Politics / Re: Nuhu Ribadu: A Villain Or Hero? by banwo1(m): 9:40pm On Jan 17, 2008
haba!no man on earth is perfect, we all are working towards perfection. Therefore, as regards Nuhu Ribadu, i think he's tried his bit as head of EFCC. Nonetheless, if d presidency thinks he's Obasanjo's boy then dey should find someone else to do d job and creep into obj's past and see if truly he doesn't have cockroaches or skeletons in his closet.
Politics / Re: How Do One Join Politics Locally, Nationally And Abroad by banwo1(m): 1:17am On Jan 14, 2008
to become a politician is not a days job.really, u've got to ask urself do i want to be a
1.observer
2.supporter
3.participant
by God's grace i can boldly call myself a politician cos right from undergraduate days i once contested for president but lost , also a one time Honourable for my class(Student Representative Council) morelike the legislative arm of government. Moreso, i hail from a politically oriented family(father-one time supervisor for works and housing and chairman aspirant in Ikorodu local government area of lagos, nigeria , Uncle-House of Representative aspirant, but lost to Hon Abike Dabiri in d last election). Therefore, to advice u friend, join a political party and start attending constituency mtgs, pay ur dues and before u know it u'll be announced someday,
Politics / Danfo Drivers;a Menace To Our Society by banwo1(m): 1:02am On Jan 14, 2008
I am really wondering what d state governor is doing about d persistent and pathetic traffic jam found accross the state caused mainly by danfo drivers(perhaps, fashola has a handful of them as friends and supporters like his predecesor, bola tinunbu)!its high time motorist and users alike start to apply d saying 'live and let live' cos danfo drivers stopping in wrong places to pick passengers and indisciplined passengers waiting in the wrong places(express roads) to board a bus are the major causes of many 'go slows' found on our roads. I will suggest dat since some humans prefer to behave like stubborn goats, LASTMA officials should start beating offenders with 'koboko' i.e Horsewhip, not pardoning aggressive traders who leave the comfort of their stalls only to turn part of the road +medians into busy markets. let's all fight dis menace in our society called 'DANFO DRIVERS'

Friend, this particularly interests me cos i finished in skool wit a 3rd class and right now apart from my NYSC which i'm awaiting in february, i will love to enrol in a short service with NDA so as to 1. serve my fatherland, 2. spice up my CV, 3. pave way for my future political ambition as records shows dat most US presidents were one time in the army. so,i will advice u dat if d money(salary) is d paramount thing for u, sorry u 'll be dissappointed.
