taking the test.

But I hope to hear from the school soon.
I also applied for the same program in the university of British Columbia, still waiting for an admission sha.
