I think it's fair enough that the OP stated the issue with the car, there are people who would buy as is, no questions asked. If you're not interested in buying you can open another thread for argument. Let those who are willing to buy bid. Treat others the way you'd want to be treated. 4 Likes |

labiyemmy: Can you make a DVD that will be compatible with Honda Sat Navs? I think with the data you have, you'd make a lot of money selling to brands like Honda, Toyota and other obtainable car companies with retail outlets in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Has any progress been made in resolving this issue? Do follow come Sat Navs now offer more than just aesthetic appearance in Nigeria? |

tshoboy: Highly unlikely. 17 yearly car with low mileage only means one of two things: It was accidented and salvaged before being sold off in auction or the odometer was damaged and replaced. If the mileage is that low as a result of use, then the interior should be relatively clean. In this case, there is considerable wear on the seats of the vehicle which suggests it was salvaged, fixed and sent to Nigeria. I saw a 2004 model of this car in Houston last Christmas for $200, but it was flooded. 1 Like |

I hope these are the same thieves who slapped my friend, stole her phone and stabbed her with a knife on both her palms. Jungle justice isn’t the way forward as there’s usually no concrete proof that you have the right person in most cases. When I was in secondary school, my friends and I went to play snooker and while we were out, one of (4 of us) them borrowed my last N20. They know I always have reserve money for transport so he thought I had another reserve outside that one. Long story short, as we approached our bus stop on our way back to school, the conductor asked for our fares and I pointed to my friend. He said he had no money on him. Fare was N5 per person. One of them had N10 on him and quickly paid for himself and one other. Me and this other guy were left in the bus and the already irate driver swore to take us to the garage for some beating. As he drove past our school he became distracted cos he kept swearing. He swerved into the oncoming lane causing a head on collision with a water tanker. Said driver emerged from the car bleeding and pointed at me who was seated behind him and said I tried to rob him with a biro. At this time we were just meters away from the garage. Area boys had gathered, the friend who I had given my N20 pretended to have fainted. I, who was conscious now was the one receiving the beating for both of us from area boys. I was just 16yrs old. They beat me till I lost consciousness. I then heard a man approach them and ask them if they really want my blood on their hands. He said, the police station isn’t far, just hand him over. Like an angelic intervention, they stopped at that moment and took me to the police station. There were no witnesses besides his conductor who was a young man. The police later found that the driver lied 2yrs later, after I had left the school. If not for the intervention of that man, I probably wouldn’t be here today. This occurred in 1994, when I was in SS2 but I remember every bit of it like it was yesterday. One may ask, why did the driver lie? He knew we were students and he couldn’t take the blame for the accident. He had just collected the bus for commercial driving and wanted our parents to fix it. Say No to jungle justice! 2 Likes 1 Share |
