I think we should always be diligent enough to read properly and in context before responding.
Firstly, the reaction required from above post was : IF I WAS MR PRESIDENT TODAY... Give an idea of what 'YOU' would do. (Not to critic another person's idea of what they would do)

You can see how easy it is to criticize others unconsciously without ourselves having or giving NO CONTRIBUTION in a discuss.

Secondly, the post was specifically to Nigeria's own current situation TODAY and not whatever they were doing or saying in Kenya.

The post is very specific and responses or reaction should also be specific. Eg.....If I were Nigeria's president today I would reverse my fuel subsidy decision and apologize for the hardship caused.

REACTION REQUIRED: IF I WAS MR PRESIDENT TODAY!

In the face of the dire situation (economic hardship & perceived civil unrest) As a Leader to be termed RESPONSIBLE!

I would Immediately make it my primary function to speak to my citizens every day at a scheduled time through all outlets and Live broadcasts.
I was reading a piece yesterday showing the ongoing plans around the Calabar highway and the other extended benefits e.g electricity generation possibilities and irrigation potentials etc

Upon seeing this...some form of hope arose within me and I felt like at least this is a bit 'visionary'.

Leaders need to have a sense of accountability and engagement directly with the citizenry. African Leaders need to Learn from their western counterparts how to "Get down from that high horse" and speak like normal human beings who know that these positions are Critical temporary positions of privileges that must be administered with utmost sanctity, transparency and accountability to Man and to God.

PRAY FOR NIGERIA TODAY: POINTS TO NOTE
Anarchy Looms: When violent protests is allowed to spread and persist. Nigeria's law enforcement becomes overwhelmed and there is total collapse of Law & Order.
Destruction, Looting, Great Fear, Paralyzed movements and Inability to buy and sell goods or services becomes the order of the day.
2) Election Process Compromised
Under the present atmosphere, if allowed to continue. It becomes difficult ,If not Impossible to be able to conduct an election successfully.
3) Destroying Banks is Destroying Solutions
The banks at the end of the day, are the channels where money will be released back into the system. Therefore, destroying the infrastructure of banks & ATMs is nothing but self sabotage and capable of prolonging the present cash crunch. No sensible youth should support or allow such.
4) Food is served for Dare Devil Convicts & Opportunist
Remember that in recent times several hardened criminals in various parts of the country have been unleashed. This is coupled with the issue of unknown gunmen and other strange fellows already operating in the country.
5) Being Drunk in Love with a particular candidate or party NEVER automatically translate into good governance. Remember in this same country some other candidate in recent past were embraced likewise with regret following.
6) Speaking Up Now to Avoid Present Foreseeable Crises should be the major campaign for Any responsible Leader who sincerely has good intentions for the people of this country at this time. This is the period where motives are REVEALED.
KNOWING GOD'S WILL AT A TIME LIKE THIS
A) Righteousness, peace and Joy are the attributes of God's Kingdom. The Almighty is not the author of confusion as being observed in the country today.
Know that the evil one comes but to kill, steal and destroy. Satan is at work. He can use individuals, likewise authority figures.
B) The Devil's plans and action can be resisted. But a resistance must be put up with warfare prayers inspired by the Holy Spirit and in the believers full armour. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood......
C) God Can and Will Overturn All actions, Inactions, evil counsels and devices of the enemy in our land. If God's people will see the need to pray. He will Answer from Heaven.

The YULETIDE season world over is a period which is usually marked with a lot of movements and travels to various destinations. There are however certain things to be mindful about during this period when boarding commercial vehicles.
1) COMMERCIAL DRIVERS
Commercial drivers during this period overstretch their usual working schedule. Hence, fatigue & Impatience when driving is common.
This happens because they try to make 'ALL THE MONEY NOT YET MADE FROM JAN TO NOV' IN ONE MONTH CALLED DECEMBER.
BE CONCIOUS- THEY DO FALL ASLEEP WHEN DRIVING YOU.
2) VEHICLE MAINTENANCE
Due to increased number of trips during the festive season. Wear and tear naturally sets in on the vehicles. Unfortunately, many drivers would prefer to ignore even the 'obvious' maintenance needs than 'waste' time trying to put the vehicle in proper shape. Prices of good tyres and spare parts and even fuel have also made matters worse in this regard. Hence they just 'MANAGE IT LIKE THAT'
Pls do not take obvious signs for granted.
3) DRUNKENNESS: I NEED NOT SAY MUCH ABOUT THIS EPIDEMIC. (Just caution the driver.....he's also in festive celebration mood)
