My friend Duruigbo Kingsley on December 20th set out on a journey from onitsha to owerri

According to him, he had a program as he was a voice artist and an mc too.

He was running late for the program, usually he would enter the park and board a bus but on getting to goodness and mercy transport in upper iweka, he discovered that it was just one passenger that have boarded the bus and as time was running out, he calculated the time the bus might get filled and found out that it might get worst.

So he came out n entered a bus along the road shouting owerri owerri.

They were not waiting to load passengers, they were just picking and moving.

He was happy and boarded

The bus picked up more 3 people making them 6 in number as they set out for the journey

He said the last place he could remember them passing was along metallurgical institute onitsha and he didn’t get himself again.

He woke up by 1am in the night and felt weak. He noticed he have been tied both hands and legs likewise every one else in the room. It was an uncompleted building in a thick forest.

While the 6 of them woke up, the only gal that was with them started shouting on top of her voice and wailing for help, thereby drawing the attention of their kidnappers.

They came into the building with a Torchlight and gave the gal a dirty slap.

The kidnappers were 5 men, they were armed with guns n cutlasses.

The one who seems to be the leader started making some calls to their clients as regards to the landed goods. Few minutes later, they heard cars landing and people were coming inside the uncompleted building.

The first man that came chose the gal and just then, the gal was taken somewhere at the back and they could hear her shouting in a loud voice and later stopped. Few mins later her body parts were brought to the buyer and he made some transfer and left with it.

There were 5 buyers in all. After the fourth buyer, it was remaining Kingsley and a boy of probably 19 or 20

The last buyer was a young guy like him too, he wanted buying him but the kidnapper’s leader advices him on picking the smaller guy that he sees one spirit in Kingsley that if dey kill him, they may have a problem.

This caused a misunderstanding between the kidnappers (this was happening after all buyers have left) they wanted to kill him cos he wasn’t better than the other ones they killed.

After a long argument, he was untied, and asked to raise 500k for his release. Poor Kingsley who thought he was dead already, saw a hope of life but it took him 3 day’s going on 4days to raise the money from calls he made.

Most family members failed him, saying he was just making things up for money.

Well wen the money was complete, they took him on a bike and drove him out. He said they rode for more than 3 hours in the forest before they stopped him at a point and directed him to walk his way out.

He was just on a boxer without clothes and slippers. They only dropped his sim card with him

He found his way to the outskirts of aba at osisioma. Where he asked for help n got home back to onitsha.

Today he is alive and he has never allowed anything of the world to worry him as regards what he have seen in life.

For me, I was wondering, if I was asked to call people to raise 500k for me, I will just tell them to kill me cos common who will I even call.

Nigeria has failed us ooo cos some of these people dealing on this kinda shit is because they have tried better things in life and couldn’t get so they started such unhuman trade.

God have mercy on us ooo

This country is no longer safe

Avoid emergency, follow legit ways, even if na one passenger dey there, wait for it

Better be late than the late. Some of those people killed and sold their families are somewhere looking for them now.
