TV/Movies / Who Are Those That Click Dislike On Youtube Video by ayeakamara(m): 10:38pm On Dec 19, 2013
Have you ever think about it before? There is no how a video might look, there will always be some people who will dislike the video. Have never seen a video with up to 50,000 view without dislike no matter how cool the video is. For example, when I was your man by bruno mars has over 25,000 dislikes. I swear it amaze me. Do you think google have some kind of robots that automatically dislike any video posted on youtube so no video will be too perfect?

Drop your suggestions.

Health / Have You Ever Been Cured Of Staphylococcus? by ayeakamara(m): 10:39pm On Nov 23, 2013
I'm tired of the staph infection. i discovered I'm infected with staph around late 2006. ever since, i have been trying to cure it but it seems to over power the drugs I'm using to battle it as time goes on. i have used oko-oloyun drugs, ciprofloxacin tablet and few herbal medicines. i read different stories online and i have never read from anyone who got cured of the stubborn infection.

I read of a guy who spent 250k, he even traveled to UK hospital hoping to be cured but it was futile. i have waited for 4 years without using any drug (Orthodox/Herbal) on it. now i have saved enough money and ready to battle it once and for all. but before then, I'd like to ask/know if its curable and if anyone has been cured of it before so it wont be a waste of time and money. please serious contributors only.

P.S: I have been having series of symptoms as long as i could remember before discovering it was a staph infection after going for a lab test in late 2006. please don't mind my English. the staph frustrated me during secondary school days and i had to drop out of school in SS 2.

Mods, i will be glad if it made FP. i need quick responses. its getting late sad

Health / Have You Tasted/seen A Prepared Moringa Tea Before? by ayeakamara(m): 10:41pm On Oct 11, 2013
I bought a moringa tea from juli pharmacy at Ikeja. the tea costs 980. Its my first try. i have been hearing a lot about the leave/tea. to my greatest surprise, after preparing the tea as instructed on the pack of the tea, the water looks whitish gray, nothing seems to pop into the water like Lipton does. initially i thought its because i put 2 bags of the tea into the mug half filled with water. i tried again this night with 4 bags of the same tea, its still the same with a little bit grayer and tastes a bit different from water.

I have been a Juli pharmacy customer since 2009 and they never sell fake product. i buy all of my drugs there because i am wary of fake drugs/product. thats why i am confused right now, because i dont know if this is how all moringa tea looks like or maybe this particular one is a fake. please i will appreciate your quick responses. thanks in advance
Nairaland / General / Accident At Ajayi Far, Ikeja Along by ayeakamara(m): 2:26pm On Jun 06, 2013
According to eye witnesses. Police van was chasing a bike man, along oshodi-agege express way. The bike man was speeding on the express way trying to out-run the police van, it crossed infront of a speeding truck carrying a container, the truck driver applied the break while on speed and this made the container it was carrying fell off on an Eko Refrigerated Meat Van and this total the Meat Van. I'm not sure if there is any survivor or not. I'm still at the place and emergency team are still there, trying to move the container and rescue the victims. May Almighty God always guard and protect Us.

P.S: I'm trying to upload photos I took my a blackberry now, but the pictures seems not uploading. I dunno the reason though.

Health / Does Cutting Onions Everyday Affects The Eyes? by ayeakamara(m): 12:36am On May 19, 2013
Good day Nairalanders and doctors in the house. I'm a bachelor and I do my cooking myself because I don't like buying food outside. But each time I'm cooking I'm always afraid of cutting the onions because it tends to hurt my eyes while cutting it. But I don't have choice than to cut it and put it in my food because I like onions and its always presence in my foods.

Lately I am feeling some kinda pains in my eyes, sometimes my eyes are heavy and I will feel like closing it/sleeping during the day. Water drops from my eyes each time I lie down in my bed (mostly at nights) which make me ask this question; does cutting onions often affect the eyes? (I don't know what hurts the eyse while cutting onions, maybe its the fragrance who knows) lease I need a urgent reply. Thanks in advance

Phones / MTN Blackberry Complete (BBC) Is Still 1,500 by ayeakamara(m): 12:12pm On May 11, 2013
I read few days ago on NL that BBC on mtn network is now 1,000 naira instead of 1,500. i was happy reading the news because I'm a MTN customer. early this morning i got a text from MTN informing me that my BBC/BIS has expired. i tried to re-subscribe for another one month package (BBC) and the price is still 1500 instead of the supposed 1000 naira. i just wished to share it on NL if anyone experience it as well.

PS: I don't know if this is the right section to post this. Mods and Super mods please help move it to the right section

Health / Scared Of Going For HIV Test by ayeakamara(m): 10:24pm On Apr 03, 2013
Good day Nairalanders, pls I need a urgent response on this issue. My face is so rough with acne. They are so tiny and plenty. Sometimes people ask what's this? And when I tell them pimple, they will say 'taa dis one no b pimpu jare' I'm planning on consulting a dermatologist at lasuth soon and here is where the problem lies.

I'm aware that HIV test will be carried out on me first. I'm not sure if I'm + or - and I have never done the test before. I'm really not scared of doing the test what I'm scared of is if I tested positive will they detain me there? I know this sounds funny but I have watched it in a nollywood movie before. Someone tested + and he was detained and never allowed to go out again while giving him treatment. Is that how its done or that's just a movie ish?

Please I need urgent response because I will like to consult the dermatologist this weekend. I'm tired of this acne!!! I don't have any GF because of this face. Abeg matured response only. Thanks in advance

PS: please don't mind my english, I'm actually an SS 2 drop-out

Lagusta:

Boss, don't even TRY going to a herbal centre, or making baba drink those stuff, they just worsen the prognosis.....

Lasuth is okay, if they won't go on strike again grin

In fact, any good hospital with sane doctors will do...

Lol @ Lasuth going on strike. Thanks bawz for the contribution. I think we should stick to orthodox for now. We are been asked to the MRI test/scan so they can know what type of stroke it is.

Thanks all for your contribution, I really appreciate

lacicrips: I like these sort of questions.

What you need to do is register in a gym near you. From your post, I believe you're in Nigeria. If so I'd advise you get a home gym instead. Start by buying a set of barbell weights as gym membership might be on the high side for you. The last time I shopped at the mall I got them for N25k, should be higher now. Also get a set of barbell curl. If you can afford a bench pressing chair, good, else get a locally made one. My first bench was made by my furniture man.

Train 30-45mins three times a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Here's my current routine; it's beginner friendly too. I got them from a strenght training website. Google GOMAD.

Monday: Squat, Bench-Press, Barbell-Rows
Wednesday: Squat, Overhead-Press, Dead-Lift, Pull-ups
Friday: Squat, Bench-Press, Barbell-Rows

Those will give you what you're looking for. Go on Youtube and watch how to do each of the exercises properly. Don't forget to Google GOMAD too.

I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables - make banana your best friend. I also take a multivitamin. If you're not looking to spend much, buy Omega H3 and supradin. Also consider supplementing your diet, I'll post the ones I use and recommend later on.

I've also learnt it's good to break down your meals to 5-6 parts a day, meaning; eat 6 times everyday. Not just anyhow Nigerian meal. Eat beans, start taking oat meal in the morning instead of eba, make chicken & turkey your all time buddies. Beef too is very good. Try googling "proteinous meals", and see if you can get/afford some of them in Nigeria.

I'm tired, typing on my blackberry. Let me know how it goes though.
Cheers!

Thanks bruv, thanks for taking your time to type out this useful infos, i really appreciate. I will give it a trial too. and i don't mind if i can get a gymnasium of 20k around wink i think it will be easier and all the necessary gym equipment will be available there. Hmm, I like your body....you sexy smiley wink smiley

NB: I read on GOMAD and they mention 'whole milk' please give me an example of whole milk, cos i don't think peak milk is a whole milk

Properties / My Apartment Roof Leaks After Series Of Work On It by ayeakamara(m): 9:18pm On Nov 25, 2012
I just rented a mini flat apartment, the house is a brand new. i came back home from work on Tuesday and as i stepped in my room i noticed everywhere was wet. my bed turned to a jacuzzi. everywhere was flooded and it was as if there was no roof at all. i immediately inform my landlord and he called the carpenter guy to come and redo it first thing on Wednesday morning. the carpenter came and he removed all the asbestos and he carefully re-fix them back. he poured a bath of water on the roof to test if it will leak, but there was no leakages so my mind was at rest. on Thursday evening there was another rain and my room were so flooded, just like the first one. this is the 3rd carpenter that is working on the roof and they said he is good at roof work. am so worried now cos i paid 230k for this apartment. my worry is; can this roof leakages problem be solved? has anyone encounter such problem before? how did you solve it? please i need reply ASAP because I'm contemplating on getting back my money. this problem as been there since October. i just moved in last week Sunday because they just worked on the roof so we thought there won't be any leakages. abeg help me o! @achina boy
With my little experience of life, i confirm that there is truly a 'GENERATIONAL CURSE' i wish i can narrate the story of my life to you. Btw I'm not religious and i don't buy alfas or pastors stories. But with what is going on in my life, men i confirm generational curse exists gigigba
Religion / Do You Believe In Generational Curse by ayeakamara(m): 10:48am On Oct 07, 2012
I have been thinking about this 'generational curse' since late 2010. Each time i sit and reflect on my life and see how everything is going since my adolescence days, it seems everything is just working against me. There are some unseen forces working against me, i think there motive is to delay/stop me from doing good cos I'm destined to be rich.

My parents are poor and so are my families. I am the eldest son of my family and i have been facing serious problems, different form of problems that will sway me from fulfilling my destiny. I can say I'm a rich boy cos i have been able to do what most of my mate cannot do, i help most of my friends financially and most of them prays they are like me cos they believe that I'm rich. I have a goal in life but problems keeps surfacing and its killing my goals. Now i have come to conclusion that is a family problem. I'm so afraid because i don't want to live my life like my parents. I'm afraid of poverty. Because of this problem i dropped out of school in SS 2, I'm on another path to success now but another problem just popped up about 3 months ago and it has derailed me from the path. I MUST CONFESS, I'm tired of life ;( this experiences has made me an agnostic. Please share your experience.

@pdude.....I'm so certain that the first child is mine because she looks just like my younger bro and her 1 year old picture is just like mine. My mom says she (my baby) always remind her of my kid days cos she does just like me when i was her age. but the second child is not mine, because if its mine the girl (child mama) will have never hide it.

@slimyem.....i swear to almighty God, i was always protected when having sex with her late last year because i was taking Fulcine capsule. But when it happened the way it did, everyone including her family is saying condoms are not guaranteed and it leaks.

@ifyalways...... Thanks for the compliment. Heaven knows i am/was brilliant. I have been able to read and write from age 6 and my parents were proud of me. I'm like the hope of my family and I'm looking forward to the day i will take them out of poverty. This is why i think some evil forces sent the girl to ruin me because they can see what i might become in future. With all this happening, i have lost concentration and my brain no longer assimilate.

I'm hoping if her new baby dies maybe we can just end this! Although i don't plan to marry her and i pray never to have anything to do with her again. I have not been talking to her ever since i learnt that she is pregnant. I'm damn sure that she is on a mission to delay me. I pray she never succeed and i pray I'm free from this obstacles. Men i don hate life sad
