Sub- Topic :How do married women whose husbands are in diaspora cope sexually?

Having heard how some women lament how their husbands have been in diaspora for years, I feel compassion for them and to think that they are not better than widows beat my imagination.

The average married women rather die than cheat especially if she is Christian and wouldn't give in to adultery.

This is quite logical, spiritual and emotional. Is there an exception to them?

John : This Nigeria's president is a joker
Obama: Why did you say that?

John: I was with him a few days ago and he promised that he will ensure that the election date is not moved and that it will be free and fair.
Obama: That guy sure doesn't keep to promises, what were you expecting.

John: I think you are right about that, lots of examples to sight from.......... the chibok girls return, reduction of unemployment, providing power just to mention a few.

Obama: I just hope the Nigerian citizens are thinking right to vote a person that can thoroughly deal with insurgency and corruption.
John: will that be Buhari?

Obama: Well I can't say because if he hears he will say "America will Know", then his wife may come to the TV crying "dere is God o".

This is a guessed discussion of the referenced person...............is PDP turning Nigeria to a joke?

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE FEBRUARY 14.

Who will give you a better life?

* POWER : The power situation of the country will NEVER improve if this government remains in power, as the money bags supporting this government are the sole importers of fuel and diesel and they make billions of naira in profit everyday by gaining from the epileptic power situation of the country.

* SECURITY : Billions are budgeted for security but yet nothing to show for it , especially in the North East of the country. Jonathan has politicized the military and made it equally Corrupt. The military, police, sss only flex their powers at the opposition and harmless citizens.

*YOUTH EMPOWERMENT: Sure P and the likes are money siphoners the government setup to siphon money. Those who needed to benefit from it aren't as every penny is being embezzled by the same government.

*TRANSPORTATION: Before you start pointing at the railways which is Jonathan's ONLY achievement, ask yourself if that is the same kind of coaches used in this present day world. Brazil, Czech, Venezuela, Mexico and others just resuscitated their rail transport and each country spent FAR LESS than what our government claimed to have spent and with a more modernized end product.

*ECONOMY: Nigeria's economy is SINKING SERIOUSLY. Whether you believe Charles Soludo, Sanusi Lamido, and other economist or not, the truth remains that an economy tsunami is about to take place in the coming months. Over 30% of government workers, banks, oil and gas, Marine, insurance, fund managers, manufacturing will be out of job in the next few months. Ngozi Iweala and others can twist figures and refute the truth as much as they can but the truth is about to unveil itself soon.

Has Buhari Shot Himself In The Foot? by Chinedu Rylan

At some point it all looked like Gen. Buhari and his All Progressives Congress (APC) team would pose a deadly serious threat to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and wreck their chances of returning the incumbent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to power come May 29. But all the early good works and concerted efforts to win the sympathy and support of the masses, and gain their votes have been undone, almost single-handedly by the party itself.

Few weeks ago, it was safe to say that the winner of the February 14 Presidential election was anyone’s guess, bearing in mind that the two frontrunners in the elections were – and still are – neck-and-neck in terms of the number of core supporters they have been able to amass. Both, however, would have – and may still be – banking on the support of millions of undecided eligible Nigerian voters whose minds were yet to be made up on who to support and who not to support. Unfortunately, it now seems that the bulk of those erstwhile undecided voters are moving further away from the Progressives, if online sentiments and those in the streets are anything to go by.

I’ve come across several previously undecided voters, both online and offline, who are now almost certain that they will camp under the Umbrella. I went ahead to require of them what informed their decisions and almost all of them were united in their rationales for settling for the PDP. Assuming that I queried 50 persons about their reasons for shifting to the PDP, 45 of them told me that the APC and Muhammadu Buhari have played into the arms of the PDP.

Now, how has the APC and Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) played into the hands of the People's Democratic Party?

The PDP in their campaign trails and in their online push for reelection have never failed to remind us of how intolerant of any form of opposition, ideological or otherwise, GMB has been. They went as far back as his 1983-85 military regime where he put a host of opposing voices behind bars to buttress their point. One would have expected that the general, as a seasoned and elite politician that he is, would in response guard his utterances and be more watchful of what he says or does in the public and to the media, but the reverse has so far been the case.

In a protest letter recently channeled through the legal director of the APC Presidential Campaign Organization, Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume (SAN), General Buhari threatened to file a lawsuit against the federal government-owned Nigerian Television Authority and the privately owned African Independent Television for what he described as “hate documentaries” against him that were aired in the tail end last month by the stations, unless they retract them and issue a formal apology. Such threats and disposition by an aspiring office holder (or even a serving office holder) are rather uncalled for in a democratic setting. The world over, leaders and politicians are scrutinized and castigated by the media on a daily basis and it’s seen as part of their obligations as watchdogs in the society.

If world leaders should file a lawsuit for every alleged calumny or supposed act of “hate” they've been subjected to, then the mountain of lawsuits that would be filed by the likes of Barack Obama, David Cameron, Vladimir Putin or even our very own Goodluck Jonathan will take several generations of humanity to tackle. These leaders are lampooned on a daily basis yet you rarely hear them threatening to sue anyone for it. His own case shouldn't be any different. So my advice to the General is that the sooner he develops a thick skin to withstand all the media "assault," the better for him, because he will be receiving a truckload of it should he eventually win.

In like manner, the leadership of the APC is doing their presidential and vice presidential aspirants and their image as a whole no good by backing out of a series of debates organized by different corporate bodies and organizations within the country in the run-up to the Valentine’s Day polls. Their no-show at the Nigerian Elections Debate Group (NEDG)’s Vice Presidential debates and their anticipated no-show at the presidential debates to be organized by the trio of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN), Arise News and ChannelsTV do nothing to gainsay the allegation leveled against them by the People’s Democratic Party of being fight shy of a public face-off in which they will have to tackle tough questions and defend their manifestos and party agenda before Nigerians.

Though the APC has come out to deny this allegation and have done their best to repudiate the "dodging theory" of the PDP by citing perceived bias on the part of the organizers of the debates as their reason for backing out, the average and neutral Nigerian on the streets is not buying it. The rebuttal has done very little to convince neutrals who are beginning to toe the PDP’s line. My advice to them is that they should vet their options and come up with a positive decision in time, before the election sets in.

For the sake of time and space, I will stop at these. These and many more PR missteps and political miscalculations have conspired to put the party in a precarious position and rob them of the people's goodwill which they once owned. In an election that will likely be decided by the undecided voters, the APC are fast losing speed and direction. Concerted efforts must be made to repair what has already been damaged and put their push for the country's top job back on track, else they run the risk of losing by a wide margin at the poll.

Sports / Re: Mikel Winning AFOTY Award Will Be An Insult To African Football by Blazingsun: 4:53pm On Jan 03, 2014
heykims: It is January and very soon , the African footballer of the year 2013 will be named in Lagos Nigeria precisely on the 9th of January. The player to be crowned with this feat should however be very much evaluated and deemed fit to earn this prestigious honour because his personality on the field of play either in the national team or club will go a long way in speaking for African football.

CAF released the final 10-man shortlist of the contenders of this prestigious award last year and interestingly, four Nigerian players made the list. Many Nigerians and even Africans have however tipped John Obi Mikel as the possible winner evident from the fact that he won the Nations cup last year, Europa cup in Europe, participated in d Confederations cup and so on.

MY VIEW
As a Nigerian and a proud African, I see it as not just underscoring but extremely insulting to African football if a player like Mikel wins the award. How can a mere bench warmer in Europe be crowned the African footballer of the year just by virtue of the fact that his national team wins a title or his club wins the European league?

A deserving footballer of the hear should be such that is very resourceful both at home and in clubs. A reigning footballer of the year should at least even make the top three best player in his club even if he doesn't get a spot in the FIFA ranking.

Mikel Obi surely can't make the best ten in Chelsea's team despite being a senior player. I'm of the view that its better not to name anyone the footballer of the year than titling a bench warmer in Europe, what a mock, an insult I can't tolerate as an African.

Nigerians should be please stop being sentimental, selfish and self centred and canvass for a better representative for African football.

Left to me, if at all a Nigerian merits the award, it is Vincent Enyeama, the Nigeria's assistant skipper at goal but Cote d'Ivoire's Yaya Toure surely represents Africa better.

What's your view?
What are u talking about, it is Africa Footballer of the Year, not European Footballer of the year. When Ayegbeni was doing well for club, he was underperforming in Africa. If the guy win make you cry

I definitely knew I have to blog about this, at about 7:36:26am on 05-07-2013 I received this strange SMS from M T N STAR and in my mind I said "They don come again", massage content reads "This line have been assign N75,000 Airtime. For your line to be loaded Now, Visit [www.rechargestar.com] your login PIN is "8282". You have 2 hrs left" "SCAM" I screamed in my mind.

I decided to take the following steps since I had internet access, I went to the website "www.rechargestar.com" see exact screenshot below: www.theamebo.com

I entered my winning code as provided in my SMS "8282", see screen shot of displayed message below:
www.theamebo.com

I obviously knew this was a scam, I then called MTN customer services "180" to make enquiries about the website and the said recharge promo, they went on and on with adverts until I was frustrated and hung up the line so that I will not miss my 2 hrs window to make the "N75,000 which I can withdraw from any mobile money or transfer to my loved ones "winks".

Alas I visited the real MTN site "www.mtnonline.com" dats all, see the screen shot below and the striking resemblance:
www.theamebo.com

The only observable difference is that the "media center" tab was replaced with "win/bonanza", so much for a scamming population. At this junction, I was curious so I sent someone to get me a N1,500 recharge card, I am sure you can guess that the only reason I load this denomination of recharge card is for "BIS".

I then ran a search for the "recharge star" bonanza on the MTN (mtnonline) site see search result below:
www.theamebo.com

Nothing like recharge star existed, this concluded my "FBI", "CIA" and "SSS" investigation, it is now time to see the result of playing the "MUGU" or "MUMU" which ever you understand better.

I loaded the recharge card on the site, see wetin the talk o...............

"This is fraud, I just bought this recharge card, scratched it my self and loaded it on this site", I decided to do the regular *555*xxxxxxxxxxxxx# , MTN said the card has been used.

I did all this because of some people out there who repeatedly fall into this telecommunication scams in the name of trying to look for what is not missing. ABEG wise UP

Religion / Extracts Of The Sermon At The May 2013 Holy Ghost Service At The Redemption Camp by Blazingsun: 5:33pm On May 08, 2013
May 2013 Holy Ghost Service
Theme: The Wonders of His Favour
Preacher: Pastor EA Adeboye
Text: Esther 5:1-3
“Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house. And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.”

The first thing we notice from the text is that the King saw Esther where she was standing at the inner court of the palace. No matter where you are, when the time for God to favour you comes, that favour will locate you. In Genesis 18:1-5, favour located Abraham at home in the plain of Mamre. In 1samuel 16, David was in the farm looking after his father’s sheep and favour located him there. In Mark 3:1-5, the man with the withered hand was in the synagogue, a place of worship when favour located him. In mark 5:1-15, favour located the mad man of Gadara at the grave yard. Whether you are at home, in the office, market place or church, the favour of the almighty God will locate you tonight in Jesus name. You will obtain favour in the sight of the King of kings tonight in Jesus name. Amen!

The second thing noticed from the text was that the king didn’t just see Esther, he focussed his attention on her. When the time for God to favour you comes, God won’t just see you, He will focus His attention on you! In John 5:2-6, there was a multitude at the pool of Bethesda, but a man who had been ill for 38years was singled out, Christ didn’t just see him like others, he focussed his attention on him and the man received his healing. In the name that is above every other name, God will focus His attention on you tonight in Jesus name. Whatever has been blocking the eyes of those who will help you, will be removed in Jesus name. Amen!

The third thing is that when the time to favour you comes, God will be personally involved in your affairs. It is one thing to be noticed but it is another thing to be given attention and helped. In John 9:2-7, Christ got involved in the case of the man born blind, he spat on the floor, took the clay to anoint his eyes, told him to go wash at the pool of Siloam and the man received his sight. Tonight the Almighty God will get involved with your situation in Jesus name. Amen.

The fourth thing we notice from the text is that when the King saw Esther, he raised his golden sceptre which symbolised that he was beckoning on her to come closer. When the time for God to favour you comes, He beckons to you to come nearer. In Exodus 3:1-4, Moses was at the back of the desert taking care of his father in law’s flocks as usual but when the time of his favour came, he saw a burning bush, then God called him to come closer and from that day on his life never remained the same. In a way you have never heard from God before, you will hear from Him tonight in Jesus name. Amen.

When God beckons to you, it is to bring you close to his power! In the text, the golden sceptre the King raised was a symbol of his power. He showed her the sceptre, she touched it and he then told her to make her request. When you touch the sceptre of the King of kings, not only will your history change, that of those around you will also change. In the name above very name, your history will change, that of family will change and the history of Nigeria or any country you represent will also change for good in Jesus name. Amen.

According Esther 4:11, whoever went to the king’s inner court uninvited was by law to be killed except the golden sceptre gets raised. The fact that the king raised the sceptre meant that Esther’s situation change death to life. In the name that is above every name, every plan of death in your life will be cancelled in Jesus name. Amen. All those who are expecting your burial shall be disappointed in Jesus name. Amen.

When you come in contact with the sceptre of the king of kings, dramatic changes happen. When Jarius came in contact with the power of God in Mark 5:35-42, the sorrowful situation in his family ended, their weeping ended and joy came into their home. Jarius’ encounter with Jesus not only helped him but it brought happiness to his household. When the power of God comes upon you, it is not for you only. It is for those around you, for the needy, the sick and those who need help.

When Esther got to the king, he asked her voluntarily what she wanted even before she could make her request. When your day of favour comes, the Almighty God will volunteer to help you. In John 5:2-6, Jesus went voluntarily to the man at the pool of Bethesda, Christ voluntarily offered to help not because the man called out for help. In Luke 7:11-15, Christ out of compassion voluntarily offered to bring a widow’s only son back to life not because she went to him for help. Tonight, it is my prayer that the one God will use to favour you will volunteer help to you this week in Jesus name. Amen

Before Esther asked, the king already said the answer is settled. When the time of favour comes, all prayers will be answered. Isaiah 65:24 says “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Tonight, God will answer all your prayers in Jesus name. In 2Kings 4:1-7, all the widow of the prophet asked for was money to pay her debt but when God was through with her, she had money to pay her debts and more than enough money to take care of her family. In 1Samuel 2:21, all Hannah asked for was a child but after Samuel came God gave her additional 5 children. God is capable of doing abundantly above all you ask or seek. You will knock at one door and seven will open unto you in Jesus name. Amen.

Finally from the text, we notice that the King was willing to give Esther up to half of his kingdom. He said “what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.”. When you find favour in the sight of God, He makes his kingdom available to you. If you have not received favour in the sight of God, no amount of preaching can get you saved. The bible says in John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him”. Only those that are favoured of the Lord can be drawn to Jesus Christ. John 15:16 also says “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” It is only through Jesus Christ you can enjoy the favour of the Almighty God! Therefore if you are yet to give your life to Jesus, take a bold step, ask for forgiveness and surrender your life to Him today.
