Good day all, pls my kid bro has his study visa approved. Is he also required too apply for study permit? Abi they are same. And also for someone without transit visa all this airlines with 1 to 2 stop is it advisible too book them?

The Visa they give him in his Passport is a TRV. Basically what will allow him travel to canada. The study permit is given on arrival after a short interview with the immigration officer. To be on the safe side do not book any flight with 2 stops. You can only travel through europe with one stop except the UK, you will need a transit visa for the UK. And you cant pass through US without a visa. Look at Egypt Air, ethiopian airlines, Quatar, Emirates, Luftansa and KLM.

So if I try to apply for a separate visitor visa, my study visa will be revoked?

Good day guys, I need advice. I already got the study visa and it already started counting since April for a September course. If I wanted to go some months ahead of September to visit family do I get a separate visitors visa?

Most applicants here used GCkey

Yes. I used GCKey because my school recommended it and even though it was so buggy, it worked well-ish for me.

It’s still same thing with or without Co-op. Just be prayerful and positive thinking. Mine was 2 weeks with co-op permit application.

Have you gotten to Canada yet? I applied for Coop permit as well. Did they give you at the Port of entry?

Hello guys, kindly help clarify this:

For the purpose of PR, what is the implication of - studying 1 +1 year course in different provinces.

For instance, 1year course in one province
another 1year course in another province

Please gurus in the house, help out address this concern. Thanks

If no one answers I suggest you watch some YouTube videos. Lots of Nigerians are sharing how they japped and a few have taken this route.

Hello house ,pls can one submit an application now, is the current strike not affecting Visa processing?.

People are still getting responses to their applications. And even if there is a halt in processing due to the strike it will still be the same amount of time if you apply now or after the strike.

good evening guys please do we need to have the yellow card before going to Canada?

Yellow card is for Travel to most African and South American countries. Tropical countries at risk of yellow fever. It has nothing to do with the rest of the world.

Hello guys please i need help
My second application has just been refused based on financial situation.
My first application was refused for the same reason. And the gcms said there was no proof of relationship between me and my uncle.
In this second application I attached my mothers birth certificate and a family picture then a picture of my mom and my uncle when he was still in Nigeria. I paid one year school fees since my first application. In the second application i made my uncle transfer 10k cad to my account and also made my dad transfer 4million naira to my account and backed it up with deed of gift. My uncle also has 30k cad in his account

Is there any new thing i can do to make my next application strong enough?

Note my course is a two year course.

Add pictures of you and your uncle together, to prove you are close, add his birth certificate and passport to prove your uncle is part of your family and who he says he is. Proof he transferred the money to you and in the sponsor letter he states his relationship and dedication to you and your education in Canada that his resources are available for your educational success as his favourite nephew.

If a gift deed is needed, I will leave it to the gurus in the house.

I need Urgent help pls.

I have above 7years work experience. I also hold an MBA in HR here in Nigeria. I applied for an MBA with Project Management Specialization at University Canada West (UCW). It was rejected on the basis that I had am MBA already. I wrote back that this application is for Project Management Specialization. They asked me to appeal for review. Has anyone had this experience before? Any advice?

I guess you didn't explain to them properly. If you can't convince the school it will be harder to convince IRCC. You should look for a course that focuses more on project management as the specialisation. Project management might only be a small part of the MBA programme you chose. To them, you look over-qualified and they have nothing new to teach you. If its the MBA you want to redo, explain your first MBA was inadequate (with some proof like your academic results) and you want to learn from seasoned professionals. It may be a tough sell but worth a shot. If Project Management is what you want then look for a course that will focus 100% on it.

If there is no group for University of Winnipeg for September 2023, and May group/ our neighbours University of Manitoba don't want to adopt us Let us form a new Whatsapp group. (I would very much like it to be combined with University of Manitoba since we will be living in the same city and our goals are common)

Good morning everyone. Please I need your clarification on this. We have a Land in my late mom's name, and I intend to use it as part of my home tiers in my Visa application.. so pls which legal document do I need to get in other to back up this claim as the next of kin

If your mom is late, shouldn't the land be in probate so it can be put into the inheritor's name? It might not work if it is not in your name and no chance of a gift deed.

Please is there another link for application, the gckey is really not responding

If you started with GCKey you will have to finish with it unless you don't mind starting over again. There might be a platform update going on if it's unusable in a day. If it is persistent for a few days contact them directly. I am not sure if the new portal does study permit. I was advised by my school to use GCkey.

Please can someone help me with this ,,

If it is GCkey keep refreshing. That site is problematic but it will get the job done.

Hello..guys,
Is yellow fever card a requirement to travel from naija?
Cos, these immigration people can be asking of all sort of documents to frustrate passengers.

Yellow Fever Card is only for Africa/West Africa travel. North America, Europe and other regions have no business with it.
