Personally, I wouldn't say its inappropriate or completely right. I've had personal experiences using official mail to make enquiries and some few applications too. I noticed the formal responses I get as compared to using my personal mail. Though I usually copy my personal mail in all correspondence. Again, it depends on how lenient or strict your company's policies are as regards mail usage. |
