In addendum ,I will tell you based on experience that lasu don't adhere strictly to ur post utme/ screening score. Don't be shocked that a candidate with 50% who is a lagosian might be on the first admission list before you. Nigeria is who know who, I won't say or than that.

Brother it might not be a mistake. Many candidate don't consult the jamb brochure before choosing there course into Lasu. There is an expected subject combination required of you, especially mathematics which happens to be required to be part of the subject combination. Many shy away from it and go for the irrelevant and thus become difficult in gaining admission.

Hello everyone! I am of the department of Economics, 300level, Lagos State University. Usually, I come here every year to render advice and assistance to anyone reasonable, being that I went through alot before gaining admission into the world class "Lasu".

Studying in Lagos State University is worth it , even more than you think as it gives you the opportunity to joining it's world class students in the "Ready set work" initiative powered by the Lagos State Government to train us and empower us with skills to become either employable or successful entrepreneur, just to mention a few.

That girl could be your messiah when the marriage come through in the Long run. She might be the reason why you you may be blessed in future....all you need now is to evaluate her propensity to be that Focused goal getter and blessed wife whom all Men are looking forward to.

Rethink it before you finalise your decision. I have almost the same issue with you but I thought it this way; am not looking for a woman that will shower me with her wealth but a woman that will magnet heavenly favor towards our family as the word says....he that finds a wife, found a good thing and obtains favor from God.

Lastly, pray and be slow to react, she's still young and please don't underate her cos if you do....you might just end up being a servant in her future Husband's company.

I Googled Fossu to see if there was any blog or official website owned by them. But I find non, better still I was linked to this page. It's disheartening to bring to your notice that benefit such as bursary and scholarships have discovered that we've been abandoned in our respective schools far back as 2009 when I wi was with Moshood abiola polythecnic (Mapoly). We can come up with something like a social media campaign to protest this abandonment.

Am not saying dey won't bur, during our time the person that had such that got admission had an uncle at the admission office. There are loads of options with high scores on there desk.

To all the DE aspirants asking where to address their transcripts to, I will advice you to come to school urself and do all the findings, especially this time that the admission is around the corner, you need to be visiting sch to seek for more information or better still, seek the help of someone who is a student to be helping you if you are not in Lagos, but if you stay in Lagos, do the findings urself, admission officers are very friendly, I went there to consult for a friend about some weeks ago and I will tell you that they are very helpful if you ask sensible questions...To DE aspirants, from my findings at the admission office, if you are a polytechnic graduate, minimum entry requirements is lower credit,for A'level aspirants, you must have a minimum of 9points ,minimum of second class upper division for direct entry to Medicine and surgery, dentistry.


To Utme candidates,start preparing hard for the post utme, if you choose lasu as most preferred, and scored well above 200 in jamb ,plus a very good score in post utme,you are safe, even if you do not later meet up with the cut off for ur chosen course, you will surely be given admission but to another course .
If you choose lasu as preferred, well,anything is possible but work harder and pray.
Given admission is one,but the most important thing is making sure ur subject combo and O'level results are in line with the course chosen,though some might be lucky and have their course changed during screening and some will be sent packing.

Go for ur state dear,choose lasu and prepare well for jamb ,then after jamb,the post utme is not that difficult compare to unilag, just simple mathematics unlike unilag wey go give you further maths join,I saw some guys That are not frm Lagos but chose lasu and score 50 been given admission .

Mehn! That must be for those newly introduced courses or those that had strong leg in lasu. As it is now you should target nothing less than 65 to enter Lasu o.

I want you to know that in Lasu law is a highly competitive course and mostly favours indigenes over non indigene. A senior lecturer once told me that the policy is 70 to 30, which means if you are not an indigene you must be able to top the chat of best aggregate if you need the course. **prepare Hard**

I don't know were to start from, but I just gained admission into the University (Lagos State university) and i am the sole sponsor of my education. I have settled all bills including accommodation and have been cleared by the authorities, but shortly after paying for my accommodation with the last dime I've got (38,000) we had a notice to pay 25300 as our school fees on or before 11th january. Sincerely, all I've got as am posting this here is 5,000 and I don't want my dream to study Economics to be shattered. Am an home lesson teacher before I gained admission and that I intend using to sponsor myself but presently am having a bad timing at the moment.
