Can someone politely send me a link to fill for UK visas.i want to renew my visa and apply for ten years.
I am outside Nigeria.
I applied here three years ago similarly but it wasn't the gov.uk form .
I had to get a new form at the VFS centre.
Thanks

You can search for jobs on the internet.
You just may be lucky .
The agents deal with medical personel only.

Do you have any experienceI mean hands on.
Which country did u train ?

U can only pay with dormicilliary cards as all naira mastercards have 100usd cutoff or alternatively book on wakanow or call the british airways lagos abuja office, they will tell you the naira equivalent to pay and where to pay it.
What do you mean as new entrant?

You can only use the nigerian licence for one calendar year. After that it becomes invalid
Education / Re: Why I Dropped Out Of Medical School At 500L, Ended Up As Cart Pusher –benue Man by ayobj: 9:24am On Mar 07, 2021
Very sad story.

I can position myself in his shoes.Medical school is very difficult,IN UI,it was super difficult with unhelpful lecturers and no mentors or encouraging words.
I was in the medical school around this time period but he was so much my junior. However, the face looks very familiar.
Its sad everything went sideways.
lessons from this and what i tell people from personal experience.

1.Dont force anyone to read any course no matter how altruistic the reasons are.
2.If u start feeling the heat early on and in three years, throw in the towel. This may be hard in a poor country.
3.Our schools need to start thinking out of the box.How about giving this guy one year away from the deep competitive and difficult terrain to get himself and come back to school.
4.For people that cant absolutely cope,a way should be arranged for some soft landing.Learnt there is an increasing number now.
5.Feeling sexual urges is normal and not a weakness.
6.Then our dependence on certificates will require a new re orientation and paradigm shift

Why don’t I take a train to Victoria bus station and take a bus to Cambridge
The cost of a cab will be too much and prohibitive.

Except you are a billionaire
You don’t need a cab to Cambridge.

It’s 65.3 miles and 1hour 20 minutes drive
Abeg conserve funds

Yes for women there is no place for detailed work history and income.

But why did you say no to income question. You should have gone into details how big your business is?
Also tell him that you do other business by the side which gives a leser income.
Also add your educational qualification and job experience.
Its a convincing 3 minutes.

you may reapply within six months.
If you dont have leave to remain in the UK.You cannot apply for a visa there.

vo: where are you going to?
me: university name, town, state
vo; what are you going for?
me: i was invited to present a paper at 'university name' at 'conference name'
vo: whats that?
me; i explained the conference in more detail
vo; how long are you going for?
me: 6 days
vo: have you left nigeria before?
me: yes, been to a few countries in europe. spain, netherlands, italy. ive been across africa, morocco, mauritius, etc. I love to travel
vo: what do you do?
me; i work as a consultant on XYZ project
vo: how much do you earn
me; 850k a month
vo: are you married?

vo: any kids?
me: no
vo: tell me about your paper
me: i ramble for about 30 seconds. (he is nodding his head as if its enough abeg)
vo: i'm going to approve your visa.... (hands over pink slip)

1. i wasn't asked for any documents. in my application as I was going for a conference, i selected only B1 ( i got that tip from here)

3. i didnt hesitate with my answers (the benefit of rehearsing) . too many people were saying 'ehn?', meanwhile me far away could hear the questions
3. don't ramble. be confident. don't lie on your application. i've been refused over 10yrs ago and even though i didnt do biometrics, I mentioned it. (nairaland tip) LIES WILL MAKE YOU NERVOUS.
4. don't engage in chatchat with people. all that 'naija is bad/they arent giving visa's etc etc. it ruins your energy. be silent and focus on why you are there (my personal advice)
5. they were approving and refusing people. the vo i met refused a lady for student visa because the course date was in the past. he advised her to get a new i20 from the uni. he refused a mama who couldn't explain what she did there her last visit for 2mths. they aren't demons. they have their reasons for either refusals or approvals.

My visa expired in May 2019 and my wife's was February 2019.
We were living outside the country and applied for a Canadian visa in Dec 2018.We got the visa in January 2019 but was for only 5 months. It was processed under CAN+.They tied it to the US visa validity.
Since I didn’t have plans for the US at that time, the Canadian visa wasn’t used.
My visa expired in May 2019.I had a conference to attend in November.
I paid the visa fees for me and madam in July and filled ds 160.
I had a dilemma,my passport is expiring in March.I tried severally to renew my passport in lagos but the NIN was so difficult to get.I woke up at 4am several times but will meet a full list at Eti Osa local government.
I even drove to Abeokuta to get a new passport until I got info that the 6 month validity didn’t apply to visa interviews hence applied with the old one.I have not picked my new passport due to this interview.
I got a date for November few days to the conference. However at the embassy ,we were turned back due to a discrepancy on the Ds 160 codes.Apparently the system generated the prior visit codes of 2017.I begged and begged no help.I was disappointed and shattered.
I wrote several mails for an expedited visa interview date but didn’t get any respite.
So I went to usdocs and got another date January 2020.It was far and my conference was expired.

So today the day came.We misplaced our receipts and had to use those urchins to get a new one printed at 3k per copy.It was so stressful as we had to wake up early and rush to the embassy.
After linning up outside,we did security checks and sat down for another one hour to queuing up again,we did the finger prints and finally was on line to be interviewed.

There were many fast denials especially for virgin passports, single applicants and prior overstayers. Some could not speak English and the VO tried to speak pidgin but it didn’t still fly, they were not given. Many with travel history and good jobs and good articulation and presentation skills got their visas.

Another group that had issues were previous birthers who got discounts or escaped payments. Some husbands were asked for receipts of births of their children even after applying alone. Most were refused.

So it was our turn.VO a young man in his 30s.
VO:Let me have your passports if you want to travel to the USA.
Me:We passed it along.
VO:why are you travelling to the usa
Me:We are going on vacation in June at Texas and New York.We will cousins in Texas. We have never been down south before and we use to visit often in Queens.Later in the year, we will attend a conference in Chicago during the winter.
VO:will u be attending the conference with your wife.
Me:yes.
VO:how many weeks for the June trip
ME:2 weeks
VO: (to wifey),what do u do for work.
Madam:business.i am into rentals.
VO: Is it property rentals or events.
Wife:event and catering rentals.
VO:you are a doctor?Where do u work?
Me;Told him >>>>>Healthcare Limited
VO:how much do you earn?
Me:Told him.Not to fat and not small(don’t want wahala so allow me,but above the national average)
VO:DO you have any children.
Madam: Yes we do .We have 3.
VO:Were they all born in Nigeria
Madam:yes
VO:You answered too slowly.
ME:All Nigeria born at Ibadan.
VO:which other countries have u visited
Me:UK,South Africa,Egypt,Turkey,India,Saudi Arabia,Brazil,Germany and France
VO:What is the longest stay in the USA?
Wife:One month in 2015
I interjected,I was a visiting scholar at the University Of Michigan at Ann Arbor at the time period
VO:I will issue you the visa.Do you have the reciprocity fees for the two of you.
Us;Yes we do.
We went to the cashier line where they made rules that only one person can pay on behalf of family. smiley

Observation:on arrival there were like 10 people on the line for the reciprocity payment.
As at the time I was paying,we were only two.
The process is getting very hard. angry sad
Its becoming very difficult and almost impossible for young unmarried folks with virgin passports.Anyone should still try but i will prefer if you assess yourself you can stand back and get more ties.
God will heal our land.AMEN.

Hello all

I need your help
Am a regular traveller too but it seems it’s my turn to need help now
I am due for an interview in November
Me and my wife are due booked.
The November was the earliest date I could get even though I paid the visa fees in July.
However my passport will expire in March and I am due to travel to Chicago in December.
Will it not be an automatic denial giving the 6 month validity rule.
Do i need to get a new passport in which I will do the interview all over again.
I will need to pay another visa fee and wait for another 6months l

This will be my fifth US visa.i have travelled regularly to the us in the past 8 years.
I have also travelled to all continents(Saudi,India,GERMANY,Turkey,Brazil,Egypt,South Africa,Great Britain etc)and lived abroad before.
Kindly advice based on experience and anecdotes

I just want to make an observation.
The burden and need to prove reliability is so stressful in nigeria as per visas and immigration requirements.

I just applied for a 2 year visit visa to the UK where I currently live and was given after 6 working days .
I have been to the UK several times but the last time I applied was 2012.Last travel January 2014.
Had a 24 hour transit in 2017 coming from the states.

I didn’t submit my prior passport
I didn’t submit any landed property-where I live a foreigner cannot buy a land or house anyway.
I didn’t submit marriage certificate or family pictures.
My appointment letter wasn’t written in English and there was no payslips.
I only had a salary certificate.
I needed to do all this when I apply in Nigeria.

Can something be done to ameliorate the suffering and stress.
It’s backbreaking.

I put expected spending to be 2500 GBP and didn’t explain any details.

I submitted a statement of account printed on the day of salary payment .
As at the time the visa was issued I had spent all the money .

Something should be done.
Let our minister or foreign affairs and the high Commisioner to the UK make complaints.

Bros can you advice your friend or relative to stop wasting money.
Applying every 2 months reeks of desperation and likely violation of non immigrant visa rules.
Hence you will likely be refused again.

Relax first give it a space of 6 months to one year.
Then you try again.

There is no pressure on the U.K. Embassy in Australia unlike Nigeria.
