Religion / My Journey To The Book Of Life by Aphorism(m): 10:47am On May 15, 2017
As I was going to Genesis City through Exodus road. On the way, I saw L eviticus recording the Numbers of people at
Deuteronomy , while Joshua was waiting at the beautiful gate for J udges to see Ruth calling loudly “ Samuel! Samuel!!. At a stage, the, first and second Kings of Chronicles were coming to visit Ezra, Nehemiah and
Esther for the misfortune of Job
their brother. Then they noticed that King Psalms was teaching his children Proverbs
concerning E cclesiastes and
Songs of Solomon. This coincided with the period that I saiah and Jeremiah were engaged in Lamentation for
Ezekiel and Daniel their friend. By that time, Amos and Obadiah were not around. Three days later, Hosea, Joel and Jonah
traveled in the same ship with
Micah and Nahum to Jerusalem. Habakkuk then visited
Zephaniah who introduced him to Haggai a friend of Zechariah
whose cousin is... Read more @ www.aphorismcity.
Religion / Trust That Can Never Fail by Aphorism(m): 7:02am On May 09, 2017
Trust is a word that people love to use a lot and enjoy getting it from people but most people lack this word TRUST, they found it difficult to be trusted, I’m not saying I’m a saint here, but we all want to earn trust and some of us lack the trust either indirectly or directly, voluntarily or not, we lack it in way.
Trust can be seen as reliance or dependence on something, allow me to say it’s simply faith because if we look at it critically they both work hand in hand. Trust is a two side of a coin;
The first side is you to be trusted like people will say tested and trusted. Before you can be trusted you need to have some qualities and potentials that people will see in you, not even people alone this time around, God also, you need to show yourself to be approve. Several tests are in line for you before you can be trusted just as God tested Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac in Gen 22:1 , he passed the test and he was trusted to be the farther of nations, what about Joseph he was tested to fornicate with Potiphar’s wife in Gen. 39:7 , he also passed and he was trusted with the whole land of Egypt
(Gen 41:40), what can you say about the SMA (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) in
Daniel 2 , they were tested to commit idolatry, they passed and they were trusted by to the extent that the king make a decree to serve their God, not only that, they also gain promotion in the province of Babylon. Daniel 3:28-30 . Let’s talk about Our Lord Jesus who was tested by the people and the devil but he passed and the salvation of men was put in his hands.
Now let’s talk about us, what is that test that we a passing through now, and we are thinking, yea this is the opportunity to explore forgetting that it is just a test which might result into a trust that might be a blessing unto us and other people. I beseech you not to take the advantage, choose between the good and the bad, wrong and right. All these can come into place by trusting yourself.
The second side is you trusting other people because if you can’t trust yourself you can’t trust anyone and that is difficult to achieve if you can’t trust yourself, I understand that people can be illusory sometimes but not all people. You may find it difficult to trust, I can help you with that by trusting God first before any other thing, (Matthew 27:43) before you can trust in God you have to believe in him by accepting Jesus as you Lord and your Saviour. When you believe in him you have faith in him which is the trust you need. Immediately you believe in Jesus, have faith in him, you see that there will be this inner peace (Romans 5:1). The inner peace will make you trust yourself and other people.
You might have failed yourself; you might have failed other people but trust in God can never and will never fail. Shalom! Read more @ www.aphorismcity.
Religion / How The Apostles Died by Aphorism(m): 4:03pm On May 02, 2017
I was surfing through the INTERNET and I saw this, so I decided to share, been a Christian is not by Mouth oooo, we should always be on the go for Jesus!
HOW THE APOSTLES DIED.
1. Matthew
Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword
wound.
2. Mark
Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by
Horses through the streets until he was dead.
3. Luke
Was hanged in Greece as a result of his
tremendous Preaching to the lost.
4. John
Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge
Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution
In Rome. However, he was miraculously
delivered From death.
John was then sentenced to the mines on the
prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic
Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle
John was later freed and returned to serve As
Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as
an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully
5. Peter
He was crucified upside down on an x-shaped
cross.
According to church tradition it was because he
told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In
the same way that Jesus Christ had died.
6. James
The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was
thrown over a hundred feet down from the
southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he
refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they
discovered that he survived the fall, his
enemies beat James to death with a fuller’s club.
* This was the same pinnacle where Satan had
taken Jesus during the Temptation.
7. James the Son of Zebedee,
was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him
to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of
the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem.
The Roman officer who guarded James watched
amazed as James defended his faith at his trial.
Later, the officer Walked beside James to the
place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he
declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt
beside James to accept beheading as a
Christian.
8. Bartholomew
Also known as Nathaniel Was a missionary to
Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day
Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his
preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to
death by a whip.
9. Andrew
Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras,
Greece. After being whipped severely by seven
soldiers they tied his body to the cross with
cords to prolong his agony. His followers
reported that, when he was led toward the cross,
Andrew saluted it in these words: ‘I have long
desired and expected this happy hour. The cross
has been consecrated by the body of Christ
hanging on it.’ He continued to preach to his
tormentors For two days until he expired.
10. Thomas
Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of
his missionary trips to establish the church in the
Sub-continent.
11. Jude
Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny
his faith in Christ.
12. Matthias
The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas
Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.
13. Paul
Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil
Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured
a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to
write his many
epistles to the churches he had formed
throughout the Roman Empire. These letters,
which taught many of the foundational Doctrines
of Christianity, form a large portion of the New
Testament.
Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our
sufferings here are indeed minor compared to
the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced
by the apostles and disciples during their times
For the sake of the Faith. And ye shall be hated
of all men for my name’s sake: But he that
endureth to the end shall be saved.
Pass on to encourage other Christians
Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer,
But stay awake through a 3 hour movie?
Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY
BOOK,
But find it easy to read other books?
Why is it so easy to ignore a msg about God?

1. Turn around, if you can’t go forward then go
back. Numbers 14:1-4 (I pray you will never go
back)
2. You can try and go around the mountain,
but the problem is you might not know how
big the mountain is and how long it will take
to go around it.
It took 40 years for the
children of Israel. Number 14:34
3. You can choose to climb the mountain.
climbing the mountain requires efforts.
Matthew 17:1
4. You may choose to create a tunnel through
it, once you go through it, it will still remain
behind you. Exodus 14:21-28 .
5. You may choose to blast it and turn it to
rubbles. Josuha 6:20
6. You may choose to sit on it, you can control
your problems and turn it into your strength (a
testimony). 2Kings 1:9-12 , 2Kings 4:8-12 .
7. Finally you may choose to fly over it, you
will just be looking down at it. How do I fly
over mountains? Isaiah 40:31
Is there a mountain in your life and how do
you want to deal with it. ?
Put it to JESUS today
Source here
I think I will love to fly over it, I don’t know about you ? But it is not easy! But with prayer and fasting, to crown it all with God all things are possible. Read more @ www.aphorismcity.
Religion / Lions Save Pastor And His Friends From Attack By Islamic Extremists by Aphorism(m): 3:44pm On Apr 28, 2017
A pastor who is ministering in the Middle East was reportedly saved by lions who prevented a group of Islamic extremists from attacking him and a group of Christians. Pastor Paul Ciniraj’s story seems like a story straight out of the Bible. Pastor Paul detailed the modern-day miracle on his ministry’s website. “My risen Lord Jesus Christ has saved my life once again,” Pastor Paul wrote, “and I praise and thank God for His unspeakable grace!” Before the attack when the lion saved him, Pastor Paul had been attacked by another group of Islamic extremists. He had escaped and was recovering at the home of a former Muslim who was a Christian convert. The man’s home was near a forest area. Pastor Paul led worship services there. On Easter Sunday, while a group of believers was gathered and he was leading one such service, militants came upon them, brandishing weapons. “We had no idea what to do,” Pastor Paul recalled. The group of Christians thought they were all about to die. Just then, a lion appeared out of the forest and began to attack one of the militants. The other two militants tried to fight the lion off, but then two more lions appeared. The militants ran away in fear and the lions left Pastor Paul and his group alone. “Equally astonishing,” Pastor Paul added, “records show no lions are supposed to live in that forest Read more @ www.aphorismcity.
