Foreign Affairs / Re: 1st America Black President Obama by bjluv: 10:58am On Jan 20, 2008
sick sick sick----

damn world, sick!

got ya bizzy really but hey, if Osama wants to be identified as a black, we dont have to think otherwise. people tend to associate more with the culture they are satisfied with. does it also make you sick to see many white kids acting black? Dont tell me you havent seen or heard of one---

Africans needs to write themselves on green first so that this whole African thing will stay and be recognised. There are millions of black folks worldwide who will still choose a white over a black anyday and who would still believe that the whites are superior and founded all things. Dont ask me where I got that from but you can as well start by asking an old fellow from ya village his opinion and hear him out grin

Osama is someone running for the white house. See him as Osama and care less if he is white, black, red or green. See what he can offer the people and the American nation and rather not waste your time diggin the history/racial books here. He wants to be there as president and if things go fine, he shall. Do you mean that he should be then called the first mulato president of the USA if the wins? wink and until when an immigrant from lets say Sudan who is from a pure black family line becomes, the president of the USA should we say the first black president

Politics / Re: If You Were The President Of Nigeria. by bjluv: 5:30am On Jan 19, 2008
Only if I could anyway and to be precise

1st task---secure my ass :p
2. get all the Nigerians who have ever in one way or the other ate from of the Nigerian resources at home or abroad in shackles. I mean all from 1960 when we got independence. they all need  to clarify their position in the Nigerian economical history.
3. Get IBB, Abubakar and OBJ all other uneducatated morons who have find their way to various position of power in the Nigerian society + to books. [No one would be pardoned and that is why I will have to 1st secure my ass]
4. Get rid of all the old engines in the system. They are all worn out already and have nothing to offer other than stealing public funds + they are not well knowledgeable about the global field.
5. Bring the change in our people's lives. There is too much suffering in a nation that has it all. Ask Nigerians for their honesty in making a better life for each and every Nigerian.
6. Reform, Agriculture, Health, Education , Technology and Youth&Sports ministries
6. Bring back free education at all levels & subsidized health cover
7. Make sure that every institution publicly declare a credible inflow/outflow of FINANCES every year

(before or while all these is in progress, introduce a nationwide identification system for all Nigerians which will be effective since that would be the only way they will quality for free education or health)

---and the list goes on!

Food / Re: Why Do People Stool After Eating Beans? by bjluv: 4:35am On Jan 19, 2008
thanks datnigadaz for talking about the "mess" part of this discussion. I laughed my ass off reading mess in the lines. Reminded me of the days back in 9ja,

Well all I have to say is that eating beans is good for you if your body has got a nice relationship with it. Over here, I dont get it really easy especially when I disappear into the Finnish lands so when I do so, I try to use other equivalent foods as replacement until I get back to the limelight.

just my 2kobo cheesy
Politics / Re: Army Officers Who Sold Weapons To Militants by bjluv: 4:23am On Jan 19, 2008
well this is a big disgrace to Nigeria, Nigerians and the whole of Africa herself. We (the whole world) keep blaming the west for guntrade to Africa and within our soils but now, we could ourselves see that the rotten ones amongst us are the black sheep. I think there should be a re-do of the the movie, "The Lord of War" (2005)

Only until when Africans learn to be honest with him/herself will Africa as a whole progress.

This shows also how "capable" is the Nigerian system in various ways,

@PapaBrowne,

you sounded like BBC or CNN but have you really walked on the streets of Tallin or Riga? I have and I know they wont necessarily smile at you and if they do, they probably think you are the puff daddy they saw on TV last night. That is how screwed it can be tongue

Baltics are improving and recently joined the EU and schegen countries and that is true but come here and ask Africans who have even 2 or more degrees from educational institutions in Sweden, Finland, Norway if they could get job easily not to talk of some kind of Estonia?  Folks here do ice-hockey [cleaning jobs] man!

Go to somewhere like Varkaus in Finland or then Tromso in Norway and they will probably fling your Estonia-earned degrees out of the window if you are not careful. Meaning they appreciate only degrees from their own country. They might be nice and tell you to go back to the Uni or Poly in their country and get more courses done! A dutch friend of mine couldnt get any job in Finland (besides cleaning) with his bachelors earned from a dutch uni and he was advised to go back to school. You mention Ukraine     common man--- grin

PapaBrowne, it seems you havent been living in this region for long or then you are probably blind by what you see  cheesy

PapaBrowne:
@Babasin.
With a student visa, you are automatically entitled to a residence permit in I think all European Union countries.

Not in all EU countries!

PapaBrowne:
On your second question, no country in the world is waiting for black people to give jobs to, not even any of the big  three of US, Canada, UK.
The logic is:  as a black man and a Nigerian for that matter, wherever you are, you have to beat the odds to succeed.

I fall into these catergories and I am glad that I could say that I did succeed, but it wasnt something that happened overnite. I still know schoolmates and friends from Africa and Nigeria who have moved away to the UK, US, Canada, Australia or other European countries just because their 1 or more-than-2 degrees couldnt get them any reasonable  job besides a cleaner or paper(letter/newspaper)-boy job!

PapaBrowne:
If violent racism was a huge problem for blacks in the baltics, they wouldn't have easily joined the EU or schegen area. Besides, pay a visit to Germany and learn more about racism.I think it is very pronounced there

Do you think the EU didnt know there is racism in the baltic countries or then the founding EU countries does not have a racism problem in their societies? That wouldnt and didnt stop these countries from signing the Schengen agreement and joining the EU+Schengen

I like your arguments. Lets take a cruise on Tallink or VikingLine to Tallin and thou shall know the truth  smiley

im glad i do the kitchens in my own household but for the past 3days, i havent been able to see the kitchen due to work/projects and all that man stuffs.

Buy hey, your man should really understand that this is a relationship and both of u need to work together if your team will eventually win at all. Please endeavour to talk him to his senses---even if food is the way to a man's heart, that shouldnt make him an FFO and cocky head tongue Sorry but true---a man should be able to work hard and be the ONE to his family.
Travel / Re: Estonia Visa by bjluv: 3:38am On Dec 28, 2007
hey when you go to Helsinki harbour, you could see what is going on between the baltic countries and Finland through to the EU. Finland is like the point of entry for all those people, they just want to rush into the EU  and make better lives for themselves too and that is why you'll see majority of them coming to study here [with their coconut heads] , marry a very old woman/man or then go the opposite way i.e sell themselves. And yes to some extent, even drive to your compound in their Ladas telling you how beautiful the Russian/Estonian/Latvian girl in the car is and how you could have her as a fast Zap or then, that they have some fuel/cigarettes/contrabands for sale

Common poster, somewhere else please! I do not want you to move from frypan to real hell fire or then you just want to be like the evangelist I met in Tallin sometimes back in 2006 wink

sundayday:

l will like to travel to Estonia for my education, where can l apply for Estonia visa, because there is no Estonia embassy in Nigeria,

sundayday:

l will like to study in latvia but where can l apply for latvia  student visa in nigeria or how will l get a latvia student visa because latvia has no embassy  in nigeria?

I wonder if you're really serious with this - Baltic countries? I live quite near those countries and I have been there. It is just a waste of time my dear fellow naija man/woman. Look for your education somewhere else where you can get peace of mind and a job! Need more info and you still want to go there, holla @ me but don't say I didnt warn you when you finallly see what life would be for u when u get there. Dont forget you can't bleach your skin easily though  cheesy

plus going to Estonia or Latvia is like getting a 50cm long /15cm wide d.i.c.k up your throat/ass or something. Just 4get about those places if you want to have some peace, I used to have a Lithuanian mate back in school who told me that if we were back in his country, he wont even say a word to me but rather mob me shocked

Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and even some parts of Finland are all same. Better move towards more western part of Europe for what you are looking for!!! A word is enuff---
