As seen on a Facebook group. A young man Jethro Akila narrated how he was assaulted and extorted by some police officers in Jos.

According to the young man, He said,

" I was kidnapped by the Nigerian Police officers on the 20th of January, 2021 from a Keke after Rockfield. On my way to Maintain Adikko in Rayfield at 4pm.

Not up to a minute after the Keke rider stopped to pick a passenger near a probably illegal checkpoint. These men in uniform recklessly stopped the vehicle in the middle of the road and before we knew what was going on, the dragged me out of the Keke accompanied by series of slaps and blows aimed directly at my head.

They continued in that fashion whilst loading me into their navy blue Ford pickup truck with registration number "02E69PL". I noticed 'State Command's and 'Patrol 02' boldly printed on their vehicle's side.

These men kept on physically assaulting me with assorted melee weapons (sticks) while driving to a secluded area. That road that link to the Rayfield Golf Club from Elims. Once there, one of the officers was going through my pockets and another was ransacking my bag.

All this time, I was being held against my will and the only reason they gave was that 'they overhead me calling them thieves' (which I didn't). They found 34,500 Naira on me, they confiscated #30k and left me with 4,500.

My phone wasn't spared from the brutality either, as one of the blows aimed at my legs hit the phone. Probably damaging it beyond repair.

Luckily, the Keke rider followed the truck as they whisked me away and saw when they left me at the secluded spot. He gave me a ride to where I got my wounds cleaned and subsequently to Be Division in Bukuru to lodge a formal complaint. 

The officers there weren't of any help and even threatened to lick me up for having that amount of cash on me( apparently, I'm too young to have #34k). I intend to take this case seriously and make sure I get justice because I still saw the perpetrators manning another checkpoint at the same area today. This should never happen to anyone else, I'm still in severe pains.

This happens to an average young Nigerians everyday. Let's get justice and put the perpetrators to book.

Again in 2019, Forbes comes up with the same headline, asking why China is investing heavily in Africa, for Forbes to be keen on this, there must be some valid reasons to narrow down on.
Nigeria is the largest economy In Africa, and the rate at which the Chinese have invaded the economy in the last 10 to 15 years has been incredible, while there are benefits to this, it is time for people to understand the price we have to pay for such things. Africa and mostly Nigeria have become the dumping ground for Chinese products, including granting aids and support to African leaders; and asking for African natural resources in return if they are not able to pay. Should we call this a slave trade 2.0?

He is now threatened to leave the house forcefully and gentrified as well as being racially profiled by a Simon Frasier University (SFU) professor named Zou Gueng Ye and his accomplice Amy Lau. Both of them will go through any length to frustrate Kayode by bribing officers of the law, the police in picking up every political credit they have in that society without regard for human right.
Kayode has been harassed, vilified in his own house that he paid for, and paid for all the maintenances. The house in question was met in a bad condition but was able to refurbish the building and renovate a larger part of the building, and personally redesigned it. After doing all that, he was suddenly told to pack his things, and move out of the house with an excuse that their daughter is about to resume at the school close to the building, and they will want her to take possession of the building.
This is a scam at the height of it! Nigeria has been branded for many scams in the mainstream news, but some facts indicate that Nigeria is not the leading country when it comes to setting up scams. There are countries such as China that have created bigger scams, one of which this situation insinuates. But as it is, no mainstream news is pushing this into their news.
Kayode is a stand out contributor during his time at school, a natural-born leader who contributes towards his community through donations, and had given out his apartment to students who needed help in whatever way. Being gentrified from a building you have occupied and invested in for over 10 years is an assault and racial abuse.
The Canadian government needs to show more care for their black citizens and immigrants if such situation can happen to Kayode, who is a second-generation immigrant and a known Canadian, what more can we say for those who could not speak up based on their immigration situation, or if they are an international student?
It is important that Nigerian people and all African countries take a note of how Chinese treats their people in Africa and abroad; and think of how to better partner with them or if they should even consider partnering with a racially abusive people. Africa will be great, and we do not need the influx of debt from places such as China to make it so. We do not need another young man to be abused in his own home or traumatized about his rights on his fatherland. Africa and Africans are not for sale.

I  don't know where to start my story, but I will try and explain it carefully.

I'm twenty-four years old, the first child of my parents. my dad owns a big church and other branches in big cities and towns.

I can't completely remember when it all started, but I remember my dad always fingering me as early as five years old. as soon as I clocked ten, the long wait was over for my dad; he came to my room at night and molested me! I still remember the pains and the weight of his body on top of me. I woke and told my mum what happened, she told me to shout up, insulted me, she said all manner of things to me that my brain had to delete them.

she finally told my dad what I said, but he told her no one would believe her, in fact, this revelation gave him more confidence to sleep with me whenever he desired to,. the best my mum could do was give me paracetamol to relieve me of the pains I felt between my thigh. when she couldn't take it anymore, she reported him to families, they all told her to protect her mum.

I was sent to boarding by my mum, so as to reduce the frequent sex, which my dad almost killed her for. I was saved the all night wife's duty, but every mid-term break we had, I was all my dad ever wanted; from the living room to bedroom to bathroom, cars, name it all. the molest session doubled from once every day to two-three times a day. my mum did nothing, I also lost the hope and energy to resist, all I do is lay on the bed for him to do what he wants, while I go clean up after everything.

I gained admission into the university, though in the same location. I tried going into a relationship just to have a normal life, but my dad will fight, chase, and curse any man he sees around me. as soon as he chases them, the next thing is for him to come and rape me without minding who is around or not.

men got tired of chasing me, I'm old enough to be in a serious relationship, but no one is coming forth. I decided to pay my mum back in her coin, for refusing to protect me when I needed it most. 

Now, I go to my dad and demand sex from him. yes, I know what you're thinking. with my younger ones away in a boarding school makes it easier. we sleep on the same bed, go out on a date, bath together, etc. she has insulted, reported me to people that I'm destroying her home, but she didn't reveal the whole details. Currently there is not sufficient knowledge on the causes of breast cancer, therefore, early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control. When breast cancer is detected early, and if adequate diagnosis and treatment are available, there is a good chance that breast cancer can be cured. If detected late, however, curative treatment is often no longer an option. In such cases, palliative care to relief the suffering of patients and their families is needed.(WHO).

Few months later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, everyone congratulated her and was received back in church but of course she was punished for a year,her punishment?
1) No one should carry her baby in church.
2)She should always sit at the back of the church.
3) she should continue attending rehearsals but wouldn't minister on week days and Sundays for a year.

She did all these religiously for Eleven month and then the baby was almost three year old. Few weeks to finishing her punishment she was called in front of the church and commended by the pastor for standing strong all through the period.

Few weeks after,she found out she was pregnant! Not again....Not now.... She said.
