I don't blame Paul. You see... when you have someone acting stupidly around you and you did not stand up to correct them. The older brother; Jude was supposed to stand up for the right thing, but he thought if they break up, Paul will blow more than Peter. Money undertone; love should be unconditional. Things don't have to get ugly before one realizes his/her mistakes. HWA to Peter & Lola. 1 Like |

GoTV: You might be the most righteous man on earth. Laws are not meant to hurt people but to protect them. The "Nigerian Govt" needs to strengthen the laws of the land. Jungle justice is a very serious problem in Nigeria until it's seriously dealt with. Scammers acts are condemnable but not for them to be killed. People change, circumstances change people. Yes, they should be prosecuted but not excuted. They will change and be useful for the society eventually. Relax man! |

When people start asking questions then you want to proof that u don't have problem but your wife, and u go outside your marriage to have a child, do u think your marriage will still stay? If you know the process of adoption, u will run. Think about it... our elders say "oo ji ya oni ogbon, tani teacher re"? We continue to subject ourselves to new form of slavery all in the name of religion. Which protocols do we observe in the church. What will happen if he sits there? We don't respect one another, we only do 'eye service'... if someone dresses very well, and comes to worship in a luxurious vehicle, we quickly honour him, is that what Christ taught us? I hope we will free ourselves one day, I'll leave too. 1 Like |

None of the Bible verses say something about Easter, it was quotes from so called christians. Jesus christ specifically told his apostles how he would like to be remembered, I cor. 11:23- 23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. Not Easter, not Christmas. |

I don't understand something... some folks follow their fav celebrities on social media to catch news, updates, and latest gists about them. If one of the so called fans or followers now resolve to attack to disdain the celebrity what do we call him or her? ![]() |

mascottboy: You just qouted a passage that you don't know what it means "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone" Do you even know how the Bible is divided? When did Christianity actually start? before Christ or after his resurrection? Please don't be myopic about the truth. Read my script again. |

Hmmm... even when they know that tithe is not authorized among Christians, the pastors still want to receive tithes because we're talking about money. The love of money, the root of all evil. 2 Likes |

When Christ first sent out his apostles- Matt. 10:5-15, he told them “but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel…” not to gentiles or Samarians. When Jesus died, and was risen, he gave his apostles, and disciples the greatest commission to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Mark 16:15-16 On the Pentecost day when Peter and other apostles preached and 3 thousand souls added to the Church… I mean people of different races “Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.. Acts 2:6-45 The Holy Spirit led the Apostles and in one of their teachings, Paul wrote in I Cor. 16:1-2 “Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come” Contrary to the assumption of some, the early Christian church and ministry were not supported by tithes but by freewill offering. Many Christians pooled their goods and shared their possessions equally (Acts 4:32-37). Apostles urged Christians to give according to his means (II Cor. 8:2-15) 9:6-12, I John 3:17-18) Let’s go back, the law of tithe; only Levites have the right to receive tithe of the people. After all, the Jewish leaders have the Old Testament as their Scriptures and that’s what it commanded. And since there is no Temple in existence (and subsequently no ordained Levites or Priests serving in the Temple), then a major factor in fulfilling the laws of tithing does not exist in our modern world. The early church had no tithing system. The tithes of the Old Testament were regarded as abrogated by the law of Christ. Do not be deceived, there are lots of laws that God gave the Israelites in the Old Testament that are no longer in existence, but lovers of money, and their stomachs hold on dearly to the law of tithe to enrich themselves. A friend once told me he would continue to give tithe, and God would ask his pastor what he did with the money…lol. That is not a good thing to say or do. Go out among them because they serve not our Father who is in heaven but they serve their stomachs., Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves…. Matth. 7:7-29. They continue to teach about tithe because if they change, there members will ask them what happened to the tithes they have paid over the years. He that has ears let him hear. 1 Like |

Democracy might have been around without any interruption for the past 16 years but many Nigerians still need to be re-oriented. It's a choice. ..I did not support the Oba's threat. We know Igbos don't know their place that's why history is not always on their side. They voted for GEJ out of bitterness and they are on same path again. Lagos has been a good host overall. The Nigeria state is a bit complicated state, and the constitution does not define a lot of things. |

The Igbos have seen where they belong now, there may never be an Igbo president in our time. They are not relevant in the political calculation of this country, they followed GEJ blindly, and with sentiments. Yorubas are smarter anyday! If Igbos have supported Pres.-elect Buhari, it might be there turn next but Yoruba is next in line again. They should ask GEJ their mandate. GEJ; because of his selfish ambition ruined PDP, and thought money could do it. Rigged Rivers, and few states with high numbers-dude, they were not enough. I feel sorry for Igbo people. GEJ was a bad market from the outset. He saw it himself, that's why he forced INEC hands to postpone the elections, thinking a victory over BH would do the magic. Too late! He had losers around him too. FFK-the bastard, Okupe-ninny. OBJ is an elder statesman, he knows what he's doing. He disassociated himself from bad market called GEJ. Long live Federal Rep. of Nigeria! |

I was not aware of deportation in Lagos-I left Nigeria few years ago, it sounds barbaric, and we claim we're practicing democracy. If you break the laws of any state in Nigeria, you should be tried and convicted. You can only deport Non-Nigerians. We still have a long way to go, if we can't get it right after the civil war, after 55 years of independence; why are we still together? I'm a Yoruba man, and sometimes I wonder what education has done to my people, I thought Fashola is SAN , he knows better. If any Nigerian can not relocate to any part of Nigeria, and conduct business or engage in any legitimate work, why are we still together? If we don't all see ourselves as Nigerians, it's time we start talking about going separate ways. (If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.
