It was at least 6 months before I saw another penny grin
Politics / Re: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by BABAnLA(m): 6:46pm On Jul 28, 2006
obong:

the title of this post calls my williams 'engineer williams' a sthough engineer, like doctor and president are titles. engineer isnt a title. even alhaji is another fake nigerian title

Actually, first, I'm going to have to burst your empty bubble here, but Engineer, Doctor, etc are indeed titles. They are job titles, but titles nonetheless. Generally, we (naijas) tend to use them in salutations, for recognition etc, so what?!
Secondly, what the f*uck has that got to do with the issue at hand, namely, a well known politician who's life has just been taken?

Get a clue my friend, darn peeps always tryiing to prove that they know something when they are so freaking clueless. Pieces me off!

PS - now u know my pet peeve, at least one of them. angry
Family / Re: Can You Marry A More Successful Woman? by BABAnLA(m): 5:49pm On Jul 26, 2006
A marriage 'partnership' should not be competitive but complementary, you should strive to align yourselves for optimal success, as a unit not for individual egotistical motives.
All this "I will stive to do better than her, " is nonsense.
If two companies merge to become one would it make any good business sense for the companies to keep competiting for business?
Na wetin dey kill as be that, we are always trying to 'out=show' one another.
Abeg, if my future Mrs dey better skilled than me, and they wan make am CEO of Microsoft or whatever then hey, I'm happy with that!
The most important thing is that whatever decisions WE make makes the most sense for our family unit (for example: me, taking on more of the business of the home ie picking kids from school, or me relocating with her, or even quitting my own job, etc)
Supporting one another is key, not competing to see who can do more,
Family / Re: Is There Any Man Who Hasn't Ever Cheated On His Wife? by BABAnLA(m): 2:31pm On Mar 31, 2006
I have never and I don't plan to ever so help me God. I believe most of such is as a result of greed, wanting everything and never getting satisfied with oneself.

I have chosen to be with my wife after several years of dating and I have committed to her (out of a pool of many) and I am also committed to our children. I can truely say that I am satisfied with my life as a member of our family and I don't ever want to jeopardize nor adulterate that feeling. grin
Sports / Re: Baseball In Nigeria by BABAnLA(m): 4:52pm On Mar 17, 2006
I am an avid baseball fan and also play the less complicated softball which is just as fun but doesnt require as much time as baseball. Maybe they could start with softball leagues.
Business / Re: Nigeria Million Dollar Home Page by BABAnLA(m): 4:48pm On Mar 17, 2006
He's way ovepriced especially for the initially launching of his project. Homeboy should start smaller and build up as the supply gets smaller. A+ for effort sha.
