Two arrested, as police storm printing press where Ekiti election materials were printed

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal and some detectives from the command on Monday stormed a printimg press at Gbagada area of Lagos state where electoral materials are being printed.

It was gathered that the printing press located at No. 13 A and 13 B Oguntano Street, Gbagada, was allegedly owned by one Eniola Fayose.

It was also learnt that the owner who hails from Ikere in Ekiti state was not around when police stormed the place.

The Ekiti State Gubernatorial election is scheduled to hold on July 14, 2018.

As at press time today, the company's Admin/Human Resources Manager and graphic artist are being quizzed by detectives at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.

The State Police boss who briefed the media at the end of the raid said that on July 8, 2018, an intelligence report from a credible source was received by the command that fake ballot papers meant for the forthcoming Gubernatorial elections in Ekiti state are being printed in a company known as O'Naphtali Limited located on 13B Oguntona crescent, Gbagada, Lagos.

He said that the company is reportedly owned by one Eniola Fayose.

He said: "The report further revealed that some of the printed ballot papers were moved to Ekiti state in three Hilux vans on Friday July 6, 2018, while the art works are still in their graphic computers.

"Based on the report, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command immediately led a contingent of policemen to the location to verify the information. At the scene, it was discovered that the company has two buildings located at number 13 A and 13B Oguntona street, Gbagada phase 1, Lagos. It was also discovered that the two buildings are being used for general printing/art work."

Edgal who said that to ascertain what the houses where being used for a search warrant was executed on the premises, adding that the following items were recovered:

"One HP laptop, one Acer laptop, one Booklet of form EC/ EK 8B Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission EKSIEC; three EKEC 50 A envelop for miscellaneous materials, two pieces of Ekiti SEC , eight A(1) statement of result, one copy of form Ekiti SEC eight A(1), one income tax clearance certificate of Ekiti state , seven pieces of Ekiti state Internal revenue motor receipts, one piece of form EC 8A of Ekiti SEC, one piece of Ekiti State Voters card register log book cover for Ado local government, one piece of NECO mark / attendance sheet, Ekiti State Ministry of Education progress report for secondary school and one colour turn flash drive" he added.

Edgal said that preliminary investigations by the detectives led by him revealed that the company is owned by one Eniola Fayose, an indigene of Ikere, Ekiti state and that the company is said to be in a contractual agreement with the Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission to print the elections materials found during the search.

He said that the recovered laptops are being scrutinized by the police ICT experts with a view to discovering any incriminating information.

"Meanwhile, the Admin/Human Resources Manager and Graphics artist of the company are assisting the Police in the investigation.

“Further development will be communicated to the public in due course" he said.

Baba Habib Fasinro is 99years old, a retired and accomplished civil servant, still active. What disqualified him from being among Yoruba elders? Chief Sakariyau Babalola, a business mogul an octogenarian active and vibrant. Is he unworthy of being among the Yoruba elders?!
What of the first African professor of Geology, professor emeritus Muhammed Oyawoye, a London trained university of Ibadan professor. What denies him from being considered among Yoruba elders?! Or offa people are not Yorubas?!
Distinguished legal luminary, Alh Abdullateef Femi Okunnu, is an octogenarian too. Why was he not invited to the Yoruba council of Elders?! Is it because he spots a beard?!
What about Professor DOS Noibi, who is so much recognized internationally as a scholar that the queen of England awarded him the prestigious honour of Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) He was disqualified by this tribal Christian jingoist as Yoruba Elders. We can continue ad infinitium to mention qualified Yoruba Muslims who are qualified to be among the Yoruba Council of Elders.

What disqualifies them is the agenda of the group for Christian prostelytisation hiding under the canopy of Yoruba irredentism. Therefore a Muslim in their midst is like a mole in their eyes. The only time those Christian pundits; masquerading as Yoruba Elders, seemingly supported a Muslims interest was during the June 12 saga. Eventually it was discovered to be fluke hypocrisy of the highest pedestal.

It was the greatest treachery of our political history as they were collecting money from the government when they gave impression that they were great supporter of democracy and June 12 struggle.

Recently, El Mustapha, the erstwhile chief security officer of the late Sanni Abacha exposed their abandoning the struggle after collecting dollars from the late dictator Sanni Abacha.
So they were charlatans. They did not believe in a Muslim presiding over the affairs of the Nation. It was an abberation to see this Yoruba Elders holding meeting with Obasanjo. It is a known fact that they were not on the same page with this crude man with diabolical inclination. They believed he deliberately aborted the political ambition of their godfather Chief Obafemi Awolowo and enthroned Sheu Sagari. Now that Obasanjo is in a political quagmire and was being asked to pay for the misdemeanors he committed when in power, the Afenifere are now trying to parley with him as if they are suffering from collective amnesia. Tokunbo Awolowo, the daughter of the sage, was at the meeting meant to plot against Buhari and save Obasanjo from eternal damnation.

It is strange that Chief Ayo Adebanjo an incurable believer in restructuring of the polity is now on the same page with Obasanjo whose hatred for restructuring has reached a legendary crescendo. We are not oblivious of sensational and unprecedented jailing of Bode George which was instigated by Obasanjo for allegedly pocketing the resources of Nigeria Port Authority NPA while he was chairman. This was the beginning of hot enmity between Obasanjo and Bode George.

The popular aphorism says "a drowning man will hold on to anything, even if it is as dangerous as a serpent". With the desperation of Obasanjo to look for allies to save him from a second incarceration at old age, he found a good alibi to visit Bode George, a belated visit to commiserate with him over the death of his son. One of the greatest enemies of Obasanjo who one could have thought like a plague would have nothing to do with Obasnjo is Pastor Tunde Bakare. He prophesied that God told him that Obasanjo would die before being sworn in as president in 1999. He hates Obasanjo with passion and that must have culminated in Buhari making him his running mate in 2011. The Christian agenda which is in the front burner of overzealous elements in Christiandom made Tunde Bakare to consume his vomit by attending the Save my soul meeting called by Obasanjo at the house of chief Adebanjo.

It is intriguing that the Afenifere generalissimos who were political allies of Bola Ige who was murdered in what look like a political assassination during the despotic regime of Obasanjo are now rallying to support him. This becomes irresponsible and illogical when Buhari has put on high gear the process to unveil those who committed the dastardly act that seemed to have been thrown into the dustbin of history. It is a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend'.

All the cacophony of the Christian propaganda using their pre-eminent domination of the Nigerian press is apparently geared towards a Christian propelled president in 2019.

We, Yoruba Muslims are no fools. We can read in between the lines. We cannot be stampeded to supporting a well orchestrated agenda that refuse all the noble things Buhari has done to move the nation forward in the last three years. He had done much with less. He had been commended for his tremendous achievements locally and globally.

Buhari had been fair to the Yorubas and the Christians. Minister of Finance, Minister of Petroleum, Minister of Transportation, Head of Service, The Chief Judge, CBN Governor, Secretary to the Government of Federation are all Christians. We have no presidential candidate but we believe honestly and passionately that Buharis performance is the best in recent times.

The Yoruba irredentists who trade the race for personal pecuniary interest are blinded by opportunistic sentiment not to appreciate this good work Buhari is doing. It is amazing that some political clowns and demagogues expect Buhari to turn Nigeria into an Eldorado of a sort in four years after sixteen years of unprecedented primitive looting of the treasury and siphoning of our commonwealth to the foreign countries by shameless politicians. The churches are no more making stupendous wealth that produced jet flying billionaire pastors whose followers are wallowing in abject poverty like the proverbial church rat.

Not a few Nigerians are conscious of the ganging up of the robbers to suspend this government and see the back of their traducer president Buhari whose puritanical life and zero tolerance for corruption legendary. We are elated that this Buhari they are criminalizing out of mischief was applauded at the last African union as the most incorruptible president in the continent. It is worthy of note that the president of Mauritania said in an unmistakable terms that if Africa were to have a president it should be Buhari because of his transparency and zero tolerance for corruption.

We are aware that corruption is fighting back and those corrupt, shameless pen robbers should not put a deceptive wool over our face. Obasanjo should go and face the music for years of corruption and tyranny that is the worst in the history of this country. Those who habitate glass houses, should be told that throwing stones could be catastrophic.

We therefore admonished "the acclaimed Yoruba Leaders" to stop criminalizing us for being Muslims. They should not castigate Buhari for being a Fulani. The regime of Obasanjo, a Yoruba Christian President of eight years and that of Jonathan another Christian President for six years cannot by any standard be compared to the Fulani-Muslim rule of three years based on incontrovertible facts and figures.

If Afeniferes problem is that the money they made during Jonathan corrupt regime is no more coming, they should manage what they have made during the period of looting expedition. In shaha Allah it would not be business as usual.

Conclusively, we appeal to the media, the conscience of the nation, not to encourage violence by giving undue publicity to those making hate speeches and drumming war drums. You can know the beginning of the war, nobody can know the end. Those leaders who fuelled the genocide in Rwanda between Hutsi and Tutsi that culminated in the death of 800,000 people are regretting it till today and forever will remain on the negative side of history.. ...

The first wife can't or will not neglect as far as she satisfy her husband sexually, respect her husband, she should try to let her food be OK, she should try not to complain too much etc
If u have one wife, you will never know your wife behavior, character, attitude toward you until you have the second wife but you must fear Allah on her behaviour because if you don't handle it very well, it would lead to some........

Lagos State transportation system is set to witness another revolution as an IT firm, Matatu has concluded plans to launched a Tricycle and Mini Vehicle mobile application across the state.

The App called ‘Matatu’ is designed specifically to enable passengers book tricycle, popularly known as ‘Maruwa’ and mini vehicles from the convenience of their mobile devices.

Speaking about the app, Chief Executive Officer of Matatu, Samuel Ajiboyede said that Matatu is an idea conceived to make life easy for passengers by allowing them to engage the services of maruwa and minibus operators throw the app.

Ajiboyede, who explained that the app will be available on android and ios operating devices noted all passengers need to do is download the app on their mobile devices, registered their details and begins to use.

“What we have done is to simply elevate the maruwa and minibus transportation system with an app that will usher in convenience and safety. All is needed is download the app, registered for the service and you are good to go. Through the app, you can see available maruwa and minibus closest to you and book its’ service. Payment can be made through the app or with cash.

“On the other end, we have thousands of well trained maruwa drivers who have subscribed to the service and are equipped with devices to locate the nearby passenger who requires their services. For safety and convenience, all maruwa owners signed to our system are duly registered and their maruwa must not be more than two years old.

“This will also apply to the mini vehicles which Lagosians are increasingly patronising ,” he said.

Ajiboyede further stated that his firm has held meetings with Lagos State Ministry where discussion about giving special access to Matatu to some restricted areas where Maruwa and Mini vehicles are presently not allowed to operate.

“We have had meetings with the state ministry of transportation on this technology. I can tell you that they are excited about it and have expressed readiness to work with us. ,” he said.

Ajiboyede also added that his firm is working Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the app is launched and operated successfully.

Also speaking on scheme, Matatu’s Executive Director, Business Efficiency, Kemi Ayinde said that the firm has concluded arrangement with a transportation company to inject about 12,000 tricycles into the state transportation system.

According to Ayinde, the 12,000 tricyles will be handed over to we’ll trained drivers registered under the Matatu scheme.

“What we are offering is not just an app, we are also offering an opportunity for people to be empowered. The Matatu scheme also allows people to invest into the maruwa business. All you need to do is to buy some maruwa and we operate it under the Matatu scheme on your behalf. I can tell you that people are already buying into the scheme even when we have not officially launched.” She said.

Mrs Ayinde also hinted that top tricycle manufacturers who have identified with the Matatu investment scheme have agreed to sell their tricycles to subscribers at very low prices.

“Because we want more people to own Maruwa through our investment scheme, we have been in talks with top manufacturers and they have assured us that once we launch, they will sell to our prospective investors at an attractive price

*Dwindling oil prices(oil being our core forex earner).
*Depleted external reserve(FOREIGN RESERVE, EXCESS CRUDE ACCOUNT was depleted from $65b to $30b by GEJ's govt inspite of 4years of oil boom @ average of $100per barrel and 2.2million barrels per day).
The price of oil began to drop in 2014 under GEJ which caused the governmebt then to warn us to prepare for the hardship ahead.
Oil prices dropped as low as $28 per barrel and export down to less than 1.5m barrels per day which reduced Nigeria's income and forex earnings by upto 70%.

In the past 3months,the gradual rise of oil prices,,export quantity and good management of the Reserve has seen it rise from below $25billion in Dec 2016 to $30billion last week.
With rising forex earnings, the government can now afford to ease off some tightened ends which if not tightened could have worsened the pressure on Naira.

Protest is an act that Islaam greatly frowns at.

It Violates the Right of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to be Obeyed: Allah the Mighty and Sublime has sent His Messenger, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and conferred on him, the right that his instructions should be obeyed and followed. He the Exalted said:
“We sent no Messenger, but to be obeyed by Allah‟s Leave.” [An-Nisaa: 64

He, the Mighty and Sublime also said:

“And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain from it. And fear Allah…” [Hashr:7].

Therefore, in very strong terms, Allah the Exalted warned against disobeying the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), violating his right to be obeyed. He says

"And let those who oppose the Messenger‟s commandment beware, lest some trials and afflictions should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.” [An-Noor: 63]

Protests and demonstrations against constituted authority is violation of this right! Abdullah bin Mas‟ood (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“After me, there shall be deprivation (of rights) and things that you will dislike.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allah! What do you order us to do then)?” He answered, “Fulfill the rights over you and ask Allah for that which is for you.”[Collected by Al-Bukhaaree (3603) and Muslim (4803).

Explaining this hadeeth, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyyah (may Allah shower blessings on him) said,“The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has said that the leaders will be unfair and will do detestable things. Yet, he ordered us to give them their rights and ask Allah for our rights. He did not allow us to take the rights through fight, neither did he permit us not to give them their rights.” Minhaaj as-Sunnah (3/372)]

It is established from the Messenger of Allaah (Blessings and Peace be upon him) that he said:

** If anyone of you detest anything from his leader, then let him be patient **

Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “After me, there will be leaders who will not rule according to my guidance and will not follow my path. There will be amongst them, men whose hearts are those of the devils in the body of humans.”

Hudhayfah asked, “What should I do – O Messenger of Allah – if I am alive then?” He answered, “Listen to and obey the leader. Even if your back is beaten and your wealth is taken; listen and obey.”[Collected by Muslim (4813). These narrations – if given due contemplation - also clearly refute the thinking by some that the ruler regarding whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered patience and supplication when he rules badly is the fair and good leader.]

Why una dey wan open cylinder up and down for in the first place?

The timing chain was noisy and we changed it, later it noisy again the mechanic said the oil pump is faulty and we changed it but the oil pump was not working, we need to change the oil pump for the second time and I told him to open it and do it quickly and he said the engine must cool before he can open it. That's what cause my question.

Please I need clarification on this two questions below

1. My mechanic said too much of open the cylinder or bottom of the engine will cause the engine to smoke

2. And to open the cylinder or bottom of the engine when its hot will cause the engine to smoke too

Pls house I need clarification on how true are those assumptions. Thanks

Let us look at what Allah Almighty said in the Noble Quran:
"Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they pass like the passing of the clouds: (such is) the artistry of God, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do. (The Noble Quran, 27:88) "

The following translations further prove this:

Translation of Pickthall:

And thou seest the hills thou deemest solid flying with the flight of clouds: the doing of Allah Who perfecteth all things. Lo! He is Informed of what ye do.

Translation of Khalifa:

When you look at the mountains, you think that they are standing still. But they are moving, like the clouds. Such is the manufacture of GOD, who perfected everything. He is fully Cognizant of everything you do.

Allah Almighty did say that all of the objects in the Universes are swimming in space:
Allah Almighty said that all of the objects of the Universe are swimming; each in its orbit:

"It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its orbit with its own motion.
(The Noble Quran, 21:33) "

Allah Almighty telling us that the mountains are moving? By the way, the "mountains" here is not just limited to mountains, but rather it includes the whole ground we're standing on, since, to us humans, the earth doesn't move, except during the times of earth quakes. And the mountains are obviously connected with the ground.

By the way, clouds never really move away. They only rotate around the earth and travel above the earth; above land to land. So if the mountains (the whole ground of earth since the mountains are part of earth) are "moving, like the clouds" , then this means that the earth is also moving in circle around its axle.

So, why didn't Allah Almighty just say so? Allah Almighty 1500 years ago did not want to make irrational and CRAZY statements that would've been refused and considered as absurd and utter nonsense to the people who lacked a great deal of knowledge about astronomy and geology. The Miracle of the Noble Quran is that while Allah Almighty made the statement in Noble Verse 27:88 acceptable to the people back then, He also included the scientific claim in it for us today, and told us that the earth does indeed move around its axle.
