NonsenseGift: All C2 with payment issues, this text just came from a colleague.
Use the link and fix your payment issue.
Dear Batch C2 N-Power Beneficiaries
This is to notify you that we encountered issues validating the details you provided on your N-Power (NASIMS) profile. This could be due to error in data entry or in the case of your bank account, invalid/inactive account.
Kindly use the link below to validate your BVN and account details to continue maintaining your status on the N-Power Program. Link: https://validation.nasims.ng/
I sent this link to two people I know that haven't received their 3 months stipends in C2. They gave me feedback that the link keep showing " Npower ID not found" after they input their Npower ID. What could be the problem, please? |

Most states are still vetting. This money is world Bank's money for covid intervention for crying out loud. I don't know why state governments are sitting on it with lots of stringent processes for people to pass through before they disburse. They are looking for ways to syphon most of the money. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please, how easy is it to get PR after studies in NZ . I read on the internet that one needs 160 points to get ITA from the government which I find very hard to attain after checking out the point based system. I plan to apply to university of Wakaito for a PhD in geology. Any information around this would be appreciated. |

It's not about what you score. Some scored 80 percent and weren't selected. It's a random thing. I know 2 people who scored 45 percent and got shortlisted for stream 2. |

meetme01: Please, who can assist in downloading my wife's PPA letter. I would send the details privately.
Actually, the first one was downloaded via a link sent few weeks back. It was signed and uploaded. Upon submission at the LGEA, it was discovered that her PPA has been changed and was told to print the new PPA,sign and upload.
I have virtually tried all means I know. Changed browsers..network even went to the cafe. It's getting on me. I don't know why downloading a document çould be so hard in this era. Very frustrating and ridiculous.
Please, help me out. Madam don dey my neck o. Which one is submitting to LGEA after uploading. Is that step from NPower? |

Brief comment about Estonia permanent residency and citizenship:
If you live in Estonia for at least 5 years and you pass Estonian language exam= Permanent residency (As a student, the years you spend studying is counted as half. So a bachelor student who studies for 3 years is counted as 1.5 years).
Live in Estonia for at least 8 years and pass Estonian language exam and constitution exam = Citizenship
So 5 years + Language = Permanent residency 8 years + Language + Constitution exam = Citizenship. (There are exceptions to the statements above for PhD students).
If you are on TRP, your family will be on the same TRP as you when they come to join you. If you meet the requirements and become a permanent resident, your family will continue to get TRP (not PR!), unless they pass the language exam too.
If you become a citizen, your under age children can become citizens too. But your spouse or any overage kid will not become citizens!. They have to fight for citizenship by themselves. They will continue to get TRP.
If your spouse has a TRP that is not dependent on you, he/she will not be affected when you are deported. For example, she could get a job or start to study in a University, and apply for a new TRP on that basis.
I hope these help.
An alien who has a doctorate degree may be issued a residence permit for permanent residence without the prior five years of residence, adaptation and the requirement of the purpose of residence permit, on the condition that the compliance of the alien's higher education qualification with the doctorate degree has been assessed by the Estonian ENIC/NARIC centre and THE ALIEN HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY GRANTED A RESIDENCE PERMIT ON ANOTHER BASIS. I culled the above from Estonia website. Please help beam light on the area written in capital letters about an alien with PHD. What does the statement mean? |

Yes there are jobs. i have a friend there who is doing well.. Working as a PHD student can be challenging cos of study load and research but i think its doable. Besides PHD programs are free i guess. You are right. As a PHD student you won't need to rely much on jobs to be fine from the way I see it. You are automatically going to get 660 euros plus another 400 euros stipends monthly. And if your research is ICT/health tech related, another 440 euros would be added to your stipends. There is also Dora plus funding that takes care of seminars and conferences to other European countries during your PhD. 3 Likes |

Unfortunately you have to travel to another country since Estonia does not have an embassy in Nigeria. Fortunately, they now have an Embassy in dubai. This is good news. Dubai visa is easy to get compared to other countries 3 Likes |
