Dear VO Thank You for all your help, I have an issue and don't know how to go forward. DOS told me to call USCIS for humanitarian parole on our case (to which I was told NO, on an approved I-130) they told me to approach the embassy. Long story and will not bore you, but just found out in May I fractured my spine at work and will be undergoing some surgeries. I am alone here and need my husband here for me, what can be done (his interview was 24 April 2013)? The embassy has not ask for anything, just AP. |

Visa Officer, We are in our fifth month of the black hole of AP in Cairo. The embassy says we are in Washington, and Washington says no we are at the embassy. We are just flat out confused as where we are. Our problem is my husband has been offered a job in another country and I am terrified if he takes this position, when his CR-1 Visa is finally issued, if he is not physically in Egypt, will it trigger a new different AP? (In 3 months his CR-1 will convert to an IR-1) Thank You |

Hello Visa Officer, Does sending an E-mail to the embassy for a case status bi-weekly affect the process of "Mandatory Administrative Processing?" Actually I don't mean the process, but I mean would it affect our time spent in the process? Thank You |
