Family / Re: Pls Help My Husband Is Compaining About My Weight by babe1(f): 6:52am On Jan 27, 2009
If infact you are pregnant, it is a crime to think of losing weight and you should be arrested. What happened to eating right and healthy. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. Less carbs, anything more than 30 carbs is a no no. Drink lots of water. It all depends on where you are too, if in Africa, less pounded yam and red oil. But please lose weight after the baby comes. Good luck!

Oh one more thing, when you find the ONE, I mean when love hits you hard in the head and all over your body, you will not be told what to do. You will just know it. Some people do things out of pride and what friends and family will do or say but do it for you. Love conquers it all and God will guide you in the right path, He will never gibe you a cross too heavy for you to carry. Amen!
Romance / Re: Would You End A Beautiful Relationship Over Religious Differences? by babe1(f): 6:54am On Mar 31, 2008
I am catholic married to a muslim and we love each other to death. We have been married going on five years and i wouldn't do it any differently. Life is too short as long as you both believe in God, why mess it up. Leave it all to him.
Romance / Re: What Trips You The Most About Your Hubby? by babe1(f): 6:35am On Mar 31, 2008
Oh boy, Oh boy. Where do i begin. First, his intelligence, he is handsome 6feet 4inches tall. Oh MY! His beautiful smile. I sometimes wanna eat him when he sleeps because he looks so so yummy. Now the main dish, The way he gives it to me. I can't go into details but i know i married the right guy for me. Most importantly, i saved the best for last. He LOVES me unconditionally. HALLELUJAH! Amen to that.
Sports / Re: Why Are Men So Passionately Crazy About Sports? by babe1(f): 5:57am On Mar 13, 2008
Oh and ladies if it bothers you that you don't get attention when guys watch their games, then thats when you move to the other room with a TV. I am married and i love sports but when a game is on and i am not in the mood for it, i move or my hubby moves. You don't have to watch anyone yelling or whaever they do to ignore you.
Sports / Re: Why Are Men So Passionately Crazy About Sports? by babe1(f): 5:53am On Mar 13, 2008
If you love sports you should not be asking this question. I love sports and not all men love sports. Maybe whatever passion you have for sports, is the same passion some men have too. So could it be you have the answer to your question?
Food / Re: Do You Eat Your Vegetables? by babe1(f): 5:48am On Mar 13, 2008
Is watermelon not a fruit?
Food / Re: Do You Eat Your Vegetables? by babe1(f): 5:44am On Mar 13, 2008
I love my veggies, my favourite of cause is SPINACH steamed and i do have a bowl of salad everyday and when i say salad i don't mean typical Nigerian salad with eggs and all that creamy stuff. My salad has carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, and a little cheese with light dressing, yum yum! And finally i love to snack on raw broccoli and cauliflower.

Sports / Re: Nigeria Is Ready For American Football by babe1(f): 3:51am On Jun 26, 2007
Na only football, na legball. I love American football but it ain't gonna work anywhere else. Though never say never but most Nigerians i know back home don't care for it, they are all about soccer.

Religion / Re: What Did You Learn At Church Today? by babe1(f): 5:18am On Mar 08, 2007
It is wednesday but last sunday, we were told to learn not to question God when we have problems. Meaning sickness, death in family or lost job, we should see it as something that will come and go. Amen! We can all learn to suffer like Jesus did and that will bring us closer to God.
Romance / Re: Is Dating Someone For 1 Year Too Soon To Get Married? by babe1(f): 4:26am On Feb 12, 2007
whitelexi:

Didnt quite expect a standing ovation from the female folk but many guys have already concurred to this. Women of nowadays cannot be trusted easily because of all that they do when they do what they do especially abroad, Smart men go all the way back home from countries abroad just to get married because what they see our girls doing here is unbelievable. when girls finish playing and realise the need to settle down, they start looking for the unfortunate dude for child benefits and stuff.
Its all changing, because the birds have learnt to fly higher and the hunters have learnt to aim better grin

That is why those girls they end up marring from back home come here and leave them. Serves them right i must say. A lotttttttĀ  of cases like that expecially in the USA. The hunters sure ain't aiming good enough.
Romance / Re: Nigerian Girls Are Not Romantic: Why? by babe1(f): 9:49pm On Dec 13, 2006
Not a wise choice of words " why are Nigerian girls". You can't generalize like that, you should say some because i know for sure that you have not dated every Nigerian girl nor have you dated me. But it is too late for that because i am married. Or do you mean, girls in Nigeria? but either way it is still not all.
Romance / Re: Would You Marry a Single Parent? by babe1(f): 9:44pm On Dec 13, 2006
If the person tells you the first time you meet, i don't see why not. But if it is kept a secret and they tell you later, then there might be a slight problem. But that is just my thought, it is still all up to the individual. I also think it is easy for men with kids to remarry than women, especially in cases where the kids are with their mother.

Not necessarily true.

If you have a bad case no lawyer can help you and it will amount to throwing
good money after bad.

If you have a good case then all you have to do is marshal your facts and put them
forward in a coherent and logical fashion, you don't have to be a lawyer to do that.

Furthermore, I know for a fact that most of the presenters acting for the UK government
at the appeal tribunals have no legal training as such. shocked shocked shocked

Ronke

As someone said, be careful in employing anyone to act on your behalf.
A lot of these so called immigration experts/lawyers are nothing but conmen.

You still need a lawyer's advice regardless. Thats their job. I am not talking about good or bad case, i think you still need to talk to a lawyer period.
