MY XIAOMI SCARE

This morning as I was going to work. I picked up my phone and started my journey and I started pressing the unlock button but the phone won't turn on. I was scared because it was too early to start having screen issues. So I restarted my phone by holding the unlock button and I saw the MI logo. So I knew the screen wasn't faulty but I couldn't see anything on the phone stiil. So I waited and calmed my mind down until I entered the bus and discovered that the auto brightness was switched off and my screen was basically too dim. It is too early to buy new screen

Come on now. The op just asked a question not everybody knows technology as everyone. People should chill and just give reasons why she should buy a certain device without the need to insult her

Good evening everyone. Sorry, this is coming late. I received my redmi note 5 pro from protein0 last two weeks and i want to share my thoughts.
Previously, i have been using my gionee s6s as my daily driver and the camera had degraded and it was on its last legs but the performance was still good until the screen went black. I was planning on holding out for the redmi note 7 but due to work related issues i had to get a device quickly so i settled for the redmi note 5 pro and oh my God it has been a revelation. The first thing i noticed when i pulled the device out of the box is the build quality, it feels sturdy and built like a tank and the display quality is top-notch, performance is silky smooth and i have not experienced any serious lag with the device compared to my previous phone. There is a bug that when i pin my apps to my screen i can't exit unless i reboot the phone which is kind of annoying but it will be fixed in a future update. Funny note: when i tried to put my earpiece into the phone i discovered that you have to press it until you hear a click, which had me scared initially because i thought the earpiece port was faulty until i discovered it was a feature which my previous phone didn't have. The phone has really showed me that you don't really need to spend a lot of money to get a lot of value from smartphones today. I am not a constant camera user but it is an okay performer for me, the ads are annoying but i can live with it. Overall, it is a great device and i don't regret my purchase. It is a way massive step up from my previous phone.
God bless Lei Jun
God bless Protein
God bless the members of this xiaomi thread
Amen

Give him a break guys, even without the video it is obvious that it was not done intentionally! Why are we so judgmental, we all make mistakes daily! People already wishing doom for them just because he made an unconscious mistake, just shows how people are bitter, jealous and want your downfall when they don’t have what you have.

This should be a Lesson to people, do your things in secret! Never allow people know of your success!

In my opinion, what she did was very wrong because the statue she was twerking on is a public monument dedicated to one of the most respected VC's in Unilag History but unilag should have been more lenient with her situation

Celebrities / Re: Lady Blasts Olori Wuraola And Freeze Over Gender Equality In Open Letter by Baylow25(m): 5:23pm On Jun 19, 2016

Stupid woman, gender this gender that, please who amongst you attended a mixed school and never saw girls In the class. This is a world where its easier for a woman to make it than a man, lots of prejudice on men folk. All these fools are interested in is simply to emasculate the men folk. They have succeded in doing that in the west and they wanna bring such crap here.

Its only someone who lies to himself that would tell me women are at a disadvantage. Many real women who know what doors their feminity has opened for them will never want to be a man. Bloody hyprocrites all wanna eat them cakes and have it.

Street hawkers that abound, are they predominantly females ? No males ? Are there no women in politics? Is there a rule that stops women from contesting like men? Or they expect to be made presidents and governors just beacuse they are women? There kind of women are the ones putting silly ideas into the minds of our well brought up african ladies. Who know that man has his role and woman has hers, nobody's role is inferior or superior to the other but are rather complimentary
Celebrities / Re: ‘Being A Feminist Is Denying Many Women Of Having A Husband' - OAP Freeze by Baylow25(m): 2:12pm On Jun 18, 2016
i don't believe in feminism but i believe in equality in terms of women not being oppressed and being raped by men who feel they are superior. Men are superior to women but doesn't mean that if you have all that power you should oppress someone who is weaker than you. I know that this feminism isn't about gender equality but about women grievances about men they just want to be loved and cared for and they will submit happily to us. It's just common sense but if a man does all these things and the women is not appreciative of your efforts then she has serious problems but the thing about feminism is that they have forgotten the initial reasons why women actually were fighting it in the first place and they are using the term to brainwash young women of nowadays to behave in a way that they now fear us and we are termed as beasts to be tamed and that any small opportunity we will rape, kill, cheat e.t.c but when they do it it is totally cool

Politics / Re: Nigerians React To Bridget Patience Agbaheme's Murder In Kano Over "Blasphemy" by Baylow25(m): 11:19am On Jun 04, 2016
Religion should never be used as a basis for the killing of innocent people who 'blasphemed' or for any other reason. Islam is very conflicted even within their ranks some support the violent nature while the others support the peaceful nature so it is very confusing and their holy book is conflicted between peaceful and violent undertones
