Those ones that recovered are not immune to the virus, they get reinfected if they are exposed again that is if they come in contact with an infected person or with the virus without doing the necessary things to prevent the virus from getting into them, then they become a new case, as at the time being there is no research result that has told us that those treated are immune to the virus. So it is.more like a cycle or a chain.
Now you see we are just wasting some more money. Thanks bro

God forbids it but if you go out now to get the food and in the process get the virus, you have put yourself and and your family in pain. That is whe you will cry "had i known" and that is a very bad cry. A very very bad cry.
I think I should lecture you few things you don't know about this covid 19. Please read on this forum about an epidemiologist sacked by state government in ibom state. Try to understand why he was sacked. That enough should give you an insight and deep knowledge about this virus but make sure your level of comprehension strong ooo so you get the message right. Good number of Nigerians had being infected and recovered without them knowing such process took place in them bodies. The virus is not as fearful as government made us to believe it. It simply bcuz they wanna make some more money on us. It's games and jokes please trust me.

I guess the lack of test kit they keep complaining is the issue, after series of treatment, the patients will be tested and retested to be sure he or she beat the virus twice within a space of one week of testing negative.
You guessed right. But what I don't understand and one is yet to tell us something about it is that of those ones discharged, those it mean they are now immune to the virus, they can't ever catch it again cuz if they still have to protect themselves after being discharged, then we are going no where. We are just wasting money and resources. Please can you tell me what you know or guess something? Thanks

It's actually working. If not it would be worse.

In a place like UK, without lock down one person would infect about 2.6 other people. A place where households are smaller and many use own cars.

In 9ja, if no lock down with packed buses, markets and so many living in crowded face-me-I-face-you, one person might infect 5 to 6 people. Nigeria has not even given the figure what the factor could be.

It's clearly hard on people economically.
Yes you're right now and the person you quoted was also right cuz lockdown seems not working but I'd better day it won't solve the problem. Good number of people lives well in UK compare to 9ja, and upon that they all are getting stimulus from the government for locking them down, same not happen here. BETTER KILLED BY VIRUS TO KILLED BY HUNGER

The number of discharged ones is slowing down I hope this isn't deliberate and attempt to loot some money by telling us people are not getting better and that they need some more money to treat them

Crime / Re: Family Of Late Friday Arunsi Who Was Killed By Drunk Police Officers Cries Out by Bevmo: 3:33pm On Apr 26, 2020
Metrix147:
As police high delegations continue to pay a condolence visit to the family of Late Friday Arunsi, who was last week murdered by a team of policemen said to have acted under the influence of alcohol, members of the family have requested that the police authority buries their late son in addition to their demand for justice so that the pain caused by his death could be mitigated.

The uncle of the late Friday Arunsi and spokesman of the family, Kingshert Uban Kalu Ukpai made this demand on Saturday when the newly deployed Abia State Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede paid a condolence visit to the family.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjEoYS_c5dM
Describing the new CP as a mother, he expressed gratitude over the visit despite taking over as the helmsman of the state police command just a day before.

There is money to buy it...they are not just ready to invest much in it...because they believe if they can arrest those with travel history recently and those that came in contact with them. That the spread will be easily defeated..

They have the funds.
Now you're talking and telling us what we already know. A whole Kwara State could only afford two ventilators and 8 bed of isolation centre ( so ridiculous ) from what you said up above there, you assumed they are just making money out of it, now please suggest way out. Thanks

I am tired of the lockdown as well but I don't think it's time for the lockdown to be called off...

To those saying the lockdown didn't work.....I hope you are right...but I am sure it worked as it showed us an indication of what is ahead....Those people tested so far are those with traveling history and those that came in contact with them...

Can we be rest assured that all those that came in contact has been fully located and tested (definitely No, My neighbor is one of the medical personnel at the isolation centre in onikan..she said Lagos is really under testing...and I ask why she said the test kit are so limited in supply and that ventilators are as well limited).

If the lockdown is called off or relaxed, we all Sabi as Lagos dey....our bus na hustle..bus stop na hustle...market na hustle..church na crowd..mosque crowd..felashrine crowd...qulox crowd....malls crowd....

If people still disobey the lockdown when it was so called in full flight...do u think when it's relaxed or totally called off people will not just go straight to normalcy.

Can any state in Nigeria handle a surge if things go south ( which I pray it doesn't)

Have u watched the channels TV interview with the deputy coordinator for the covid 19 in their state...he said a reported 640 death in one week..though natural death join but we all know something is wrong...that's because their governor is not proactive enough...

What do I suggest.

- This coming week government should make effort to create local response team in all local government and train personnel to Man those centres...every local government has office already ..that can be achieved in a week...they will deploy trained personnel from the isolation centres and general hospital with adequate PPEs

- Full sensitisation at local level...A team of people go into street with their mega phone...and share safety tips and proper explanation and maybe a small pamphlet with pictures.

- Those centres at local level will be there to test and absorb if any case arise and might be transferred to a mother centre (Onikan, IDH and any other created ) in case of severe issues.

- Government should as well invest in Test kit and ventilators atleast divert some more money to the health sector...

All this is attainable in two weeks....Then the government can relax the lockdown ...But forget it relaxing the lockdown is like suspending it...We all know our kind of mentality in Nigeria here...

My humble Opinion
You talk as if it won't cost any money. Your neighbor told you the test kits and ventilators at limited, that should tell you there is no money to procure more it them. When no money to procure just these two main important things, I bet government won't even look your suggestions twice talk of take to it.

Na lie. It depends on the area. I just used Glo 4G data to post this. I've been using Glo 4G data for at least 2 years now and its be excellent in my area.

Every service provider have areas they are weak or strong.
You're right about that. Here in my state there is no 4G but with 3G I was able to registered for three people at Custom website despite people been complaining of bad network. In fact I don't use any other network aside Glo cuz of big data and stable internet connection though not as fast and Airtel but the stability at a normal pace.

I'm gonna wait for further clarification to this stupid tweet.

Because of all the things to play politics with in Ebonyi state, why would Umahi choose to do it with EBSU?

Why rename after a northerner?

What direct impact has Buratai's reign as COAS had specially on Ebonyi and it's indigenes?

Have we now run short of state icons to honour with the institution? There is Nwiboko Obodo, there's Walter Ferghbur, there are others.

So because of 2023, Umahi is willing to trade anything for northern support?

This is crass stupidity and foolishness and asslicking in its lowest ebb that must never stand.

How many state universities in the entire north is named after an Igbo man, living or dead, hero or villain?

So after Burutai sent his boys to maim our sons, Umahi thinks he should be honoured with a monument, rather than preparing his charges for murder of unarmed and defenseless destinies?

What is this?
Shut up! Pained Soul
