Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Do People Stay Unemployed For So Long??? by Biggoozz: 11:34am On May 31, 2013
They are not aware that those without a job stand no chance compared to those on a job before any recruiter. Employed people are more likely to sell themselves better, respected, negotiate with pride for higher pay and all that. That is why they target the run down public sector to go use their mediocrity destroy it further and collect people's hard earned tax money.

Family / Re: When Can A Nigerian Woman Divorce Her Husband? by Biggoozz: 1:54pm On May 23, 2013
If people do not have the discipline to handle marriage and reproduction, they should turn the other way when they see the opposite sex and stop producing dysfunctional homes and emotionally wounded people that in turn create problems for the society.

Family / Re: When Can A Nigerian Woman Divorce Her Husband? by Biggoozz: 1:53pm On May 23, 2013
Divorce is a cancer, It has destroyed America and I am happy it is not going to be very successful soon in Nigeria. Of course violence and cheating against a spouse is criminal and should be dealt with, but we must find other family healthy solutions and not divorce.

Politics / Re: Jonathanian A New Nigerian English Word By Nasir El Rufai by Biggoozz: 1:50pm On May 20, 2013
ceah: Nasir El Rufai just shared this on his Facebook page. What do you think Guys ?...

"Jonathanian" (noun, adjective) - a new Nigerian-English word to describe:

(1) a person that blindly justifies incompetence, corruption, impunity and insecurity by turning blind eye to track record and obvious facts,

(2) a morally-flexible person who adopts religious, ethnic or regional toga to explain away crass incompetence in governance,

(3) a person, family or group that benefits from such deliberate GEJ programmes like fuel subsidy fraud, pension fraud, diversion of security budgets, wanton killing of innocents by insurgents that are at various times referred to as boko haram, militants, kidnappers, armed robbers, oil bunkerers, etc but are GEJ's siblings, have infiltrated his government and also ghosts, depending on what is convenient.

The above is a proposed new entry to Webster's World Dictionary (2013). Amendments and additions to the draft are hereby requested.

Use of abusive words and insults indicative of Jonathanian contributions. Good morning.

This is to ridiculous to believe, but OP, you need to put up the source.

Politics / Re: Arewa Youths Reject FG’s N5.8bn Compensation For Post-election Violence by Biggoozz: 10:46am On Apr 26, 2013
taharqa: Jeez! He even answer, still in his ignorance!! Read d article that is in front of you, guy: the compensatn is going DIRECTLY to d victims of d Post-2011 Election Violence tru d States. Victims like Churches, Mosques, Schools, Houses, Businesses, Palaces, etc burnt; Victims like people who were killd or injured Or who had their livelihood destroyd, including those Corpers. Etc... This is Comprehensive Compensation (not d Emergency Compensation which many of d Victims hv already receivd); and just as d article indicatd, you need to physically Ascertain the Claims and Extent of d Damages suffered by the Victims if what you are doing is a Comprehensive Compensation Package. That's one of d reasons why it took sm time (2 years) b4 the Evaluation and actual Disbursement was finali concluded; and the more reason why these so-calld 'Arewa Youths' were been REALLY SILLLY in linking the 'delay' to d alleged 2015 Electn of d President, as though the PROCESS startd toady apart from d fact that d said election is still 2 years away.... Nuff said

Your statement does not agree with the article bro. Why would it be the Northern youth forum of all platforms disbursing it? If the funds are meant for churches, corpers, businesses belonging to non-Northerners inclusive; then who gave the Arewa forum the right to reject the fund?

Health / Re: How Do You Deal With Suicide Thoughts? by Biggoozz: 1:34pm On Apr 17, 2013
alosiby92: Suicide. Self murder. Ending one's life. How has it affected you? how did you deal with it?
A few days ago I lost a friend of mine that I was quite close to. He was the one person I would have never expected to take his own life yet he did. To him this world was just too much and he couldn't take it anymore. depression coupled with being bipolar drove him to do what he did. At times i am angry with him for not reaching out, but most ties I cry and think of how short life is and how any things I wanted to say to him and wished I could have been more than just an ordinary friend to him.

At the same time he never realised how much of an impact he had on people's lives....I myself in the past have contemplated suicide when i felt life was rough. I remember being really depressed and telling my parents and all they said was that I should focus on my schoolwork. I wanted to end it all. But then my faith and the thought of all those who would miss me and be devasted and who would blame themselves for my death prevented me. I'm glad I am still alive today to share this.
How have you handled the suicide of a friend or loved one?
have you contemplated suicide yourself?

If so, do share reasons why (if you feel comfortable)
Let those who love you most know how you are feeling, get help. talk to someone. suicide is not the best alternative. there is always a way, something to live for no matter how little. Life is a gift. dont make it premature or waste the time you have left cherish it. Help prevent someone else's loss. it helps to know someone cares.

In 2007, after I lost about N4m in two separate business crisis after borrowing as a final attempt of long hard-work to pull out of doom and poverty, I did not only think of killing myself, but I started gasping for dear breath due to hopelessness. God sent me a saviour who offered some hope and today I have a happy son, wife and family member and the society, who thank God that I am alive love them and impact their lives. Today I am also doing well and dont think that a N4m cheque would make me loose my calm.

This is what I've got to say...I have never heard of any suicide case that does not have a parallel evidence of people with more challenging situations who by some determination or miracle overcame and confounded the situations. PEOPLE THAT COMMIT SUICIDE COULD HAVE HAD A LIFE BEYOND THEIR DREAMS IF THEY HAD WAITED, IF SOMEONE SPOKE HOPE ABOUT GOD'S LOVE, POWER AND ABILITY TO DELIVER.

Mankind suffer because of lack of knowledge of God and His purpose for our lives. I know this God in whom I believed- Just this morning my father was jerking and dying and I asked for people with him thousands of miles away to put the phone in his ears, I spoke to this same God; the father of us all and commanded his life to stay, and the man got restored from the crisis. Now my revelation of this JESUS has deepened and I have authority and dominion over this life.
