Religion / Re: What Did You Learn At Church Today? by babe1(f): 4:59am On Aug 14, 2006
Oh today which is 7/13/2006, my Priest talked about how much food we have in America and how much we waste it. He said, We should consider people that are less fortunate in other countries and stop being wastefull.
Fashion / Re: What Wearing Too Much Makeup Can Do To Your Skin by babe1(f): 4:56am On Aug 14, 2006
Make up ain't bad, but i don't know about getting hives from it. I know if i sleep with makeup, i can have one or two bumps the next day but definitely not hives and when my sister sleeps with makeup, she is OK. So, i think it all depends on your skin type. I know mine is exceptionally sensitive. I can't remember the last time i slept with make up on though. I always take a bath morning and night, which means no chance of going to bed with make up.

@ Coco29 and Babe1:Do you have a husband? Is he in Iraq? Iraq isn't American. Whatever, am thick-skinned and you can't boss me around or get me angry. I mean well to everyone. Don't cry when folks get bombed on their Humvees. It's like you like love-making so much. Is that your life? HAHAHA

Iraq isn't American? Dummy! Proper English please. Ewu! You don't even make any sense. Your sentences are everywhere. Meeen! Like i said, YOU ARE AMERICAN WANNA BE!

@ Babe1: This is a real topic I Battle and take insults to convince people on. You are not going to be the last huh. This is what we get when we use our ***** and pussies to think. The world is full of people, curruption and machines taking up human jobs. Don't start calling God now you can think. More than two kids for a couple is too much and that could be frustrating. I know you're no different. Later the confession but know that someone like me talked to you about small family size no matter how deep you soak yourself in churches and how fat your bank account or how secure you think your workplace guarantees. AM out.

Hey you, back off already. I don't think i know who you are and neither am i married to you. So why don't you buzz off and get a life. I don't think you are in the position to tell me how many children i can have. Like i said, last time i checked i was not your wife. Whatever you are shehe or heshe POOF BE GONE! American want to be. darn!

@ Babe1: Are making children your hobby? Maybe children are you life. Carry on but don't cry blue murder. No good children thesedays and their father can't even jaywalk far away.

Umm, that didn't make much sense to me but i am happily married and wish to have three children, if you have a problem with that, too bad. I know God will bless us with intelligent healthy babies. Take your negative energy and frustration elsewhere. So eat that!

Todd Terry:

thanks iice. where do u live? have u hiked in jos? maybe we can meet? we are planning on doing some hiking there for 4-5 days. i understand it is quite nice. i heard the road from ab to jos is actually quite nice nand very few miscreants or sss. have you heard of the ougadogo lodge? they offered me a cabin with kitchenette, laundry service, room service, and game buffet for 2450 naira per night, double occupancy. sounds pretty good. a miss ogunwole runs the lodge. she sounds very nice as I have spoken with her on 2 occasions. she also offered nature treks for only 800 naira including lunch.

Wow, 2450? When the grand hotel at Asaba goes for 15,000 naira and up a night.Omg. This does not even include food or any of that stuff, just clean sheets and water. But it is grand though i must say and it is over looking the river niger.

Txlonghorn:

Wow babe, you married a Yoruba man. Not that it's bad or anything like that, I just think you very brave, my family would freak out. I'm sure you had a nice wedding, congratulations nne.

My parents are going to pay the bride price this weekend I'll let you know how much the paid, just like your people in Asaba we in Anambra don't demand a lot for pride prize.

Well TX, welcome to my family tales. My oldest sister is married to a guy from warri, second sister married to a guy from sapela and am married to a yoruba. The bottom line is this, our parents are more interested in our happiness than tribal issues. You can marry anyone you chose to as long as he or she makes you happy. I don't think families should make that decision. And yes TX, we had a grand wedding and have a wonderful 9month old daughter now. Hoping to have more someday. Goodluck once again.
Culture / Re: Igbo And Yoruba Marriages? by babe1(f): 4:32am On Aug 08, 2006
I am Ibo married to a Yoruba man. The issue we had at first was religion, he is a Muslim and i am catholic but hey i told my family its him or no one else and we got married. So its really up to you and your girl. Let her have a talk with her dad and tell him how she feels about you. If all fails, just pray about it and let God do the rest. What will be will be, no matter what trials and tribulations you encounter. Take it one day at a time.
Romance / Re: Do Long Distance Relationships Work? by babe1(f): 4:17am On Aug 08, 2006
Umm, i don't see how you can be dating someone invisibly for 5yrs, that to me is not a relationship. Long distance relationship works when you see each other few times a year at least but in your case, you either see each other soon or end it please.
Romance / Re: Is Dating Someone For 1 Year Too Soon To Get Married? by babe1(f): 4:07am On Aug 08, 2006
Hmm, well as for me, my hubby proposed to me after 10months we met and we got married 7months after that. So i guess one yr and up is good but regardless, you should follow your heart. After all there are people that are introduced and they do it right away and i know a few that have been married for a long time. So its really yup to the person and how they feel.
