I must add, Blogger is best for beginners for many reasons.

But you'll be needing a few things to make the experience smoother for you.

Things like good blogger template. I use and prefer iVTemplates premium blogger templates due to the support they provide and their commitment to make you succeed as a blogger for using their template.

A custom domain for your blogger is a requirement.

Also, you'll be needing a Cloudflare account. You can register a free account. It'll be sufficient for you till you can afford a premium account.

Contrary to what many believes, getting your site or blog approved for the Google AdSense program is not really difficult and does not take time as you may have been made to believe, you just have to do it the right way. There is no shortcut or bypassing it. Just the right way.

Now, let's proceed. Shall we?


To Get Your Website or Blog Approved for the Google AdSense Program:


1. Get Your Website or Blog Up and Running:

By getting your site or blog up and running I mean, ensure that your site or blog is ready, available and can be accessed via any of its protocols. For example; ensure that either your site is visited using https://yourDomain . com, http:// yourDomain . com, https:// www. yourDomain . com or www . yourDomain . com, the visitor arrives at your website without any errors.


If you are not using your https protocols, ensure it automatically redirects to the non-https version. If you prefer using the blank domain thus the yourDomain . com version without the www, ensure they all arrive at the same location.


To achieve that is really simple. If you're using WordPress, your host most likely already has all that preconfigured for you. You may also crosscheck by visiting your site from all or nearly all of the protocols. It does you no harm to crosscheck and be on the safer side. Right?


2. Publish Your Primary Pages: your site or blog primary pages are the "home" page, "contact us" page, "privacy policy" page, "terms" page.


You might be wondering if the "about us" page is necessary? Well, it's not a must.

Nearly all the blogs and websites we have gotten approved for the Google AdSense program, for most, in under 24 hours; has no about us page before we got them approved though, the respective businesses and owners of the blogs and websites may have uploaded their "about us" page later on.


With that said, contrary to the other notes, the "about us" page is not really a requirement for the AdSense Program.

Google does not really want to know you in person and does not care if your visitors want to know you or not however, Google does really care to know if you or your business can be contacted, has policies and terms (usage guidelines) in place for visitors and if you really have a blog or website homepage that is humanly readable, meaningful and friendly.


And here is the logic that actually gets your site or blog Google's approval in the AdSense program at first try; make sure your main pages are meaningful and pass a clear message. For example; your "contact us" page should clearly indicates what the page is meant for just as your homepage should also reflect mainly on what your site or blog is all about.


3. Have A Good Navigation Links In the Right Place: your site or blog navigation links can also be referred to as your blog or site Menu. Before Google considers your site or blog eligible to be enrolled in the AdSense program, Google wants to make sure that you are really serious about your blog or site and that you also mean business just as much as they do.


The most important links for your site or blog could be the Homepage, Contact Us, Our Service (if you have any), your important post archive links and others.


Arrange the links in order of their importance (to you) and place them in the head section or by the left side bar. It could be fixed (draw as page scrolls) or not. Just make it really visible enough to depict the importance of the links.


4. Publish Your Secondary Pages: your secondary pages are your blog posts or tutorial pages. Before you apply for the Google AdSense program and expect to get approval, you must have gotten at the least, 5 good blog posts or tutorial pages.


For the blog posts or tutorial pages, it's hard to say the preferred length but I do notice what we have in common in all the posts and pages we have used in those blogs and sites for which we have successfully gotten AdSense approval at the first try is that; we ensure those posts are meaningful, blunders-free and pass a clear message.


In those blog posts and pages, there are some with less than 250 words while others are much longer, we just make sure they're blunders-free and pass clear message.


5. Apply for the Google AdSense Program: now you can apply for the Google AdSense program and expect to get approval at the first try.


Meanwhile, before you apply for the Google AdSense program, take a few minutes to check other issues (highlighted below) that may get your websites or blogs denied approval in the AdSense program.



Some Mistakes that Get Your Website or Blog Denied Approval in the Google AdSense Program

1. Not Being Original: Do not copy-paste content directly or indirectly from any other posts or pages. Either the site or blog is actively running AdSense or not, it is considered an abusive act in the AdSense program and Google does not condole such an act.



2. Broken Links: broken links simply means links that end up in error 404 page or links that end up nowhere.

Before you apply for the Google AdSense program, ensure all the links in your site or blog posts and pages actually link to an active page (internal or external).

3. Linking to the Bad Actors: never make the mistake of linking your site or blog to the Bad actors' site or blog.


In the Google AdSense program, the bad actors are those blogs or websites that are already banned or disallowed from the AdSense program and this includes those sites or blogs that do not respect the Google's content policy such as porn sites, site or blogs that upload copyrighted files or content etc.


4. Linking to Irrelevant or Low Quality Pages: low quality or irrelevant pages are those pages whose content are not relevant in any way to the content of the particular blog posts or page of your blog or site that links to them. Linking to these kind of pages or posts has reverse effects on your blog posts and pages (as well) which are not acceptable by Google at least, not by the Google AdSense program policy.


5. Use of Copyrighted Materials: avoid the use of copyrighted materials in your blog posts especially; images. Do not use images belonging to other brands or individuals in an abusive manner. If you must use images in your posts and pages, there are royalty free sites such pexels.com that have thousands of stock photos uploaded. You can go there, search and make use of anyone that suits your needs.


6. Ensure your site or blog niche is acceptable in the Google AdSense program:

For example, e-commerce websites are not allowed in the AdSense program. Be sure you take note of that. The full list of the niche not acceptable in the AdSense program are here in the Google AdSense Policy Guidelines.

Is it Really Possible to Get AdSense Account Approved In Under 24 Hours?


Yes. Why not? As at the time this page is being published, AdSense account application are usually reviewed within 24 hours. In worst cases, within 48 hours. How Much Traffic Should My Blog or Website Generate Before I Can Apply for AdSense?

That file is definitely hosted outside WP rather, it is hosted on an external server.
