Hey guys,
Has anyone tried linking an existing application to a new account here?
If yes, what trick did you use? I have been trying to help a friend, but it isn't working for me.

Thanks.

I must say, it's looking tougher by the day to get into canada.

I have been waiting for admission into university in canada for months now. I am thinking is it possible to get a Canada tourist visa, get in there and convert it to Study VISA. This is because it does take a long time to get visa approved from nigeria. I hear a decision on one's application is reached within days abroad. Why is Nigeria so different?

This will result to nothing... To change your status as you've indicated, you'll have to go back to Nigeria to apply for a study visa. Call cic for more info.

Hello everyone, I need info from people in Nova Scotia.
I've got admission to study at st Mary's uni, Halifax (Masters program).
How is life in Halifax generally and how good is St Mary's university? I need this information as soon as possible.

For those bankers looking for Masters program , kindly check saint Mary's uni MFIN program. A very good result and SOP can get you the admission. The tuition is quiet on the high side though but the curriculum looks great.

Secondly, can I find another company like prodigy that offer international students loans in form of student loans?
I have friends from there in my school.. Although, I haven't been there, but I hear it is a beautiful and diverse place(not as diverse as Ontario tho).. I bet you'd love it! cheesy

His application was refused based on Purpose of Visit and Current Employment Situation. Although he applied for Diploma course in Nova Scotia. So am a bit confuse
Did you explain on your SOP why you're leaving for Canada, the province you chose and the school?

For employment situation, I don't know how to tackle that. Nevertheless, you made a nice pick on Province... NS is beautiful and diverse compared to other Atlantic Canada provinces.

No reason was given. Just a short note. "Your application has been refused"
you should be able to see everything there. Look around the page.

Please house, my brother's application was refuse. How can I know the reason why his application was refuse so as to make corrections and reapply.

Somebody please help.
if you applied online, you'll see it on the portal when you logon... also, an email should be sent out( I think). If you applied via paper route on the other hand, you'll have to wait until your docs are returned to you(I think).

....Chin up and reapply. he was only refused not denied! Oluwa will see us through.

Hello everyone, I am kinda in a gamble situation now. I am on the verge of applying to university of toronto and mcgill university . What is left now is to pay the application fee which is appromitaely 20000 naira for each of the schools. But my issue is that how likely is it that they will admit me after paying the fees because I don't want to be at a loss. I finished with a first class in my undergrad course. Electrical Engineering to be specific.
With first class, I think getting accepted won't be a long thing. And you should know that it's a risk worth taking if you really want to come to Canada. Just pray and apply.
Goodluck.

My dear friends, Hope una dey do well?
To those that have gotten their trv, I say congratulations... and to those that are yet to get it, I say congratulations in advance.

I'm glad to say that God answered my prayers. He didn't just help me with the Visa, He brought me into Canada triumphantly.
And he will continue to bless us all...Amen. ♡♡♡

Guyz, when one (differ & ) request for a refund does it mean his admission will be closed?...
ok... let's look at it this way;
if it is a policy to pay the tuition before being accepted, then your application MIGHT be closed, else, it won't be.

When you defer, you'll still retain your student number and you will be required to pay another application fee, but this time, it will be half of the normal app fee (MUN).

So, try mailing the school's admissions office to hear from them directly.

Goodluck.

sorry I really don't get the part that says "so you can reapply without including the UCI number from the refused application" you mean the UCI number isn't really necessary in a re-application?
well, I no ft shout. grin
I didn't include it when I was reapplying... but I stated the reason for my the initial refusal.

Not that it is not necessary... I didn't add it because I forgot to. But it helped, cos I'm happy I forgot to add it

iv never applied before bro, im submitting my application tommorow, im jst kinda scared becos i ave a virgin passport. you were granted trv with a virgin passport?
yes!. My passport was virgin. It shouldn't be an issue cos they don't refuse by that reason much. Don't let fear ruin the good that's to come. Just gather your docs and list them here so that you will get help before you apply.

Good luck.

my epals,
i dnt understand this issue with refusal due to travel history. is it a bad for someone to have a virgin passport before coming to canada?. is it that they are feeling too big to disvirgin someone's passport?

itz very annoyin and confusin
I had a virgin passport. Na something dey always trigger that reason (don't know what it is exactly)...However, most of us believe it is just a random thing. So, you can just reapply without including the UCI number from the refused application, but add the reason for the initial refusal.
#CanadaAwaitsYou.

Good luck.

Please, does this apply to ottawa university and also does ℓ̊t means the WAEC represents TOEFL Fø̲̣̣я̅ nigerian students??....this i̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊ where am stuck in Fø̲̣̣я̅ now. Thanks
TOEFL is to prove your English language proficiency.... And most Nigerian skools teach in English, so, I think th e answer is yes, since there is English language amongst the list of subjects you done in high skool and you sat for it during waec. Plus, they accept credit or distinction
