usetime: let's harp on this 3rd c thing again. In my school.. You will surely know if you will end up with a first class or 3rd class by the end of your first year... This is based on your personal assessment of the course work, teachers, your intelligence quotient, your ability to cheat (and pass) and your weaknesses. For me, as at my 2nd year semester, I already knew I was a 2nd class lower student for the course.. So I doubled my effort and always hung on the border line between 2nd class lower (50.0) and Second class upper (60.0)... I only managed to slip into the upper group in my final year second semester... In fact, I didn't believe it until I collected my certificate. In my school, 1 student dies atleast once every two - three years from suicide and thats a guaranteed fact due to poor grades.. they are almost always in their 3rd year.. The last one I remember jumped from a 7 story building girls hostel.. Poor sucker.. Students who are forced to read a course they cant handle nor love normally are able to predict their graduating grade... |

Dual Core: These tokens do their work but the hardware does not last. My first token didn't stay a year before i noticed a small crack on the screen which grew into a bigger crack and the ink spread accross the screen. Maybe its not the Token thats the problem but you who is careless.. I have owned a GTbank token for over two years, a first bank token and a Diamond bank token (which is as big as a calculator) and they are all functioning just fine... When next you get one, go meet your nearest welder to make you a metal pouch for it.. ![]() GTBank rocks.. ![]() 5 Likes |

codedkay: He attributes his healing with conditions what a joke is this? Why is it a Joke?! JOHN 9: 6-7 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. This is Jesus healing somebody with a condition.. Do you so-called christians even read your bibles again?! Or are you just talking stupid because its fireman?! |

401kk: Is your idea based on the premise that nigerians fear these deities more than the foreign ones? Its because the gods of our forefathers were known to be strict with justice.. In our rural villages, crimes are very low because of their presence.. If you doubt their potency, go slap a priest of Okija and see.. 1 Like |

ghostofsparta: If our sinators, legislooters, politicians, governors, ministers, commissioners, etc were made to swear whatever promises and manifestoes they meant before assuming office under the presence of our deities (Amadioha, Shango, Ogun, Shokpona) wouldn't their be 25hours of electricity supply and good roads and other social amenities. The argument of the possibility that the swearer can go back and offer something to the priests in order to revert the effect of the oath made can be easily resolved by televising the whole process on NTA or AIT where the politician/president/governor will be making such an oath with the provisio that in the event of him/her attempting to reverse the sworn oath...may 'so so and so' happen. That condition of the oath and the 'so, so and so' provisio would be an an agreed upon 'curse'. I know many would disagree with this harsh measure because of their glean to foreign religions brought onto them by European colonialists and Arab jihadists. Abrahamic religions that have rendered our society retrogressive ans decadent since 1914. You are a wise man and only the gods could have given you such an insight... It is high time we as Africans go back to our roots.. The foreign Gods have proven to be quite powerless towards stopping evil in the land.. It is high time we fashion our democracy such that we make all contestants swear by some of the most powerful deities in the land.. If you are not a believer, then you cant serve us.. The Jewish God and the Persian God have both failed us woefully.. May the gods of our forefathers continue to bestow such brilliant ideas in your head. 6 Likes |

Its funny how Christians and believers in Christ will find it so easy to tongue lash Pastor Sign Fireman, yet curse at those who diss Oyedepo and Adeboye.. Like where is the sense in that?! Dr. Sign Fireman's healing of Pa Enebeli is no different from the way a Pastor Chris Oyakhilome would heal people at a Total Experience crusade... Nor from the way Oyedepo would have healed others at one of those his Winners Chapel annual Crusade!! Why then is Dr. Sign Fireman singled out for such attacks.. And the Dr. Fireman guy is at least humble enough to grant interviews to explain the circumstance around some of the controversies trailing him and his ministry.. Oyedepo and co are so arrogant that they do not believe that we are worthy of any explanation whatsoever, otherwise, where is Oyedepos interview to explain why he and his ministry have been interfering in a Police investigation into the missing girl in his church?! Where is Oyakhilomes explanation into why his security men are always attacking journalists that come around his church example is the British reporter that did the Sign Fireman expose'. On the 'I' and not 'God', if the bible tells us according to the book of John 14, 10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Now if you believe this scripture, whenever he says I, it is the father living in him that is talking... AND TO THINK THAT EVEN I WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD KNOWS THIS..... I am highly disappointed in the hypocrisy of Christians towards Dr. Sign Fireman.. ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Kidnappers are not killers.. What even baffles me in his story was that they even took him into a town.. Normally, you are tied and left in a forrest. When he ran and started shouting, there was o way he was gonna be shot when there were people around... At that point the kidnapper(s) is only thinking of his escape... Except yo have been kidnapped by guys whose instructions are to kill you.. Most kidnapping always have a happy ending.. |

LIke I said in the other two threads ... Kidnappings in the Niger Delta today has nothing to do with MEND.. 95% are closer home than you can imagine.. I am glad Obodo now knows better.. Unfortunately, the Nigerian Police didnt actually rescue him, but there is no denying that they set the atmosphere for his escape.. Lesson to all.. If you ever get kidnapped, try and be calm and rational.. You can only win when you place yourself on a higher mental and psychological plane than your captors, remember they are panicked and under stress of not being caught. Be nice, obedient and calculating.. There will always be that window of escape.. You need to be smart and calm to see it when it opens and exploit it.. There was a case of a colleagues wife that was kidnapped at the height of kidnapping in port-harcourt.. When they took her to the bush, she found out that it was a kidnapping ring as there were other women and young girls there as well. They were kept in the bush too (this is done by kidnappers so even if you get released, they cant tie your location to anyone).. Anyways, she said they were fed 1 pure water and 20naira biscuit a day.. FINISH.. She had been there for almost 5 days.. One evening, she just started to wriggle around and somehow freed herself from her restraints, took off her blind fold and saw that there was nobody watching over them.. She immediately got up, checked to see that the coast was clear and then proceeded to free the others.. The baffling part of her tale was that about 3 other women refused to be freed because they were scared that the Kidnappers were around and watching.. Anyways, she escapes with 2 other women, leaving those ones who refused behind.. They just stealthily yet hastily walked through the bush in no particular direction, she said around near morning, they came across people who were out picking snails that pointed them to the express road.. Once on the express road, they ran and flagged down every car that passed.. That was when a police van stopped and picked them up.. The police also tracked and rescued those left behind.. But the moral of the story is, there will be a chance for you to escape.. You need a calm clear mind to see and exploit it.. Goodluck Mr. Obodo. |

ekwah: What does Rochas Okorocha do for a living... How does he make his money?! |

kinguwem: University administrators and lecturers in Nigeria are lazy. The main source of funding in universities abroad is research grants. Students also benefit from scholarships. If governments, corporate bodies and NGOs are committed, the project is possible. Once more.. The government already has so much on its plate to be concerned with Rochas' Free University scheme which is nothing more than an ill-thought out political move.. If he builds one, he should make sure he can finance it.. Government has no hand in Covenant, Igbinadion, Babcock and co... And do you know what it takes for a university abroad to be able to attract sponsors of their project?! Do you think its as easy as getting sponsors for a Night of a thousand laughs? |
