[quote author=leo083 post=79122413]Good morning my nairaland family, I want to share my testimony to encourage others in similar conditions Wife Visa application: Nov 26 , 2017 to resume in NSW January 29 2018 First contact by case officer: January 25 2018, asked for Proof of relationship with sponsor, then UK refusal eveidence Wife VISA granted about 7 days after school resumption; 6th February 2018 I applied with my kids as a subsequent entrant on a dependent Visa: August 6th 2018 VISA REFUSAL: October 22, 2018 DEVASTATED, ANGRY, CRIED SAD,DEPRESSED Re applied November 22, 2018 Then the very LONG WAIT NO CONTACT FROM THE CASE OFFICER Sent them mail twice, January and March: the sent an automated response and then later that it’s still under consideration WAITED AND WAITED Then suddenly without contact from case officer, on a FRIDAY GOD DID IT Visa granted : 7th June 2019 KEYS: GOD FACTOR : prayers, fasting perseverance: through all the issues, long list. [quote author=leo083 post=78064798]Good morning my nland friends. Background; my wife was granted visa for MSc February 9th 2018, we (my self and 2 kids) applied as subsequent entrant(dependent Visa) August 26 2018, we were refused about 2 months later, we reapplied Nov 22, 2019. It’s over 5 months and the imni page still The honest truth is that the reason why you were denied isn't because of the agent but that's the present situation of getting dependent visa. So many people that came into Australia since 2 years are on that shoe. Getting dependent visa now is not even up to 1% guaranteed. But all I can say to you is be prayerful and believe. Now my advice to future applicants, make sure you apply for your student visa together with your family or else, you might dance to the same tune as people already here. 1 Like |

Ayolachris: Honestly, right now it seems late cos April is already around the corner. Just hope for the best in future, or better still confirm from your wife's agent to know if including you now is still possible. All the best |

Ayolachris: You are about to loose this golden opportunity. This is the best time you can get this visa. A friend of mine extended her visa to two years visa and included her husband and one child and they were giving just last month. Getting a subsequent dependent visa now is less than 50 per cent, I mean it's very difficult. I don't know if it is late yet, but if it's possible just include yours now . |

Who has currently been facing stress of the stiff implementation of 20hours a week for those here in Australia as a result of the resolution made on 1st July 2018 of students working and earning way pass normal according to tax return feedbacks. Lets have a discussion and share your opinions. Anyways, it could be initial gra gra because agencies are wracking funds from students working this way. Share your views Hi Fobak, may I please know about this new rule cos I got no idea about it. Cheers |

Ayolachris: Yes bro, you apply under same subsequent entrant(visa 500) but with the reason that you are coming to visit your wife. The main thing is when the visa is granted it will be given the same duration with your wife's duration. I have a friend who got just one month insurance for her husband to come visiting and the husband was given same duration of visa with the wife. All you need is the visa. Meanwhile which city is your wife based? |
Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by bblessed: 9:36am On Feb 10, 2018 |
Ayolachris: Yes bro, if you ask me cos waiting until next year is not a good idea as your agent suggested. As some people suggested get a letter from your place of work that you are only going for just a month or so to visit your wife. If you have any other surpporting documents like landed property, you can also include them. You can ask your wife to get a better migration agent over here whom will also help out on knowing how to package it this time. Please reaply and don't wait till next year |
